Kid albums?

Do you make albums for your kids? I just have chronological family albums but I think I would like to put one together for each of them. Any ideas what to put in them, lol?

I also only make chronological year books with layouts about everyone and everything.

But I always choose a number of layouts about the boys and put them into two smaller softcover photobooks for each of them exclusively with layouts about each one.
It is no additional work as the layouts are the same, but that way each of them has their own book that they can drag around, take to bed and look through as often as they like.

I have done them for both of my kids, went through all of their photos and did it year by year, birthday photos, special events etc. It was great fun, but a lot of work!!

I have debated on if I should do albums chronologically or by holiday. I think I like chronologically, so maybe Rikki's suggestion would work well. Then if you really wanted, you could add an extra layout or two and a special note at the beginning of each.

I'd love to really put some effort into albums this summer and get myself squared away with that!

yea i have to have chronological or i'd lose my mind, lol. I guess i will pull layouts into a separate book for her but I didn't want it to be all about her, more of our family, something to look at when she is missing us, kwim?

Well, that would work just as well. The whole thing about my (lazy) idea was that I don't do special layouts for them, but just use what I already made for the "big" album and put them into separate more condensed albums for the boys.
