I am trying to figure out how to turn on a grid that will show me my page in thirds. (does that make sense?) Not permanently, just as a guide. I assumed it would be under 'view' under 'grids. or 'rulers' but I can`t figure out how to set it.

For photoshop elements 5 it says to:
In Full Edit or Quick Fix, choose Edit > Preferences > Grid.

I assume it's similar in photoshop 7. Hope that helps.
 
Hey Alyssa! I use Elements 6 and its the same as what Merkeley just wrote........of course to turn it on just click the View menu and select Grid.......select it again to turn off!! Have fun!! :)
