Do you ever send photos to other people after you have scanned them

I know that many of us have been sorting and scanning old photos. Some of mine, while important to me, would be just as important to my cousins. And some of my cousins would not care at all. Especially with my nieces and nephews. I am going to have many, many scanned photos there. But many of the photos will have 3 or 4 kids in the photo. Who do I send the original to? LOL I'm so happy to be far enough along to think about these things.

In the case of the kids being in the picture, I'd send it to the mom and let her send it on to them, if they wanted it. Sometimes, after I post an old picture (or sometimes a new one) on a LO on FB, somebody will ask me if I'd send the picture to them.

Maybe you could start a family group and share the pictures on there. I know there are families who do that. The members can share theirs and you could all download what you wanted.

Mine are scanned and shared digitally on a USB, however, the physical ones are give to the relatives who prefer the actual photo. If no one wants them I keep them in a big box and let whomever comes after me deal with it. ha ha

The originals are kept by those who inherited them - my mom, my aunt, etc... I host a Google Photos album for the digital copies - where everyone can add their comments, memories, etc...
