If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

This line, from the poem Ode To The West Wind by Percy Shelley, has been on my mind a lot lately, as this seemingly never-ending winter weather drags on here in the Northern Hemisphere! We just got 3 inches of snow yesterday, and while the sun is shining today, it is only 25 degrees F outside and I'm sitting here with a blanket on my lap. Tomorrow is March 1st, and while we sometimes get snow here into early April, I am so ready for warmer weather!!!

I am a winter lover! (usually haha) I don't know if its because of the chemo/radiation this past year or if I'm just getting old but this winter has been brutal for me. Normally, I never want winter to end but this year, I'm so ready for an early spring. I just wish spring & fall were longer and summer shorter. haha Temperature extremes are harder on me now. I'm heading to Biltmore next weekend and I'd love for the weather to cooperate and not snow & ice like it did a couple of weeks ago. My sister, from Colorado, will be here for 3 weeks, starting this weekend, and she has ordered spring weather. We shall see how powerful my requests are. haha
