It is one of those days... You ever have them? :becky:

So I guess it stared overnight when I slept restlessly and had strange and unsettling dreams. Then our internet was down again when I woke up and I am really, really hoping that it isn't a router issue cuz god knows we don't have money for a new one.
Tindamax is making me feel very crummy- depressed, dizzy, achy, and very sound sensitive. I am not in the mood to do anything. I was a *bad* mom when I told Caitlyn she should skip school so we could play with the dogs and rats instead today.
But she was strong and invited me to come to her school with her instead but I have to do errands in town and then clean for my neighbor. (Not that I really would have gone, heh)

So my day is to head out to the Food Pantry and the local thrift store. I need to look for a metal dog dish for the little one. She likes to chew on the side of hers which is an old ceramic one of Harley's (that is my babygirl whom I miss sooooo much) and if she breaks or chips it, I will be sad. I looked for one in store and they are $15 for a simple, plain dish. That is silly.

I am being totally sadistic to myself too since I am making the chicken/tofu meal tonight. I have the marinade all prepped in two bowls and will get the tofu and chicken cut up and in them as soon as I am done here. That will be a big step out of the way least.

ugh. My head is starting to hurt now too.:(

Have a fantastic day, I am going to focus on the beautiful blue sky and sunshine we have here.
xoxo

Nancy- I keep Gary around so he can clean up the mice that my cats kill in the house too. Good for your son to help you with that. (even if I don't like the ending, it is what it is!)
It was pouring like crazy here with thunder and lightning. Then it stopped abruptly. Cait called from school for my opinion on what route was the best for her to take home since it was raining like that by her. She is only 20 minutes away but the weather was completely opposite from here.

We took Whisky in for her weight check and she has gained 2 more pounds and is now almost 40 lbs!!

I can't scrap without the 2 monitors- I guess like anything, it takes a bit getting used to but I love being able to see my supplies on the one side and Photoshop on the other. You should play around with your DS's set up to see what you think. IMHO- you will love it.

Trudy- That is funny about FIL with his directions to your Gary. That must have been a really long day for MIL and I hope that she will be able to take it easy today.
A 2-hour service sounds brutal for anyone, let alone someone who had been in the hospital.
My second monitor is slightly off from my main one too. I should see if I can calibrate them somehow but I honestly can't be bothered. :p
Great news about Heather feeling better too.

Rae- that stinks that it was such an ordeal setting up the two monitors but was there any question that it would be a PITA? ha!! That is what I love best too, seeing all of the files in ACDSee and just dragging them on over to PS.

It is funny to hear you ladies talk about silicone molds for food- I use them for my soaps, lotion bars, and shower bombs.

How heartbreaking it must be to see Bailey struggle. Does she want to be on psych meds or see a P-Doc? At least her Dr is accepting that she might never be able to stop drinking. It is the same with Gary's cousin- although she has had a few DUIs but at least she isn;t dead from an OD. Felis had great words about demons... It is similar when Gary was so "crazy" for lack of a better word and I had to explain to my kids it was not "Dad" being that way but "Lyme Dad."

Felis- the vet went fine, Whisky got spoiled with lots of treats while she got weighed.
Do you have any advice on how to get a cat to stop peeing in the bathroom?? It started when our one cat had a urinary tract infection and peed in the tub. The other cat started doing the same as a territorial thing. Merlin is gone for 3 years now and Floyd is *still* peeing in the bathroom. Ugh!

Jean- your line about doing stuff but not remembering what it was- sounds like my days! Glad you were able to get to the Drs while driving a cute sporty car! Woo hoo!!
We are prepared with lots of rice to add to the dogs' diet if that end up with poop issues, one day down and so far so good.
I am not looking fwd to the cooler temps at all. But I can't complain since we got an extra month of warmth. I just wish it would stay!

good morning - yesterday was so strange weatherwise I made it my hair appt and I left and made it home just seconds before the rain started pouring down. There was a lot of wind too but by late afternoon the sky was clearing and I got Luther out for a second walk. Made a great pork chop dinner with faro and kale. And I made a fig compote. LOL It was really good and the perfect sweetness to add to the dinner. Makes me laugh to realize I did that. Watched the world series and thought it was awesome that the first Dodger batter hit a home run. It was the fastest game in just 2 hrs 38 min since 1992. That in itself was awesome. Today is a stay home day and just relax day but still have laundry to do.

