I have gotten more done in the last week than I have in the last few months combines. And let me tell you, my body and brain are feelin' it.
Yesterday: Went food shopping/pharmacy. Spoke to my mom/brother (who was released from the hospital yesterday although at one point they thought they were going to hold him another night). Spoke/texted with Gary's cousin who is in a bad custody battle with her ex and she needed me to write a letter for her to present to the FamilyCourt about the time that Caitlyn babysat Nathan here.Wrapped and labeled bath bombs. Took photos of them, posted online. Paid bills and tried not to freak out. Cleaned up three pee accidents by Whisky- even though I took her outside so many times. Two loads of laundry.
By the time I was cooking dinner, the phone kept ringing, the doorbell rang, the dogs needed dinner and I was attempting to fix the last batch of shower steamers that crumbled on me.

AND--- I did this all on Tindamax!!!!!!! Thank all of the Gods/esses for me not ripping someone's head off.

I have to get my act together today. I need a plan of action. ;) I am cleaning for my friend, then when I get home I want to get into the attic to look for a few holiday decorations for Sunday, plus a few to put outside. Then I think I am going to put away all of my F-W's supplies because if I leave them out, I will be tempted to make "one more thing."

I really want some time to chill and scrap today. I think I really need it. (And I deserve it, don't I?

Whisky is whining to get out of her crate, back in a few to do personals!

xoxo

Nancy- it was really cold up here when I took the dogs outside but by the time that I left shop rite, it was not bad at all. Looks the same today which means I really need to work on getting some decorations up outside. I have no idea how an Uber would work either but good for you to use it. How was the VIP treatment? Great pics?

Trudy- I have an easier time with stocking stuffers than anything else at this point. I have a bunch of things bought/ideas for Cait but the rest of my family/friends- not a clue! Hope that your trip was very successful.
OH wow!!!!! The Nativity is just amazing!!!! what a great job you did!!!! LOVE!!!

Rae- Last year you got really sick after your vax IIRC. Hopefully this new healthy you will not have that happen again.
I wish that your job load would be slow and steady not crazy and then nothing. But you always make it work.
I know! Rats are the best!! wait until you guys see the pics that I want to scrap of them. After they each had they surgeries, they needed meds and imagine what it is like trying to squeeze a mL of meds into a rat's mouth. *eye roll* Cait used those squeeze pouches of baby food, mixed the meds into that on a spoon and they lap it up. Once she was done with the meds, she let them eat the rest of it. They would hold onto the pouch with their hands and lick it out from the nozzle-- they look like little babies with a bottle.
Freaking adorable!

Jean- 62*! woah! That is great. No, I know-- it isn't great the Earth but nice for me and my hatred of cold. ;)
How fun to get the DNA kits for your family. My SIL asked if Gary might want one, but since his parents each had theirs done, it didn't make sense. So proud of how much you have accomplished already with your history, such a treasure!

Hello ladies,
here is Winter Wonderland day, but sun is shining so no for long.
I was started to typo yesterday, but unexpected situation don't left me time. So

Trudy, your Nativity is absolutely gorgeous! They are so so pretty! But where is the donkey, which Mary is rode to Bethlehem? In the crafts shops have colored sand for decoration. Also with paint for cake you can colored salt and make it to looks like it. Good luck with stocking stuffers today!

Nancy, it's always little bit frighteningly when try something new, but I hope it's also exciting for you! Oh, ouch, for the yesterday's game! But next time better! This meeting that the VIP tickets gives to you sounds very cool!

Rae, so bad about your headache! Hope you are right and feel better tomorrow! Even when you are so busy you still shop how lovely to have a little pleasure from among of this stress. I still looks for a winter coat, but I couldn't find some which looks like lady, not to like eskimos. I'm tiny and most are too long for me, so will look online.

Jean, this with the DNA kits sounds intrigues, except in cases that your family have some secret that prefer to keep :becky: . Hehe I don't clean leaves before the spring, you can see at my LO. Oh, I'll put 2 weekly pages at the weekend, because I'm so late with all scraps plan.

Chris you are one busy bee/faery, you should be proud with yourself! Hope desember is more festive and easy for you! This for Gary's cousin is so bad, always is difficult to deal when one dream falls apart. Hope the for your friend cleaning is not too hard, and you can get your so deserved ''me time'' after that! Isn't your brother too soon released from the hospital?! Hope he is much better!
The story about the rats playing is totally adorable! Oh I definitely want to see these pics for scrap of them!

