Oscraps

Do you have scrapping goals each month?

Good morning ladies! Can anyone tell me how we got to June? Because I am pretty sure it can't be more than March.

Question for all of you. Do you have scrapping goals for yourself? Do you have a certain number of layouts you try to do? Do you have a specific number of comments you want to leave in the gallery?

This will be a busy month at the O and I'm trying to set some goals to keep myself on track.

My goals for June:
1) to leave 250 comments in the gallery
2) make layouts for all challenges
3) to check in to the Daily O's at least 20 of the 30 days
4) to create 10 Standing O's

No, I don't set goals for myself - it sort of interferes with my creativity. But, having said that ... I do try and make all challenges, both here at the O and at 2 other places.

Guess, I have a kind of goal too for the coming month. I will try and use more of my older stuff. I have sooooo much digiscrap supplies, that are just rotting away on my ehd. I need to use more of those. Like using an older template - or a wordart or a photo mat or something and incorporate it into new design. It's such a waste not to use what I already have. And I have digital supplies all the way back from 2007. LOL

I try to play in all of the monthly challenges and most of the designer challenges, so that keeps me busy, along with my CT work.

Aside from my CT work I try to keep an eye on the gallery and chatting to participate. I don't like to set a number goal for myself because then I feel bad if I don't make it but I try to be "present" as much as possible. I like to get a few challenges done too, they are always fun.

Love the idea of adding older items into your scrapping. I need to do something like that.

I love doing the challenges so try to participate in as many as I can. I also try to scrap a page a day - for Oscraps or other sites. Overall, I have a loose goal of completing my 2004 and 2005 albums this month - I've got just a few pages to go in each one, so hopefully that will be done and out of the way, though it really depends on what products I need to work with to complete my CT requirements. I have eight yearly albums in various stages of completion, so getting two finished before summer holidays would be huge - printed, they would provide hours of family fun!

Oh my goodness! A layout a day! That is amazing! Hoping that you get those 2004 and 2005 albums completed.

Other than my CT duties, my loose goal is to complete challenges here and elsewhere. I pick and choose which ones I do as some inspire and some don't.
I do try to learn and practice new techniques as well.

I play at other places and have CT commitments alongside the O, so I am very clear and organised about it all - I am a project manager IRL and I can never shake the desire to plan LOL. I have a paper planner and at the start of each month (if not before) I sit down and plan out each site & all my CT commitments. Then I revisit it, when the themes for challenges all over are released incase my CT commitments can fit these. Discounts are important for me, as I try to stick to a budget ;)

I am also a PM in real life…probably why I asked the question.:p

I have loose goals - plans for each month. I have a notebook with a page for each month and each forum with all the challenges and other LOs needed at each. Once I create a LO - I put a '+' mark by each LO and/or challenge and change it to a multi-cross when it is uploaded to galleries. I try to complete most of the challenges and some of the new releases especially at the forums where I CT. Plus I also do LOs for the Designers I CT for. I usually have at least 1 challenge I host at 1 or the other forum I CT with. This month will be extra busy with the OS Birthday Bash.

My planner is set up very similar to your notebook x
