First snow

Yay, we had snow today. Everything was white and although a lot of people around me grumbled and growled I was happy.
I love snow :dancing6: I'm so looking forward to a long walk tomorrow morning and maybe even building a little snowman.
It won't last, it will probably be gone by tomorrow evening, but I want to enjoy it every minute I can!!
Even the cat liked it!
Do you also enjoy snow so much?

Not a fan but it'll come anyway. This morning there was white covering rooftops, but it went away quickly. This afternoon it was trying to snow again, so we'll see. I wouldn't mind it so much if I weren't afraid of falling.
Oh yes...I hear you on the falling...when we were in Iowa I stepped out the front door and slammed down to the ground!! SO painful!!!! :bawling: I lived in Texas until I was 20 and moved to Iowa, so that was a HUGE change for me. I always loved snow because we RARELY got it :floorlaugh: We have been getting more snow here in Alabama over the last 13 years we have been here...I don't mind looking at it, I just hate driving in it, or when stuff ices over...

We have a wonderful (sarcasm) game here we call "which lane am I in" and we follow that with "am I on the road". Last week the mail man wasn't on the road :floorlaugh: He choose poorly and missed the turn to my work and went down over the lawn! Thankfully he had momentum and didn't get stuck. It was almost a white out and it was a crazy day. Driving is such fun. Keep the blood flowing and the heart beating fast some days.

As a kid I liked snow sledding and making snow forts

As an adult I like it for Christmas--didn't happen often but then snow blowing the driveway and shoveling became a drag.

As an older adult I was tired of it. After removing it I ached for days and there was a fear of falling. So we moved from CT to FL.

So all you who have snow please take pictures and make pages!

I don't necessarily have to have snow, if then only at Christmas ... LOL ... Fortunately, I now live in a region in Germany where it rarely snows and when it does, the snow doesn't stay for long.
When we lived in Germany for 3 years it only snowed once but friend from California had never seen it so we got cardboard boxes and dressed up to show him how to slide on them. A very fond memory

We first lived 2 places in Bad Windsheim then on base at Illesheim. 1973 to1976. I'm sure it is very different now.

This is in northern Bavaria. I know the area, it snows there even in winter. I think a lot has changed after all these years ...

Yeah, falling is an issue. When I was younger I didn't mind, but after I broke my arm a few years ago when I fell I did get more scared.
