Does Anyone Watch Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries?

This show comes on right before Masterpiece on the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) channel. It's an Australian series and I am just in love with it. The story lines are fun and twisty, there's a smattering of romance, and the heroine is SUCH a woman of the 1920's. The costuming is right our of Vogue, the sets are incredible. Over all I think it is opulent and rich, funny but serious, sassy but elegant. I really would love to sit down at my sewing machine and make some of her clothes. Hmmm, maybe I can convert my patterns to doll sized and create a 1920s wardrobe for an 18 or 21 inch doll.

This show is just enchanting for me!

How am I just seeing this? I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. The costumes are amazing, and Miss Fisher is THE woman. I love Jack too - he's so traditional and uptight, yet daring and modern. and the episodes are fun to watch.

SAME here, I totally didn't see this post until Olga replied to it...LOVE that show!! We watched the seasons that were available (I think on Amazon Prime) like 4 years ago....it was awesome

I loved that show. I too watched the seasons, twice I think, on Amazon Prime. I saw the movie too. I hated to see that series end. I loved all the fashion's too.

Yes, I have seen the shows and I think one of the movie they made. It is an Australian show so I was able to watch them easily on TV. I really enjoyed them. Enjoyed the different characters.

No! I didn't. I'm going to have to see if I can find it. I've been watching the series on the US Public Broadcast System and it's jumped around a bit. I want to watch it in order. But I'll have to do it late at night in my room I think. My Dad watches it, sort of. He usually naps waiting for Midsommer Mysteries!

Update!! My husband just sent me a screenshot that Miss Fisher is on Amazon Prime now!!! I told him that we were just talking about her in the forum a few months ago...he said he has such great memories of watching it with me...it really is such a GOOD show

This show is on tv (reruns) here and I am loving it!
One episode a day so already in season 2!
I especially love the intro with all the red ink spots, makes me think of scrapping.
