:sorry: I have been pretty MIA lately. Busy last week or so. At least the one good thing is that I am finally starting to not feel as exhausted as I had been. Baby steps forward, yay!!

It was a long day yesterday but we got good news from the Lyme dr. He is considering for both kids to be in remission. They have had minimal symptoms for the last several months and he is reducing the abx they are on to only 2 weeks out of the month. We go back in three months, before school starts up and we are keeping our fingers crossed to no relapses.

I am off to work today and I hope this afternoon I can scrap a bit. My SIL sent me some cute pics of my godson and i have some nice nature pics from our hike. I also have a few things I need to do to prep for Relay- finish our luminarias and then I need to print a photo of me and my fam for the Survivors (ugh, that word!) Tent.

I hope to catch up with all of you, I have missed you!

Nancy- welcome back home! That is wonderful to hear that you had such a nice trip. Have you had a chance to scrap any of the photos yet? Make sure you link us up when you do.
Normally, there is never, ever traffic going to or from my mom's PA house. But they are doing construction finally (highway would have bounced a baby loose if your were pg! :pound:) so between the lane closure and accident it got all back up. Yesterday, trying to get out of town, 2 roads were closed, and I got stuck in all of the traffic that had to be detoured out of town. After 4 more hours in the car yesterday I think I might want to walk to work today!

Laurie- ooooh, your vacation sounds wonderful! You deserve all of that pampering Hope you got to the beach!

Sara. so funny about the beds! Gary is 5'11" and has horrible restless leg syndrome where he has to twitch and crack his joints all of the time. Me- I am 4'11" and have crazy insomnia. He is always hot, I am always cold.I am liking your idea of two beds pushed together! Hope you were able to get your air fixed. We have window units and Gary's hasn't been up to getting them down from the attic. It doesn't bother me for the most part, at least not yet, but I know it is hard on him.

Jane, how awesome!!! That is so cool that Les is doing that. For someone Geographically-Canadian-Challenged, how far is that? Is he going with a group or on his own? Keep s posted on his progress! And calming thoughts to you, I know I would be nervous as well.

Hi Ms Phyllis! How are you doing? Scott actually did great amazing. I thought I was going to be white-knuckling it the entire ride but it was actually pretty relaxed. I only had to hit the "passenger side brake" once!! LOL
You are still having to sleep in the recliner? :( The one good thing about me going to PA and leaving Gary home is that he can sleep in the bed and not worry about waking or kicking me. He still twitches but only has to worry about kicking Ravyn, our dog, who sleeps through anything, including bears rummaging around on our front porch.
The weather was beautiful, wasn't it? Back to dreary and rainy today, but I enjoyed the sun and warmth while it was here.

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Morning O-zies!! It is strange being in here this early, I still am on Vancouver time, but slowly adjusting to Ontario time. Had a fun day yesterday shopping in Stratford with Heather and Mason. Today it is Jonah's birthday and I have to go and pick up the cake downtown later on. He loves ice cream cake, otherwise I would have just made one for him. Heather is taking him out for supper tonight so this Grandma gets to babysit and give the little man his bath and put him to bed. He is just the best baby!! He hardly ever cries and is happy most of the time. It was very hot here yesterday, but so far the humidity has not been too bad, but I am sure that will change soon.

Chris - glad to hear that you are feeling stronger! What wonderful news from the Lyme Dr. !! Hope I get a chance to see your pages soon, have not had to much spare time to do any commenting in the gallery, but hope to try soon!

Hello to the rest of you here, :sorry: that I have not been doing much for personals, but trying to concentrate on just soaking up all the cuddle time and helping out as much as possible. Lots of cleaning and getting rid of things that are not necessary in this very small house. Everyone seems happy, so that is the main thing! Hoping to get our flights back to B.C. booked sometime soon. I miss my beautiful B.C.!! but I will miss my daughter and her sweet family when this summer is over!! Hope you are all doing well and will try to pop in again soon!

Trudy, i LOOOOOOOVED that photo of you and Mason on Facebook!! totally adorable. well, yes. the "east" is not nearly as nice as BC. i think almost the entire eastern part of this continent is pretty boring, geographically. i've always said that i have to travel a thousand miles to see anything that looks very different from where i live!

Chris, GOOD NEWS about the remission! do the kids feel different/better? i guess cutting down on the pills will be a good thing. glad to hear that you're not feeling as tired anymore. do you have some check-ups pending? are they saying that the fatigue is to be expected?

well. i just had a hair-raising experience. :scared: as i was cleaning the car, pre-vacation, i noticed that the sticker on my license plate is expired. i discovered Hubby forgot to send in the registration renewal, so i've been driving around with an expired car reg since April. this is one instance when i am really glad for online services. the DMV website was fast and efficient and SOOO much less annoying than the bricks and mortar DMV experience. i was able to print out a temp reg that is good for 2 weeks while my mailed-in reg is being processed. whew! too much excitement this early in the day.

well, onward to more car/house-related cleaning and organizing. have a Happy Wednesday! :becky:

Good morning - it was still warm and I am loving it. I got in good walks yesterday as today has turned chilly. I will still walk today but it was nice yesterday. I have now organized my photos from my trip and will start scrapping to put together enough pages for a book. Watching hockey again has been great. I missed it while on vacation. Got really good news from my oldest son. They put in a bid on a house which was accepted and the closing should be mid-July. The best news is they have moved about 15 min from us. Not in the same town but the next town over. He is so happy as most of their friends live down here. I am thinking that now when I need my car worked on I can just drop it off at his house and he can drive it up and back. Making it really easy for me. Any way I am very excited!

Chris I am so glad to hear you are regaining your strength. And wow really awesome news about the kids and remission. Even though my son has been driving for years I still sometimes press that brake.

Trudy I was so surprised when I stopped at an OnRoute (I say rest stop) that there were practically no other licenses from any other Province but then I learned that Ontario is the most populated.

Phylis I have to say that being able to renew car registration on line is the best. NJ did away with tags on our plates so you just have to pay attention.

Sara I love the idea of two beds.

Laurie glad to hear you are having a great vacation!

Have a great day all!

Sooo tired today. I worked, then took Ben on an adventure (because he was so good while I was working), then had a group meeting for class. I have work to do.

No air still. Got a fourth quote today, but weren't impressed with them. Matt spent most of the day haggling with the guy from the company we liked. He got them to honor an ad the web guys forgot to take down after last month (awfully late for that!). So I think we will save $1000, but it's different equipment. No one can tell us if one is really better than the other. I think it's really a crap shoot. Everyone has different opinions and says different things and we have no idea who to really believe. But either way, we pay for the maintenance plan and they fix anything that goes wrong for ten years. Plus there is a 1 (or 2?) year satisfaction guarantee. So...hopefully, we will be getting that all lined up tomorrow. He said he might be able to help us get a couple of portable air conditioners if we have to wait a week.

Go Chris!!! Way to go on not feeling a tad tired. :) I am so glad for the kids too. Good news!! Today was hot. 90 or so. So that made it hot in the house, but it's decent in the basement, so we are all piled down here. I wouldn't mind some rain though.

Trudy - HI!! Enjoy the fun!! And do spend more time on the family!! That's more important!

Phylis - We used the online this year to renew our plates and I think the stickers were here in two days!! It was so fast! Glad you didn't get a ticket from a grumpy policeman!

Yay Nancy! Glad for you for your trip, walks, son's house, etc!!!

Ok. I'm off to do work for class. I have to find my Gallup Strengths. *sigh* $10 more down the drain!