Chris sorry the day was so strange and hope the tindamax effects go away fast. Maybe the sun will make today a better day. That is a real pain to have the cat forget where the litter box is.

Felis thanks for the thoughts on my kitty - I have no idea how the mouse got to the second floor and my kitty never goes down to the first floor now we have the dog. Shadow never goes outside to bring in a mouse so I am at a total loss as to how he came to be. My DH thinks he probably came into the attic via holes from the squirrels and then down stairs. What ever is weird!

Trudy wow that was a long day. My son usually drives his Inlaws and his FIL is always telling him how to drive and it drives him crazy. His reply is just like your DH's and goes his own way. Hope the lap swim went well and so glad that Heather is doing so much better.

Rae electronics are awesome but getting them to talk to each other is always the hard part. There should be a common language but that would be too easy. Glad it is working now! Have you thought of blue tooth speakers, my son got those and they are really awesome and can be moved anywhere.

Jean the car sounds awesome! Love red and sporty! Glad that your DR. appt finally happened.

Have a great day all!

Good morning O-zies! Dark outside still this morning, I hate that it is so black at 7am! Don't think I am going to do my hike today, it is one that we have done before and its not all that great of a hike. Sounds like rain this morning when its time to go also, so I think I will just stay home and work on my calendars and clean my floors. (doesn't that sound like fun??)
Yesterday I had a nice long FaceTime with DD and Hunter, sad that I don't get to talk to Mason as much anymore  but at least I get to see one of the boys. DD is finally starting to feel much better and is managing to get her little house cleaned up and doing some other housework. It was driving her crazy that her place was such a mess! Jonah was great for making Mason's lunches for school and making supper etc. But not so great at cleaning. Oh well the housework never goes anywhere and it was more important that she got her rest! Went swimming and the pool was pretty quiet, I enjoyed it very much! Worked a bit on a calendar page and hope to get a couple more finished today!

Chris - I hate that you suffer so much when on Tindamax, hopefully you will not have to be this way for long! You are being mean to yourself for making the Chicken Tofu dinner tonight LOL, and grocery shopping too!! Hope that your cleaning goes well and at least the sun shining for you today! I have tried to calibrate my 2nd monitor and it is better than it used to be but not the quality of my iMac monitor. But I am used to it now and love to have it for my scrapping supplies while Photoshop is on my iMac! Sometime though the colours are way off from what I am wanting

Nancy - Good timing to get home just before the heavy rain started, I bet you enjoyed getting your hair done! Sounds like you had another awesome dinner, I have never heard of a fig compote?? I bet it was wonderful! Isn't it funny that the mouse got into your house when your kitty never gets outside, I bet she thought it was a fun game to be chasing that mouse around, a bit of excitement for an indoor cat!! :becky:

Rae - Isn't it frustrating when things do not go smoothly when hooking up our electronics! DH is using our old TV from the kitchen for his computer monitor now, it has an awesome picture and is much bigger than his old monitor, but he can't get the built in speakers to work :frusty: He just needs a different cord for it, but it will have to wait until the weekend to get it. Hope that you get all caught up with your work today, and that you have some time to have fun with your new monitor!

Feels - Hope that you had a great sleep last night and that you had a good day filled with playing with all of your kitties and dogs!

Jean - Your new car sounds fun! How great to be driving a sporty red new vehicle! Glad that you finally got to the dr. appt. You sound like you are all set for the flu season and up to date with your pneumonia shots!! I hope that you enjoyed the ball game!

Ok my friends I need my second coffee and check my email and then get started on my calendar again. I would really love to do some other scrapping too, but it seems there is always something else that needs to get done first. I need to get more organized! Have a great day ladies!!

