O sO silly
I am now officially 2 days away from Hawaii!!!! (or maybe it's 3 because of the travel time?... I'm a bit lost with the time difference lol.
There are 19 h of time difference with Japan but only 8 h flight so we leave around noon on Thursday from Japan (to go to Tokyo first) and we arrive in Hawaii Thursday morning! Of course on the way back home we loose about 2 days but oh well, we can still enjoy 4 full days there so that's not too bad.
Hubby will stay home will I enjoy my time there with some friends. It's been 19 years since I got a stamp in my passport for arriving in a new-to-me country. I was tired of watching people sharing their travels on FB and me always going to France or Korea. I needed a change and a new adventure so instead of waiting for hubby to take some vacation time (which is only in March usually) I decided to go without him. Let's say I am going to do a preliminary inspection of the island before we go again together maybe next year lol
I hsould have bought a travel guide when I was in France. Japanese travel guides are all about eating and shopping only. I have a hard time finding cultural info in the ones I bought but it's OK. At first I had nameless post-its here and there but I got loss very quickly so I changed everything and titled them all lol
Can't you tell I am a little too excited? lol Thursday can't come quick enough!
Anyway. Hopefully next week I will have many pictures to share! Talk to you soon!!
A friend is already there and as he will stay almost a month he has rented a condominium. Here is the view he sent this morning when he arrived. Can't wait to see it in person!! OMG!!