Hope you all have sunny and happy day!

good morning - the sun is shining the temps are climbing such that it make get up near 60. WOW this is so warm for late November. So yesterday was such a fun day. The Uber was to pick me up at 4pm and they sent me emails to tell me they were coming so I could watch on the app. Well he called and said he was in front of my house and I said nope you are not as I am standing in front of my house and you are not here. Took a few minutes to get him to my house LOL. But he did and he was so nice. He panicked at one point as the road said to Manhattan and he did not think he was going there. So funny the road to Weehauken if you don't take that exit you hit the Lincoln tunnel and do go to Manhattan but I explained and he was ok. So I get to the end and my son told me go through the glass doors. Well I do not see any glass doors only the Hoolihans restaurant. So I call my son and say I am across from the Empire State building and the restaurant. He panics and thinks I am in NYC. But his work place in on the Hudson River and so I could see the Empire State Building all lit up. Gorgeous! So he came out and rescued me and we laughed! We then Ubered to Hoboken to where the party was and had to wait in line (we were first LOL) for about 30 min but luckily it was not cold. One of the Movember reps stop to talk and I mentioned I loved his pin (shaped with a mustache) and he gave it to me. How cool. Well we had the best time. There were 8 Devils hockey players. They were so fun and easy to talk to and I asked questions and got some great answers. The fun part was watching my son. There was single young girl behind us in line who was really nice. So she and my son hung out and I tried not to be around them too much. So he did get her number. The food was great and an open bar which my son used. In fact none under 21 was allowed so the youngest Devils players could not attend LOL. One person donated $5000 dollars to shave Adam Henrique's mustache. Amazing. I also met the women one who covers the Devils and the host of the NHL Now show. I love that women have these jobs which I would have tried for had that been an option in my younger days. So we had from 6:30 until 7:30 as VIPs and then others were allowed in but they could not come to where we were. It was so worth the extra money. My son was happy and so was I. We Ubered back to Weehauken and got his car and drove home. All I can say is Uber is really cool. Now today I have to scrap and get this down. Going out to dinner tonight with my girlfriend to Paneras so that will be a fun night. My team does not play until Friday and the next 3 games are away.

Chris that is awesome how much you are getting done! Proud of you! And yes you deserve some rest time today. Sorry that Whisky is still having accidents. That cannot be fun!

Trudy that Nativity is so cute! You did a fantastic job you are super creative! Stocking Stuffers are my favorite stuff. Good luck shopping!

Rea wow you got shopping done and working! Glad it is a little less stressful today! Enjoy!

Jean I am not surprise it is taking a bit longer to do the research as I am sure something new is always popping up to make you go in another direction. Have fun!

Felis waving hi and hope your day with snow is fun!

have a great day all!

Good Morning ladies... I should be getting ready for my hike today, but I think that I will be staying home and getting some baking done and perhaps even get a Lasagna made to put into the freezer. Lots of wrapping of presents to do also and I still am not finished with my craft room either. I think that I have to buckle down and do these things as we have been asked if we would make the trip to Courtney where our son lives and watch the kids for the weekend while Jason and Jackie attend all of their Christmas Parties. So of course we jumped at the chance, it should be a fun weekend! But that means two less days to get ready for Christmas and DH has lots that he needs to finish doing and hard to do it all when you only have 2 days off to get it all done. So I will try to get it as much ready as I can while I can. Yesterdays shopping went fairly well I picked up a few things, but still need to do a few more stocking stuffers and get the rest of my calendars printed out for the kids. I will pick up the one for the In-Laws today and get that gift wrapped hopefully too. So a busy day again for me. Thanks ladies for the nice compliments on my Nativity, it was nice to do a bit of painting again, even if it wasn't on canvas LOL.

Chris - Yes my dear you do deserve a break today! Get that faerywings products put away and just relax and enjoy the day (well after you clean for your friend). Glad to hear that your brother is out of the hospital! Hopefully he will not have to return! To think you did all of that work while on Tindamax !! Good for you for keeping your cool! I can't wait to see your pages about those cute little rats, they are so fun to watch! My brother used to have white rats when he was young they are a lot of fun!

Felis - I never even thought of the Donkey that Mary was supposed to have ridden on. Funny that the pattern I used only had the Camels and no Donkey?? Oh well perhaps one day I will find one, but not right now I am too busy LOL. I have some of that sand here for the kids to play with, but I didn't want to use it for my Nativity for fear of them taking it to play with and getting it everywhere :becky: I will find something hopefully. It sounds like the sun on the snow would be very beautiful! Good luck with your search for a lovely winter coat, I hope you find one to fit!

Nancy - What fun you had!! Taking Uber is something that my son did a lot of while he was travelling, he really liked it! A great day spent with your son, what could be better than that! Nice that he met a lovely young woman also, perhaps they will get together soon. You must have felt like a Big Shot being able to do all of those special things with the Devils players, what a perfect time for you! Yes you would have been perfect for the job of reporter for the Devils, it would have been your dream job I am sure! Another great day for you again today with going for dinner with your friend and I look forward to seeing your pages about your wonderful day with your son!

Rae - Ughh on the headache after your flu shot, I should see if I can get one today when I am at the Save On grocery store, they have drop in flu shots all week. You are so very busy with your work, not sure how you find time to still do your great shopping adventures! Sending you lots of positive thoughts today to get your work accomplished so you can have some time to scrap!

Jean - Wow what nice temps you are having! Love your gift of the DNA kits! I think that would be so fun to get! Hopefully you are having fun with all of your research with our family history! Enjoy the day!

Ok I am hitting the shower then off to the grocery store to get what I need to start cooking and baking. Got my bills paid and had a FaceTime call with Heather and Hunter all before 9am. Hopefully I can stay focused enough to get everything done today and then maybe, just maybe I will be able to scrap a bit soon! Have a lovely day everyone

Cooler but sunny today. DH did his bird survey this am. I finished what will be part 2 of the book last night. I emailed it to a friend who reviews my writing and DH will read it later. Now I've got part 1 started and hope it will be easier. I am starting with his grandmother coming to America. Then photos and document images, then about her relatives with images of postcards and envelopes from them. Part 2 is her father's ancestry and I'm adding an appendix with two articles I've published basically on her cousin who came to the area earlier and was the grandmother's reason for coming to Cleveland from Tennessee. Each part has a chart showing relationships. Hope it is all going to make sense and be interesting too. And get done in time!!!

Chris, you have been incredibly productive. And on Tindamax? OMGoodness! Hope you do relax and scrap after cleaning. Hope your brother continues to improve. And let's hope your interruptions are fewer today.

Felis, I can imagine how pretty with sun on snow - but please, keep it to yourself! I don't want it. Well, it does make photos prettier, and I like that. Sorry it is hard to find a good fit in a winter coat. Good luck with it. Yes, online may have better selection.

Nancy, what a fun and exciting evening. Yes, you would have been an excellent hockey commentator or reporter. Today it is really becoming possible for women in all the sports to have a part. Have fun going out again tonight.

Trudy, you are one busy Santa's elf. Sorry you'll miss the hike, but if it's in exchange for a weekend with grands, it'll be worth it. Curious thought about the donkey. I only think of it in terms of them going to Bethlehem, not after the birth. Just imagine it in its stall out of sight. For sand, what about a towel or carpet sample? Hope you get the flu shot.

Rae, hope you are feeling OK and plowing through that work load.

Good morning, ladies. Had another crazy day of work yesterday but got all caught up and now back to my normal (busy) schedule. Whew. Taz is at daycare, I've got laundry in, have gotten a bit of desk work done and am taking a break for a few minutes.

I can actually scrap a bit later today....yay. I need it. I miss it.

Chris - yes, take a breather. You deserve a rest. Can't wait to see your rat pages soon.

Felis - I wish you were here, I would find a great coat for you :) My daughter saw one of my newest coats a few days ago and said she didn't remember giving me her coat from last year, it was one of her faves and even though a bit big for her now (she's lost a few lbs this year), she thought she had decided to keep it, not give it to me. I laughed and said no, it was a $15 purchase from VV and then she looked closer and saw it was slightly different than her jacket LOL. I am sending you some of my good clothing karma vibes to help you find a coat.

Nancy - sounds like a wonderful time and how cool to get the pin from that fellow.

Trudy - I need to plan my baking and get a few meals made up too. We always seem to eat out a lot during the holiday season and I am determined not to do that this year. I need to plan ahead. How nice to get the wkend with the kids.

I'm getting back to work for a bit before taking another break around lunch time. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
