Inspiration question

How are you inspired to make a layout?
Is that because of a photo you have, because of a challenge hosted here, or because of a kit you bought, or some other reason?
After a week of absence, i lost my mojo a bit.

I'm having such are hard time getting any layouts done this month. Having said that, my biggest inspiration is challenges, because often times they will give me an idea I might not have come up with on my own. Almost every layout I make is a challenge layout somewhere.

Mostly I get inspred by kits (because I'm a CT member) also with the (designer) challenges.

btw Last week there was a record breaking heatstroke (and probably very hot in Belgian limburg I spent the week in my garden and not behind the computer///)

I find inspiration in so many things! It's different all the time! Sometimes a photo sometimes a kit! A song, a feeling, even a dream or memory!

Yes mostly for me a challenge works fine for me too

Still not over the heatwave here, we are all taking things very slow!
I look at the challenge requirements and think of an idea that would fit. Then i see if i can find a kit that works for that. Mostly one or two specific elements that catch my eye and use that to build my layout.
Photos are optional but hardly ever the start of my pages.

I know how you feel ... for me it is the challenges they always inspire me and when commenting in the Gallery the pages really start to get my mojo back again I have been feeling a bit like you lately Veer I hope you get your mojo back soon as I love seeing the photos of the wild life that you take.x

Yes to all. Sometimes, a challenge is just what I need to get going again, even if its not in my lane. Always...my grandson's photos inspire me too.

I'm like Danesa, when I get new pictures of any of my grands, it makes me want to scrap them.
