Daily O's UP TOO EARLY MARCH 12th

I have been up since 2:45....when bug started whimpering...tucked her back in, then she came to crawl in bed with me....my shoulder has been hurting me since I got up yesterday morning (well down around the blade...I think it's kinked..kept the heating pad on most of the day yesterday)..so I couldn't lay with her...tucked her in beside Mike and I came to the living room...was just about asleep in the recliner and here she comes and asked me to turn the TV on....took her back to her bed....listened to her whimper for about 30 minutes...now here it is almost 6 and I am wanting to go to sleep so bad..but I am forcing myself to stay awake now....I will take a LONG nap after the kids get off to school.

I SCRAPPED TWO PAGES YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think some of my mojo has returned!!! I have actually scrapped 7 pages in the last week.


Sharon and I did the clothing exchange yesterday...she brought me a whole pile of clothes for Jesse that Cameran outgrew, and I had a whole bag for her for Savannah that Bug outgrew...Nice to only have to buy for one...I only need to buy shoes for Jesse...and since he can wear almost everything from last year as well as what Cameran outgrew...I won't need to wash his clothes but once every three weeks..LOL!!! Yeah..he has a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


It's been raining all night....but the temps didn't drop...so at least it's not cold..it's about 50 right now....I hope we have seen the last of the cold weather...I am sick of it!!!!!!!!!!!! I want Spring....year round.........well........actually Spring for 9 months and Autumn for 3 :becky: perfect year, huh?

you should try and take a nap during the day to compensate

As for your season choices, I know just the place : go to Bermudas ! (try not to get lost though). I went there when I was 10 or 11, and it has those 2 seasons only, and it's a lovely place

Having quite a few problems at work today due to the bad weather in Paris. We cannot proceed with the go live we had planned for the project we're working on, because we cannot take the risk to further impact the operations as they are already higly impacted by the weather conditions ... and now we have to find a plan B to still make everything ready on time ... which means we're going to have to rush some steps ... ugh !

I am not going to complain about being at since 3;45 then Nana.... you have me beat by a long shot.
Hope that you can rest a bit today. Yesterday was National Nap Day or something like that. I tried to lay down for a bit yesterday morning but then felt even worse, so i had to get back up. Today is another day of *that.*


The good-ish news is that I did get the cleaning job. Bad-sih news is that the house is very small so I am not able to charge much at all. But something is better than nothing. And she is local so I don't have to travel so I guess it works out ok.

Not much else going on in my life. just off to buy food today for the week, and then come back here and hang out at the party. I am already behind in scrapping- I need to do Challenge #1.

Nana, bummer about your "night." sounds like a "day" to me. i actually made it to 5:17. i think i might have slept all the way through from about 10, which is amazing for me. hope you get the nap in. sounds like we have the same weather as you. gray and damp. well, at least it's not snow....

Dumpty, bad weather in Paris sounds a lot nicer than having to experience bad weather in Pittsburgh, where i am! hope you find Plan B and can accomplish the work you need to get done.

ironing for me today. and maybe a fast trip to Crate and Barrel to replace my broken pepper mill. now THAT is important, huh?? :becky:

Most of mine are good now...crazy pills are working wonders for me in all departments..including sleep. And yes...a peppermill is important stuff!!! LOL!!


Marie....thanks for the tip...I might just have to move there...by myself..LOL!!!! I hope you get the work all figured out...it's a pain when weather doesn't cooperate!!


Chris...yay on the job..but sorry it's not the $$ you were hoping for....I guess some is better than none....You are in the same shape as me sleep wise....3:45 is still way too early!!! Let's nap together...bet if we down the blue bottle, we would sleep good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :becky:

Morning my O fam- I slept way to good last night- woke up with a sleep hangover. I believe our trees must be pollinating so I can't breathe- but who needs air? So workout done, and now to get ready for work. After yesterday work and grocery shopping, I had no energy to even peruse the boards- I did see how hopping it is!

Chris and Linda - you are the early birds, that's for sure!
I feel your pain on the menopause thing. The hot flashes were horrible this fall, but have backed off lately? Fingers crossed that they don't come back! I can't take anything for them because of the family history of Breast Cancer - Mom is a double survivor.

Hope the weather in Paris improves Dumpty so you can launch your project. I hate having something ready to unveil and then having to wait for reasons beyond control.

Chris - yay on the new house and that it is close!

Whatnext - not sure what it's doing weather wise in PA, here in SD we've had quite a thaw, water everywhere, AND mud, lots of mud. Cooling off again for a few days and warming by the weekend. More snow/rain on the way but no big storms, hopefully!

LaurieW - our trees aren't budding yet, but it won't be long. I remember last spring we were mowing the lawn by the end of March. Here's hoping this spring comes a little less quickly and more subtle. My allergies have been bad all winter it seems

In up too early too. My baby sounds like he has croup... I'm not for sure on that but he sounded hoarse all night. We got snow again which really really sucks bit supposed to warm up again by this afternoon!

Morning ladies... Ugghhh everyone is up waaayyy to early this morning!! I actually on got up once to make a pee run at 3am and then back to sleep til 5am when the coffee maker beeped that it was ready. So here I am with all of you sleepy :sleep: people! Short shift for me today and then 2 days off!!! I love my new temp boss and the way he keeps to his scheduling ! Still unsure of what is to come with the new owners, we will have to wait and see at the end of the month.

Nana Linda - My poor USA sister!! How rotten that you got woken up so very early!! Hope your shoulder feels better and that tonight everyone stays in their beds for the entire night!! Sounds like your mojo has definitely returned!! I can't remember the last time I scrapped that many pages in a week!! I seem to take all day to just get one page partially finished, but hoping to change that today at the Speed Scrap!! I can't wait!! Have a great nap sometime this morning!!

Marie - Hope your Plan B works out for you!! You will have to let us know just what it is you are working on!!

Chris - :mmph: a bad nights sleep again!! That really sucks!! :hug: my faery friend!! I hope that you get the rest you so desperately need soon!! Happy that you got the new client, at least its a bit more money in your pocket and you won't have to spend any of it on gas to get to her place!! Laurie - It must be awful to be allergic to the pollen in the spring!! It is so thick around here when the cottonwood trees bloom that the deck turns yellow and has a thick layer of pollen on it. Glad that I am not allergic!! At least not yet anyway! Have a good work day!

LindaPete - Nice to see you here in Daily's !! I am the same with the menopause thing, hot flashes are better lately, but they always seem to re-appear darn it!! Not the intense ones anymore, but still a nuisance !! Hope your day at work is great!!

Good morning! WOW you ladies are up so early - I slept until 6:30. I feel guilty. It is grey and raining and will be all day! My son had a nice birthday - got his favorite dinner out - adult mac and cheese. And it is so yummy. Not much else going on.

Chris I hope you finally get some sleep! congrats on the new client!

Morning, everyone!! (Not telling anyone when I woke up...spring break is being kind to me!!!)
I'm going to take advantage of today and drink a trough of coffee (like Petra said yesterday!!) and quilt all day. I have to fit groceries (like Chris today!) in and dishes (ugh!), but I may go get pizza for dinner, because Mr Gorgeous is off to Denver this afternoon and I can get away with it!! thank God for Little Caesar's 5$ pizzas, huh????

I also have to do my Challenge#3 today! Yay!
