Daily O's - Wednesday 8/4/10

Quick drive by from me. Another hot day :flame:here I think. Don't worry, I'll soon be complaining because it's cold.

Not too much going on here...just the "normal" stuff. And we've made it to hump day so quite an accomplishment there.

GoOd morning. It is cloudy and humid but hopefully the clouds will burn off soon. They are supposed too. I am taking Cait and her friend to the lake today. Then tonight, we are going to Harrigan's, a little pub down where I grew up. Its a special day and a special place. It is where Gary and I went on our 1st date-- 20 years ago!! Gah! how scary does that sound? We got engaged there a year later. So here we are, 20 years, and we thought it would be fun to go back.

The dr's appt went good yesterday. Scott's blood work is improving and so are his symptoms. Yay! I just get nervous for when he goes back to school. Last summer he improved a lot, and then crashed and burned when he went back. So my fingers are crossed that he can maintain this. We go back Sept 21st, so if he is having issues (but he won't-- its all going to be good!!) we can catch it early.

My new TV addiction is Leverage. Does anyone watch that? We watched Season One on Netflix, and we were able to download all of Season 2. We watched the first two episodes last night. The characters crack me up- totally kooky and bad a** at the same time. :whip:

Linda it is on my to-do list for this morning to upload some of my lo's I did while the gallery was down and to get going on my commenting!

Personals... I have been so bad, running like a chicken with its head cut off.
And no less, I miss the Daily oo's when Mama Vicki starts it up.

Vicki- I hear ya on the trash cans- but I always miss recycling. In fact I have a huge cdbd box inb my LR as I type that must get out ASAP b/c if I miss recycling today and it stays in my LR one more minute-- my head will explode! Oh wait, my head was cut off in that first sentence I wrote.....
5th grade for Alyx? Wow! It does fly. I have a middle schooler and a high schooler this year. How the heck did *I* get to be so old????

Merkee- I love the new avi- you look so cute!

Good Morning.....

I am totally blown away by the fabulous weather we are having...but since we were melting most of June and July...guess we deserve it!!! MY ELECTRIC BILL TELLS THE STORY TOO!!! YIKES!!!!

Alrighty...gotta share what Cameran said to me yesterday....We were running errands, and he wanted to stop and get a SLURPEE...YUM!! Had had one of those in a long time....but when we got there there were tons of people at the register getting lottery tickets...we had to wait forever!!! After we got back in the car he asked me why did it take so long. I told him because all of those people were buying lottery tickets...he wanted to know what that was....so I explained the lottery to him and then he wanted to know how much money you could win if you you played....I told him for today's it was 44 million. His reply: "NANA!!!! That's how much money we need!!!!!! Why didn't you play???? If we won that much money, we could buy TWO houses, TWO Cars and go to the beach all at the same time!!!! and we would not even have to use a coupon!!!!!" I almost spit my slurpee all over the windshield!!!! Where that boy comes up with this stuff!!! Yeah...just love that boy!!!

Vicki.....DH is in charge of trash around here!!! the only thing beside the yardwork....and that man never forgets anything!! 20 years living here and NOT ONCE...seriously NOT ONCE has he forgotten to put the trash out!!! ~sigh~ wish I could be so perfect!! HAHA!!!

Merkee....YUM Roast...we had that on Monday...I need to use my crockpot more...but I love to slow cook in the oven!!! YAY!!! NEW PROJECTS!! I LOVE IT!!!! Oh I know what you mean about the shcool thing....I didn't miss it when my girls were done!!! I missed them being little, but not school!!!

J.....WOW...you need some rain!!! Will do a rain dance just for you I know you are happy to have DH home with you. TWO months is a long time!!! Sounds like a perfect world to me J!!!

Kat....HI SWEETIE....here's to cooler days for you!!

Laurie....Yay for scrapping!! and thanks for that suggestion....that is definately one way to go!!!

Linda...HI TO YOU TOO!!! sounds like you girlies got our mega 6 week heatwave your way now!!

Chris...WOOOOT!!! Congrats on that special anniv. Wish Mike and I could do that...but the place we had our first date is gone now Yay for Scott's appt...sounds very promising!!!! Hope his improvement continues!!! Have fun at the Lake....and I really like that show Leverage too!!

Hi Girlies...
I haven't written for such a long time, so sorry...
I have now holidays, 2 months, but 1 is just over...
On the last days of June I was in Ustka, I was lucky, because I have not only beautiful weather (only sun!), what I think, is really important on the seaside, but also my Love these were only a few hours, which we could spend together (but everyday), and I wasn't satisfied, but really happy... now is worse, we have only our missing... thanks to God, that we have sms-es and we can stay in touch all the time...
Since 2nd July we have the new member of our family, he's called Stasio (Stanisław) - you can see a lot of his photos in my gallery of digital LOs, because I was making a photobook for him... That was a great gift!
On 12th August I have an exam to get my driving licence, brr...
