@FloridaGranny
1. true
2. false
3. true

and for me:
1. My grand-children are not coming this year
2. I decorated my Xmas tree in pink and white
3. I have already started eating Xmas chocolates
Hi @Thuria,
Not quite. I have a regular tree (though I like the idea of a palm, LOL)
Also, I'm one of the approximately three people in the world who loves fruitcake. :D
And you are correct about 3: I make a Document December book each year.

1) My Christmas tree is decorated with real candles
2) My dog gets a special Christmas sausage
3) My Christmas dinner is Filet Wellington
[/QUOTE]

@nobles

I'm guessing False, true, true. and am probably completely wrong!

1. I put up a tree for the first time in 4 years.
2. I bake a turkey every year.
3. No more stockings- the grandkids are too old.

LOL, I hate anything sweet, so sorry, no mini yule log for me.

And yes, I always make flambéed lobsters with whisky (everyone loves them, and they're so quick to make... so it's a win-win).
But no luck, this year I'm celebrating Christmas lunch with my son at his partner's house... so I won't be the one cooking. :giggle4: ;)

What a great game! Thanks for hosting Cindy!

I say that number 3 is the lie.

Mine are:
1. We don't even know what we are doing for Christmas this year.
2. The tree is up but not decorated.
3. We are planning on our first white Christmas in many years...and I am so happy about it.

Something tells me the fake one is no. 1, and no. 2 and 3 are correct.

Now it's my turn:
1. We put up a real Christmas tree because our cats love drinking Christmas tree water.
2. I hate traditional Polish Christmas dishes.
3. This Christmas, I am moving to an assisted living facility.

@Agata I'm going to guess that #3 is false.

Here's mine:
1. We love to stay up until midnight on New Years Eve
2. We don't decorate for Christmas until December 15
3. My husband and I buy our own Christmas presents

@Agata I'm going to guess that #3 is false.
Well, no. 3 is correct! I'm just not moving permanently, but I will be staying there for 3 weeks during my Christmas visit with my mom in Poland. I'm silly excited about it. Finally, someone will take care of me and not the other way around! :D
The false is no. 2. I actually LOVE traditional Polish Christmas food - or maybe I should say Christmas Eve food (in Poland, Christmas Eve is celebrated more than Christmas Day!)

It was a good try, though, and I admitt, I threw you a curve ball ;)

@Hildy

Terri I guess that #2 is a lie.

1. We have 11 people here on Christmas Eve
2. My husband always surprises me with what he buys me
3. We only have decorations for 14 days.

I’m going to guess #3 is the lie

1. I once stayed up all night finishing a puzzle because I couldn’t stop until it was done.
2. I’ve never broken a bone in my life.
3. I secretly dislike chocolate desserts.

@ysbgo

The lie has to be #3... who doesn't like chocolate?! LOL

Mine:
1. I will be travelling to LA the week of Christmas.
2. We are having sushi for Christmas dinner.
3. We are skipping the photos with Santa this year.

Nope, we only decorate for 14 days. Goes up after Dec birthday and down before January birthday. #2 was a lie. We share an amazon account and no matter how many times I tell him to order using his daughters account, he doesn't. So I get every email of purchases and shipping. The only thing is does is change the shipping name to his so I dont open the box. Not that I dont already know what and when :giggle4:

Actually it's #1 that's the lie. With my birthday mid-December, it's always been a kind of dividing line in our calendar.

@scrap-genie
I think #2 is the lie.

1. I leave my decorations (santa collection) up through January
2. We are having spaghetti and meatballs for Christmas Day dinner
3. My Christmas tree is 8 ft. tall

@Janisn
I think #2 is the lie.

1. When I was a kid, I snuck downstairs late Christmas Eve and left stockings for my parents.
2. My kids' stockings were always very large and stuffed with all sorts of presents and treats.
3. I stuff a stocking for my husband every year.

No, maybe a tricky one but we've really never had a tree. No. 3 is the lie as I quit baking cookies many years ago though I used to love making Christmas cookies.
