Daily O's: Tuesday, September 5

Good morning ladies! I sure hope that @faerywings has had a relaxing time away. Today, I am thankful for short work weeks.

My weekend was uneventful and I think that today will be as well. It is 69° and feels like 73°. Plus, it is only supposed to get to 89°. Fall may come after all.

I FaceTimed with Syd 3 times yesterday...she doesn't feel good...she is getting a cold so she wanted to be on the phone with me....half the time, we didn't even talk. I'll take it!

@Cherylndesigns I'm glad that Marley is doing better...I sure hope that they figure it out soon. Was it sad to watch Braden leave again?

Ok, I need to get ready for work. I'll be back later.

Good Morning!
Hope everyone had a great Labor Day. Mark and I sat in our recliners and binge watched Blue Bloods. My stomach was acting up, so it was leftovers for Mark (hot dogs and brats from Saturday night's gathering at the pits) and Stouffers frozen dinners. I actually feel like I can eat something this morning!
I'm catching up on laundry today. I'll probably check out some other challenges, too. I also need to do some social media posting. Other than that, it is the second Monday of the week!

Sounds like your temps are about like ours. It got into the 90's yesterday but the humidity was not quite as high as it has been. Feels like its going to be about the same today.
Sounds like Syd is missing mom's healthcare! I always loved it when the kids weren't feeling well and wanted to snuggle!

Morning everyone and Happy Tuesday! I bet that there are some parents out there doing a happy dance after getting the kids off to school this morning. It has turned much cooler here and the nights have been somewhat chilly, seems fall is certainly on the way! I am looking forward to getting back to hikes tomorrow and this one looks like a very good one to start back, pretty and not too hard. I have been very lazy since the kids all left and I really need to get some exercise! I hope to get back to the pool pretty soon also, but for now I will take some days of kayaking instead. The place where SIL Linda lives installed a KayaArm and it makes getting in and out of the kayaks so much easier! Here is a link to a video about the KayaArm if you are at all interested in seeing it. Not much happening here today so I am going to spend a part of my day scrapping the many photos I have of the In-Law's 70th wedding anniversary. My arm is still bothering me so it will have to be done in increments and while wearing my arm brace. Guess I should try to get an appointment with my doctor and find out what the heck is going on with wrist.

@LSlycord - Thanks for starting the morning chatter! I hope that @faerywings is enjoying her time away too! Your temps must be much more enjoyable! Hope your work day goes well and that Syd is feeling better soon. It's so nice that she wants to be with her Momma even if there isn't much chatting going on!

@BrightEyes - OMG I don't think I could stand the heat that you are having! Don't blame you for just taking it easy! Hope the temps cool off a bit so you can sit outside. You must miss both your sister and your father very much! Sending you gentle hugs!

@Cherylndesigns - Happy birthday to Ava! Hope you had a lovely time at the party! Sure hope that we hear some good news about Marley, but sounds like you won't know much for a couple of weeks yet.
