I think I've encountered something really bad. My facebook account has been deactivated

I'm really confused. I did nothing and didn't even receive any emails from facebook. When I logged in, the system prompted: My account has been deactivated.

Where should I go for help?

I can't even register a new account.

I'm extremely depressed now. I don't know what to do?:crying1:

Oh goodness, I am so sorry! When you try to login is there a link for you to contact support? I Googled how to contact FB support if account is suspended and got this:

To contact Facebook support for a suspended account, try logging in to appeal the decision directly through the link provided on the login screen. If you cannot, use the Facebook Help Center's account recovery tools, which may include filling out a form to request a review. You can also use other support channels like email (for certain issues) or the Meta Business Suite for business-related problems, but the direct appeal is the first and most crucial step.

Step 1: Use the direct appeal option
  • Log in to your Facebook account. If your account is suspended, you will see a notification with a link to appeal the suspension.

  • Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions to submit an appeal. You will be given a form to fill out with details about why you believe your account was suspended in error.

  • You will need to provide information to prove your identity, such as a current email address, and submit the request.

  • The appeal must be submitted within 180 days of the account disablement.
Step 2: Use the Facebook Help Center
  • If you don't see a direct appeal link, go to the Facebook Help Center or the specific article for a suspended account.

  • The Help Center will guide you to the appropriate forms or support channels. For example, go to the "Account Recovery" page or search for "My personal Facebook account is suspended or disabled".
Step 3: Explore other support channels
  • For business accounts:
If the suspended account is a business or ad account, use the Meta Business Suite or go to facebook.com/business/help to find support options, which may include a chat feature.

  • For certain issues:
Some resources suggest certain email addresses, but note that there may not be a direct support email for general account suspensions, and direct appeal is the primary method.

  • For specific types of violations:
Facebook may provide different contact or appeal methods depending on the type of suspension. Check the suspension notification for any specific instructions.

Thank you~sweetie~
But I didn't find any form to fill out or any entry to appeal

It's really frustrating when this happens, because FB just doesn't care. When this happened to me a year ago, I got a new Yahoo mail email address (or Google, it doesn't matter) to use ONLY for creating a new FB account — I don't check it, don't get "push notifications" sent there and don't use it for ANYTHING else. Once I had my new account, I let my subscribers know and started building my friends list all over again. I also posted in my feed a short note about what happened and that I would be sending friend requests. It was a real pain. To make matters worse, about 3 months later, my original account reappeared! So, one other option is to just wait and see what happens.

Such a bummer. Good luck.

Because after I logged in, the prompt I received was that my account had been deactivated, and there was no prompt for me to appeal. So I can't do anything.

I can't log in now. This includes not being able to register a new account. Because I found out that facebook now prohibits Chinese mobile phone numbers from registering and using it... I don't know what I should do? :crying1:

I think I can't fix it because it has been disabled by facebook. No email was sent to me. There was no notice at all. I have no way to re-register either. Because I'm not allowed to register a new account

this is what I found:

If your Facebook account has been deactivated and you believe it was done in error, you can still attempt to recover it by submitting an appeal through Facebook's official channels, even if the option to contest is not immediately visible. Facebook typically disables accounts for violating its terms of service, community standards, or for suspicious activity, but users can request a review if they believe the action was mistaken. The appeal process requires providing personal information, such as your email address or phone number, full name, and a government-issued ID for verification. While Facebook may not provide a direct phone number for support, you can contact them via the Help Center or use the email address disabled@support.facebook.com. It is important to note that appeals must generally be submitted within 180 days of the deactivation, and if the account was permanently deleted, recovery is no longer possible after a 30-day window.

  • If you did not violate Facebook's policies, you can submit an appeal using the official form at https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/logout?id=260749603972907, which requires your login details and a photo of a government-issued ID.
  • Facebook may contact you for additional information during the review process, and the response time can range from a few days to several weeks.
  • If your appeal is rejected or you do not receive a response, there may be no further options for recovery, especially if the account is considered permanently disabled.
  • If you deactivated your own account, you can reactivate it by logging in with your credentials within the 30-day recovery window; after that, reactivation is not possible.

I don't think this method works for me. Because I opened this page. It's the same process as the one I experienced yesterday.

I didn't find any entry to appeal. There is no form either.

Because the page I'm showing is that facebook has permanently deactivated my account.

And I'm unable to apply for a new account. facebook has rejected the verification of mobile phone numbers from China. I don't know why. Because I have been using this account for over ten years. I have always been using a Chinese mobile phone number.

I don't know what to do now because I can't apply for a new account either.
