good morning - well my dermatology appt revealed a few more pre cancerous areas and they were frozen off. Oh to think of all the sunburns I got as a kid and in college just to be tan. But glad that I have a doctor who takes care. Made a Blue Apron dinner that was just a cheeseburger with a tomato salad. Yummy and I was in the mood for a burger. Tonight going out with my girlfriends to celebrate one's birthday. Should be fun. It is clear out now but should be cloudy by end of day. Still have to get Luther out. The best from yesterday was I got my NJ Devils season ticket package. It is our 35 year. We got a nice pin. It is very nice. My first preseason game is Sept 18. Wow. Cant believe it but so glad.

Chris have fun at the shore. Glad things are going well with all the dogs.

Trudy have fun on your hike. It sounds so lovely!

Rae your new schedule seems to be perfect to fit in work along with all the reading, TV and scrapping and of course play time with Taz and maybe some time with your DH.

Jean hope you got your nap in. Saw that the Indians made it to 20 wins in a row. That is amazing!

Wow we are all busy and quickly dropping in to say :hello: I am getting ready for my hike, it should be a perfect day for it. Sunshine and mild temps, it will be good to be outside this morning! The pool was fun yesterday too I got in 20 laps and had a lane all to myself. Started a page for the Anna Colour challenge, but man I am having a hard time finishing it! What has happened to my love of scrapping??

Chris - If I know you, you will be adding one more puppy to your family permanently! LOL How do you afford the price of dog food girl?? Have fun at the shore my friend you deserve it!!

Nancy - Oh dear, I hope that your pre-cancerous areas are all taken care of. Yes we all abused our skin when we were younger! So is it moles that you had to have frozen? You should see my FIL's back, just full of them, but he refuses to do anything about them of course. Hooray for your Season Ticket Package!! It must be so exciting to open the box and see all those tickets!! Nice that you got a pin also! Perhaps one day you will visit the island and you can come on a hike with me??

Rae - that would be a good idea for you too if you like, to come over and do a hike with me, it would be a alternate option instead of doing Butchart Gardens. However no matter what time of year it is the Gardens are always spectacular!! Glad to hear that you are all caught up with your workload!! It sounds like your new schedule is working out well for you!

Jean - Hope you are all caught up with your sleep and were able to sleep in a bit later today

Ok I have to pack a lunch for the hike and my backpack all ready to go. Not sure if I should wear pants or shorts today?? Decisions, decisions LOL. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

I have to be quick too. This afternoon is the genealogy group at the senior center and this evening a few of us are gathering from the bird club to look at ways to go forward. I didn't get a nap yesterday, but it is so nice having faucets that work properly.

Chris, sure hope you are having a good time away!!

Nancy, thanks for the comments on the streaking Indians! It is starting to feel really special here, a little like 1995. DH and I go all the way back to their last World Series win in 1948, but I don't remember much. Having a hockey game in a few days seems incredible. How nice for you though.

Trudy, also hoping you have a lovely hike today and good weather.

Rae, sounds so nice that you are all caught up. We always admire your time management skills, but maybe you just got even better.

Wishing everyone a good day.

Good afternoon, ladies. The morning flew by. I took Taz to daycare, did some desk work and organized clothes. I put away all the summer shirts in the spare bedroom where I can still get at them if needed and put all my long sleeved shirts in the drawers. I am sorting clothes (again) and have a few more bags to go to charity. My clothes have never been so organized! I looked into fostering or adopting from the animal rescue but I just can't afford it right now (over $600-700 initially) so donated a bit of money and will have to satisfied with that. I think that is the best anyway. Although I would love another dog to join us, I'm really on the fence about it b/c Taz is such a happy well-adjusted dog that I would hate to usurp his place in our home and cause him any stress. I may change my mind later on down the road but for now I'll put it on hold. I talked to the daycare about it and they will keep my name in mind if anything comes up that would a good fit for us (they work with some of the rescue groups in BC).

Chris - hope you are having fun! Relax and enjoy yourself.

Trudy - enjoy your hike. The rain they forecasted here is cancelled and now we don't get any til Monday.

Nancy - how exciting to get your seasons pass. Glad your dermatologist is on top of things.

Jean - sounds like a good day for you and hope you have a productive meeting.

I'm going back to work now. Want to be sure to stay on top of things so my schedule isn't too demanding Thurs and Fri as Beckham is coming in the morning to stay with us until Sun night. He'll come out to the trailer with us for the wkend. Looking forward to it.

Have a great day everyone.
