Fridge?

Our fridge broke just a couple of days before Christmas, and I'd like to make a page about this. Storing the food in plastic containers out in our shed. Using freezer packs in the fridge when it got too cold to keep the food outside. It's been a special Christmas for sure LOL

So ..... are there any fridges in any kit?

Wow, designers have everything covered! (Sorry about your fridge, it's never cold enough to keep food outside here even winter, I could fry an egg in our shed in Dec)

It's so cold now, we can't keep the food there. Might as well keep it in the freezer.

That would never be an option in South Florida. (If it ever is, we all have bigger problems than a dead fridge.)

Come down to Tassie Justine!!! lol! Well you have been I know, but today as I write, I am sitting here in track pants, long sleeve top and a warmish jacket (not a puffy one). It snowed inland two days before Christmas. lol! It's around 18C outside but 14.8C inside as I type this. :)

I actually keep my drink cans out back in the carport all year round as I don't like them really cold from the fridge. :) We don't get our really warm weather down here until mid January through to around late March. But then we start reaching temps of 25C up to 27C!!! :giggle4:

Eva, I saw this and totally cracked up when I saw this in the forum, wondering who actually lost their fridge!!! as in, took it somewhere and then lost it! :floorlaugh:

But that wasn't a fun thing to happen over Christmas!! how great that you were able to store some of it outside in the shed!

I really think I need to move down there. Sydney temps are killing me.

If it wasn't for the kiddo's attachment to her dance school I'd be down in a heartbeat.

Lol my dermatologist said my skin was most suited to living in Hobart yrs ago & much as I'd love to add a pet penguin to the flock, can't say my kids wld want to leave their friends or school's either, & DH is currently reno'ing the workshop of his dreams so we aren't moving anywhere in the foreseeable future but today has been nicer, still in shorts & tshirt but not nearly as sweaty (I don't glow) - still wouldn't be leaving food or drinks outside though
