Hey Everyone!

It’s Friday and time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes.

Each Friday the AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordart, or maybe the photo? Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. There is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay. Be inspired and create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery. Upload your page by Thursday 11.24.11 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift ’ and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5 GiftKard to Anna’s shop. The winner will be posted each Thursday here in the forum.

This week the AnnaTeam could not resist selecting one very cool page in the gallery and we are thrilled to present our first (and for sure not our last) Literal AnnaLift. Yep, we are lifting the very talented, Anna Aspnes, herself this week and her beautiful page, ‘Crush.’

Anna created this page about Ella in the midst of her first real crush. The page is simply cool and the journaling so thoughtfully written from a mother’s heart.

What about you? Tell us about your crush. The AnnaTeam thinks crush could be related to a person, or maybe it’s a place or even a thing in your life. My friend, Casbury, shared, 'Crush' would mean a short lived love; something that doesn't last. Beside a puppy-love or infatuation for another person, it could be a new hobby, a food, an activity/game. Something you're very attracted to at least initially and then the spark burns out. Or you do something so much and then get tired of it.’ We’ve all had crushes in life so think about your first crush or any crush and see where the AnnaLift takes you this week.

Loved Anna's great layout. Love the theme for this weeks challenge!!!
It brings me to the deep-felt love of 'le petit prince' for the one and only rose he knew, and that he had to leave behind for his journey to earth.

I was inspired to do this lift after seeing this post and the article on Anna's blog today about using the twiggy branches. It was a nice break from the abc album I have been working on for Christmas.

My almost new car that hubby got me to replace my 10 year old car. It got everything that I wanted in a car! Photo taken at the garage where I went to pick my car. It was at night hence the glare from the lights!
