Last day of summer vaca for us. *sighs* Now it is just one last day to be anxious. I told the kids yesterday that I wish they went back today just to get that first day over with.

I have a busy day so hopefully my anxieties will be kept at bay. I still have a lot of loose ends to tie up for SAT's and Cait's 504 Plan but it will all get there, fall into place. Remember how this time last week I was still going crazy over Cait's schedule? See, its getting better!!! (Is it obvious that I am trying to convince myself of this?? hahaha!!)

I am walking, grocery shopping, working and then crashing today. Sounds like a plan!
Still no scrap mojo......

I wish that my kids were happy and excited about going back to school.
I wish that my parents could live forever. I worry more and more about that as they get older
I wish my OCD and anxiety would go away!

Hoo boy, I think I need a drink!!!! Too bad I can't, I am on Tindamax/abx From Hell this week. No alcohol. Isn't that a total irony, that the medicine I have to take that makes my head/mood even crazier than usual is contraindicated by alcohol???

Nancy- that sounds like a full day you had planned, did you get a lot done?

Fran- I would love to see your pics too. My IL's went to Ireland in May and their photos were so gorgeous. I even asked for a DVD of them as a birthday present. Now I am working on **trying** to scrap some of them for their b-days/Christmas gifts.
Bet your photos are amazing too, what beautiful countries.

Phyllis- how did the painting go? And yes, grass is always greener b/c if I could have straight hair I would be so happy- both of my kids have my crazy curly hair too and I think they feel the same.
Hope that your computer gets fixed asap but glad you can still get online!

CDO- I suffer from compulsive disorder obsessive it should be in alphabetical order- or something like that- guess it lost it's impact!!

the painting went well yesterday. i think she's going to finish up today or tomorrow. so far everything is just white. she has to paint on some edge distressing, put on a few coats of polyurethane, and Bob's your uncle! then i have to get back to finishing the wallpaper/glue takedown. then have to find a plasterer. then i have to decide what color for the walls. then i have to Paint the walls. then Hubby has to reconnect the sink plumbing and put on the sink new top. then we have to hire a plumber to do the shower plumbing. then we'll see how it looks.

Chris, breathe deeply, then make some yours-alone MEEEE Time today.

my stupid computer. still trying to get it to stay on. this a.m. i managed to get the thing to start up Windows, and i did a few things, then the screen went black. so it's off again. gotta find a Computer Guy, i guess. :mmph: just hanging around home again today while the painter's here. i guess i can do some laundry. maybe do some straightening up in the study. a pretty boring and free-form day, looks like.

good morning and wow what a gorgeous day here in NJ. Low humidity and blue skies almost perfect! Got kitchen clean but as for laundry - went down to put in my loads only to find it filled with laundry from the boys canoeing trip. Really! I know I could have just finished it but it made me angry and so I just decided I would wait and not stress. Now this morning I will do it. Got a good walk in yesterday so that was good.

Chris dont forget to take those back to school photos tomorrow morning - maybe those photos will help in getting your mojo back.

Phylis glad the painting went well and it sounds like you have a plan going forward.

Hugs and kisses all around! Today is my day off sorta...I gotta make sure the kids are on track with school, and I need to clean up the dishes and laundry. Otherwise, it's a sewing kind of day!! hugs to everyone!! ♥♥♥
