Have the Drones over NJ made your news?

My Facebook feed is all drones, all the time. Since late November, there have been drone sightings almost every day. They are bigger than hobbyist drones and have been seen in large groups. Almost every night, I see more reports on FB. I haven't seen them but I don't; leave my house at night ;)
The FBI is involved and they put no-fly zones over a few "sensitive" areas. It's all very secretive. My town's mayor was at a meeting with other NJ mayors and the State Police and posted that a lot of the info the FBI has is "classified."

I am dying to know if this has reached any national news. If you have heard about it, can you share any links?

Also, what do you think, could this be this century's Roswell???

Yes, Chris, I've seen articles and videos about it. I can't remember the very first article I saw, but I then went to YouTube and there are lots of videos there. I only watched one or two, can't remember which ones. Some were saying the drones are watching Trumps golf courses, and some were talking about a particular bridge. Not sure what is true and what is simply speculation, but obviously the drones are a real thing.

Yes, we have heard a few reports. Not alarmed, but concerned. With our admittedly jaded view of govt. (based upon military experience and personal case- we were silenced two decades before any of the recent censorship began) , we don't trust the media or the ones saying "they don't know" what the truth of the drones is. These same ones who allowed a hostile govt to scan the entire nation... For my husband and me, it is an issue to pray for protection over the nation. Don't be scared, be prepared. We prepare through the prayers. And often the thing doesn't end up in any manifestation, which is good! :pleasantry:
@Betty Jo the bridge is the Verazanno -Narrows ; it connects NYC's Staten Island and Brooklyn. We have family on Long Island so we've crossed it several times. It could be a strategic target, but let's hope not. :)
 
There was a newsflash in my paper this evening... I haven't read it yet... the headline reads: 'they've also turned up elsewhere, and even then it was guesswork as to their purpose: the mystery surrounding drones is only getting bigger....

New Jersey gets ignored for almost everything but *this* gets international coverage. :rotfl:

IMHO, most of the sightings reported on the local FB pages are from cranks. Not to say that there isn't something going on, but some of the people I am semi-familiar with from oddball posts over the years. It feels like the Elvis sightings of the old days.

If it is something nefarious, it makes me wonder *why* NJ? We have the best pizza and bagels but I don't think that is worth flying drones around. (Although--- :thinking2: -- I went to college in central PA and ate some of the bagels and pizza there, so maybe that could be it? :D )

I get it. The area where the drones have been flying is 1. The Nuclear Submarine base in New London, Connecticut. and 2. President Trump's residence in NJ. Because we haven't been given any facts, there is a lot of speculation for sure. And copy cats trying to get a viral post. Also, drones were over Arkansas and Arizona. If they decide to reveal the facts, we will all better understand. No way can I believe that a drone like this which is so large with highly advanced security evading capability is a civilian goofing around. :bs:

Bagels don't affect me like that- they give me cramps! :giggle4:lol! Pizza in any part of N.E. U.S. is the BEST!!!

Amanda, thanks for the info concerning the areas where drones have been spotted. I had seen the title of one article saying the drones were as large as SUV's but didn't read it because it looked like click bait. From your photo, it looks like there are drones that large!! I had no idea. You are totally right, I'm not going to spend my days in fear of any of it, but will be praying.

So so true. Our NJ gets overlooked, but this is crazy! I thought i saw one on my way home last night, but wasn't sure.
My sister told me it made their news in Indiana. But the Netherlands, WOW!
 
Wow, I haven't watched the news in quite a while, I usually do David Moir's nightly show on Hulu...I will have to Google this...sounds intriguing!! LOL Hopefully it isn't something crazy and dangerous in the end...ugh...like any of us need that...

Well, you'd better watch out because I heard the drones had been spotted all over the place - including some of the southern states. What are they looking for?????:hiding1::couchhide::wallpeek:

We were talking about it at a work get-together yesterday. One woman saw one over her house and another woman's friend shot some video of one. The mayor asked the ecology center director where we work to keep an eye out and report to the FBI if anything was seen.
The theories were flying (no pun intended)!

LOL. The most plausible theory is that there are (this is fact--.>) missing warheads, & theory is the drones are searching for them.

I dunno. But it makes sense that the gov wouldn't want to announce this due to the panic that would ensue. Still say prayer is our best bet. Prayer & trust. Can't live without it. :D
 
I'm just worried that it is a distraction - you know how they put our attention on something else while they do something nefarious in the background...
