Oscraps

Do your kids/grandkids ever scrapbook?

This made me smile SO much and I just have to share. All of my grandkids have been fascinated with my scrapbooking. This is a scrapbook page that my youngest grandson, Asher, created a few years ago. It's a page about his mom going to the beach and I adore it. I'm SO glad that I took a photograph of it. Do your kids, grandkids, friends' kids, nieces/nephews love to scrapbook?

I cannot have children (therefore, no grandchildren), but my nieces do. I had a sleepover with them once and we scrapbooked all weekend. It was so much fun.

My granddaughter (11) was very interested in digiscrapping and painting! She's now learning from me in Photoshop! We enjoy it both very much!:desk3:

YES. I was amazed to find a beautiful BIG scrapbook at Ollies for $3.00!!! We have begun to do pages of this year, then we will work backward. So many photos, going to have to cull them a bit!

Oh Laura, that sounds like fun with your nieces. It's such fun to see kids loving scrapbooking and they put their hearts into it.

I don't have any children, but I do have lots and lots of siblings. And yes... we do artistic stuff a lot. Not sure if you would call it scrapbooking, but when we are done, we all look like marvelous paintings.
We do paintball :dancing6:
Oh Buddy, what fun - but paintball sure is messy! I hope you clean up your mess when you're done. :floorlaugh::giggle4::giggle4:

Oh, that sounds like fun, Amanda. I used to love to find big, inexpensive scrapbooks for them, too.

Nope, none of mine scrap. Mostly I have boys so that is part of it, but my daughter is intrigued but doesn't have time. I did a year of scrapping (paper) with my first two when we were starting homeschool and they loved it. We did group gathering and it was fun. But they didn't do anymore after that. So far the extent of daughters is Shutterfly Christmas cards LOL Maybe someday but I think it will end with me. And they'll all fight over who gets the scrapbooks I've printed.

Well, you had a fun year with it, at least. My 3 older grandsons actually liked it and had their own books. I remember, they used to fun through my stash like it was water (I was a paper scrapper then, too). I used to take them to the Dollar Tree and let them buy stickers and of course, they'd put them all on one page. :giggle4: :giggle4:

Yes, all stickers on one page or on your own face!!!! That's my grands. They put them on their face. But what fun that might be. Print some photos and then buy some cheap supplies and let them go to town creating a layout. Great idea Thanks!!

Oh yes, they used to put them on their faces, their arms, you name it. Funny kids. Yes, buy a lot of cheap stuff because they burn through it. :giggle4: :giggle4:
