hey hey! It is Wednesday! And another rainy one here in NJ. Who else is achy from the rain? Me!!! I am!!

I think I caught everyone up yesterday on my lovely day, so I will not bore you again. I do have to ask your to ignore and/or forgive me if (when) I start to get riled up about Lyme and politics and Lyme-Politics.:yell: As you all can tell, I am very passionate about both topics and I sometimes say more than I should in "polite company."

I am working today and after that, I really want to do some blogging. I am so horribly hit or miss with it, and maybe I need that as an outlet?

Yup, we have the same saying here, and I hope that after t=your hard times, that ends for a long long time.
Luck and love to you and John. Just the fact that he likes the therapist is huge- Scott is that way with teachers, and while it doesn't help him inthe "real world" learning to work with people you don't like. ATM-- its better to have them just be happy, YKWIM?

Phyllis- ITA!! Who is to say what another person is experiencing is "real" grrr! Good for yuou for speaking out as well. I think that is one reason why I am so vocal about Lyme, to get the word out, to show people that it can affect you in so many ways. Having all 4 of us infected and recovering at different rates is both enlightening (yes-- it is disabling) and hopeful (yes, my kids are in remission!).

Did you ever get your house cleaning done? I have to squeeze some in today either before or after work.... blech

Where did Linda S go? I could have swore that I saw her for a split second? Hiii Linda!!!!!!

it's supposed to be OK here today, weather-wise. but, yeah. this is the time of year when i feel like i've been run over by a garbage truck. the good-to-bad weather changes are BAAADDD. wonder why it doesn't work that way in reverse? bad-to-good doesn't bother me.

Chris, when i had a blog, it was a GREAT outlet for all the stuff that was going on in my head. it's was great to put all my political rants there. i always did, and it felt SOOOO good! the Lyme rants are great here, because we all can relate. politics are so divisive these days (and rightly so, i think,) that a person never knows whose feelings or sensibilities they're hurting.

i didn't even get out of the house yesterday. boy, is my house CLEAN! i'm having what passes for FUN in my life, playing with my MINT floor cleaner. i have to make a page about this little thing. it's not fabulous, but it's doing something that I now don't have to do.

nothing much on for today, either. we're having Mediterranean leftovers for dinner, so i don't have to COOK!!! YAAAY!! then gotta go buy some cat litter at WalMart. then a fast run through the "junk aisles" at TJ MAXX. then trying to squeeze a page out of my brain. then try to repair some grout in my kitchen. THAT should be interesting....

have a great OTHD! it's all downhill from here! :twitch:

Morning my O fam! I just finished my work out and have to run to get ready to leave- I am trading cars so they can figure out why my dash lights do not work as they should and I have to have my TB test from monday read and then start my busy work day. I didn't feel the weather like you guys did, but was rather sleep yesterday pm. Today not so much. I know our weather will be clearing. Tonight-I will have energy to clean the house- the guys are coming to install the countertop in the basement. I can only begin to imagine how it will change the way it looks- I feel the home stretch of remodel coming on!

Getting ready to go for my morning walk then I have tons to do. Need to get my stuff together for the ladies retreat I am working Thurs-Sunday.

We have a 50th wedding anniversary dinner to go to tonight. Bummed that this is on our golf night! To top it off--the guy is a golfer. Crai said "he would understand if we didn't show up unitl late." Nope--I think it is rude--we will miss golf.

Running back through on the way to the breakfast table. Came home with kids for 30 minutes last night...long enough to eat tuna noodle alfredo...and then out again to soccer practice and soccer board meeting. Walked back in the house at 8...just enough time to do homework. Cleaned up the tornado in the kitchen from supper and fell into bed. Now climbing out of bed...with the thought that tonight should be a low homework night and no need to leave the house!!! So excited!!!

Good Morning Ladies... Another sunny day, or at least it will be when the sun comes up LOL its pitch black here this morning. Ughh ! I want the summer back :sad: Off to work today for a full 8hr. shift, but the only one that I have this week, then not sure what I will be working next week?? What a crazy place I work at, they can't even make up a schedule for two weeks in advance. My supervisor has been on stress leave for the past month and came back to work just as I left for holidays, I got back and she is gone on stress leave again. Shows you what an Ass@$#! our Manager is!! Still got my eye out for a new job, but if my shifts are only a couple days a week, then I suppose I can handle that :becky:
My son is flying home to the Island today for a one day course at the Base and then will be coming to stay with us until the 9th !!!!!! We are so happy to have him to ourselves for the next few days :dance: Wish the others could be here too, this Grandma is missing her babies!!!!

Chris - I was so happy to hear about the great day you had with your Mom shopping! She sounds like a wonderful woman! You are so lucky to have her for your Mom!!! You can rant all you like about lyme here, we are your sounding board and are always here for you! After all you have to listen to us bit%@ and complain too!!

Phylis - I can't wait to see your layout about your MINT cleaner!! Perhaps thats the layout you can squeeze out of your brain today :becky: Have fun shopping!! Wish I could go with ya!!

Laurie - You amaze me, you are so dedicated to your walking or working out! Wish I could do the same, I am really hoping to now that I will not be working so much. Guess when the weather changes I will have to fire up the old treadmill again.

LindaS - Whew after your day yesterday, it will be a good rest for you to just stay home tonight! You make me tired !!! :sleep: Not sure how you keep up??? :hail:

TerryB - too bad you have to miss your golfing date!! I wish my hubby would start up golfing again, it would be such great exercise for the two of us, but it is so expensive and he thinks its a waste of a good walk.LOL. He's a really good golfer too, its too bad, me on the other hand I suck at it but I think its fun!!

Well better get the oatmeal started, hubby is off to Naniamo today for a short course for his new job. He is hoping that this new work will make him the new improved, less stressed out Gary!! Here's hoping!!!! Have a great one!! :wave:

That's a fantastic feel! When I had the c-section, they made something wrong with the aneastesia (sp?). This made me get a TERRIBLE headache - it was like wearing a 3000 lb hat or something . anyway - the cure was to get caffeine via IV. Geeeeee - the rush! I tried to convince them I needed to get this on a regular basis for the rest of my life.

I sure could use it today - I'm tired today. Feels like I'm getting a cold. Which I don't have time for so ... cognac anyone?

EVA POUR ME THE BIGGEST GLASS OF WHATEVER THAT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a rotten freakin day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went for lunch at my sister's house with my other SIL and her daughter got severly burnt on the fireplace so I rushed her to the ER and Thank goodness her face will be ok but they think 3rd degree burns on her hands poor little peanut!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my word, what a scare my heart is still racing. then on the way home we see a accident with ppl laying on the road and now I just get a call from Dr.s office saying I tested positive for Gestational diabetes and I NEED A STIFF DRINK IM SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, Jen! well, hang in there and take good care. Diabetes is a pain in the A##. you have to always be paying attention to it. take it from one who knows.... gestational will go away, though, right? you can look forward to THAT!

Oh yes pyliss it goes away I hope!!!!!! This is my third time with it and right now I'm on a suar high eating all kinds of things I normally never eat. Like skittles and junk. Heehee Ill behave myself tommorow lol