Good morning ladies. Dropped Taz off at daycare then came back to sit down and google about my 4k monitor. Turns out that Adobe (PS) isn't set up to use with a large 4K screen resolution so the toolbars and layers panel are too small, making it really difficult to read them. So when scrapping, I'll have to lower the screen resolution. At least I understand what is happening now and it only takes a few seconds to change it back and forth. Other than that, it is awesome. I am very happy with 2 monitors. I'll be getting new speakers sometime over the next week.

I finished watching Talking Dead last night (the after show to TWD) and it was great to see all the cast and listen to them talk about the show. My fave was when Jeffrey Morgan came out as I'm such a fan girl of his! The Brick is supposed to be coming out to fix D's chair or they will replace it. I can't believe such an expensive chair is falling apart just months after buying it. They haven't called to confirm a time today so I'm wondering if I got the wrong date LOL. Maybe it's next Wed they are coming. I wouldn't be surprised at my brain fart LOL. I popped into VV yesterday morning and picked up a couple of nice sweaters and a fleecy jacket and got to use my seniors discount for the first time :) The cashiers all came over and congratulated me and said I sure looked great for 60, especially with the weight loss :) That just made my day. I met another woman while browsing and we chatted for awhile. She said I really inspired her, listening to my keto story. If we're both there next week we'll chat some more. Who would have thought that shopping at VV would be so much fun.

Chris - sorry to hear your symptoms from the meds. How frustrating for you to have to go thru this. I hope you get thru the day ok and can relax later.

Trudy - in this morning rain, staying home from your hike sounds like a good idea. Glad that H is feeling better and yes, the housework will always be there, I wouldn't rush to do it if I were her.

Nancy - sounds like a great evening of sports and food!

I'm grabbing a coffee and getting to work. Have a wonderful day, everyone.

It's rain from 3 days. To listen the raindrops at the night is like lullaby.
But after all the wildfires, now are started floods. Looks like Nature tries to clean up her face from the humans. This happens at the other end of the country, so we just pray that the situation will being mastered fast.
At same time here is quiet and mud. Much muddy. The wind blows the leaves from the trees still green. I don't clean the leaves before the spring. They belongs to the Nature and she have a plan why they have to stay at the ground at the winter. This put me in cycle of disputes, with the others of my family, to not move them when I don't watch. Not just this but when I was out, they was start to trim one of the bushes, which I left because I want to be bigger. I try to show my grateful for their help for so many things. But really really hate to discuss the same topics thousand times because they "just want to help with that". Last year was one branch of the tree, now wants whole tree, before to have new one. What's mean they are old?! That's the charm of the Nature, to become old and bigger. I hate the modern minimalist yard style! However, I think that for now rain save me from that :rain: .

Chris, I sorry to hear that meds makes you feel this way! Hope they are right when say that it's darkest before the dawn! How long you have to take him?!
WOW $15 for a metal dog dish, that sounds ridiculous to me. Did you see at at the dollar store or at Ikea?! Here we had different size metal dish not for dogs but can works.
Let see about the Floyd. You have to catch him till do that an say seriously ''NO! Don't do that!'' or what you call usually when you train him. Do this a few times till he stop, because he maybe even don't understand that this is unacceptable behavior. Also some of the chemicals in the cleansing products can confuse the cats because smells like a pee, so try with another brand. And one trick that I do is (after clean up) to boil into a large saucepan 3-5 bags Mint tea and when it's not too hot for my hands I put the juice of one lemon and wash again the place with that tea. No sugar in!

Nancy, enjoy your a stay home day! Can we expect one Lo with the new hair?!

Trudy, so good that your daughter feels better! Isn't a mess everywhere when have a children? You really shouldn't raise the question about the house arrangement. :dizzy: Take fun at the pool!

Rae, you are shopping queen! They are right, you definitely looks younger. I saw your photos in Instagram with your 2 daughters and you are so sweet together! So this shop have some seniors discount, this sounds great! I'm wondering it's only in this store or is usual for Canada?!

Jean, yes I was misunderstood you for the car. Then take a fun with the extras of the new one! Looks like your husband is took good decision.

Hope you have a lovely sunny day and will used it for fun or to to prepare yards and houses for the winter :becky:!
