Day 9 - Artist Trading Cards (ATC) | CHALLENGE

So here I am thinking that I'd practice using Affinity Photo on my laptop instead of using Photoshop on my desktop - I mean ATCs are small format, how hard could it be? I hate AP!! Things that would be absolutely trivial in Photoshop (especially masking) are a pain or impossible in AP. AP has the world's worst GUI and the craziest number of keystrokes needed to accomplish simple tasks. So here's what I have to show for a whole day's worth of work.

This was a fun challenge. Thanks for hosting.

I'm afraid I know nothing about Affinity Photo. However, @Angela Toucan may know how to make it easier.

@hoodsmom
If you know some of the best ways of doing things Affinity can be a lot faster and easier to use than photoshop for the basics. Obviously user interfaces are a bit different and some tools have different names, but everything you can do in photoshop can be done in Affinity with no extra work with some know how.

I have loads of tutorials on using Affinity for digi-scrapping (including ones for complete beginners) and have done a number of watch me scrap videos that are on You-Tube. As they are not located on the OScraps forum anyone wanting links can message me.

here's my Summery Xmas set - added Wrinkles overlay from Vicki Stegall to some of the papers and wordart for some texture but otherwise, it's all Joyce Paul (with a tweak to the Seasons Greetings WA to make it seas & greetings)
