hello O-Fam! Ready to breathe?
Close your eyes and relax your shoulders, jaw, wiggle your head gently to loosen up your neck. Take a nice, deep breath in, hold for a second or two. And slowly release, letting all of the tension out of your body. Take another deep breath in, hold-- let it all out slowly. Let go of any bits of tension in your shoulders.

Much of my day was spent watching Tat-- she is doing so much better!! What a difference! The day before, she wasn't cleaning herself, any little baths were very much half-hearted. Even her tail was grubby and she never, ever lets that happen. She wasn't washing the porphyrin from here eyes/nose. She looked limp and slack. Yesterday she was almost herself. She was able to hold her food while she was eating it. She was lifting her head and able to look around. Her eyes were fully open and had the sparkle back. And her tail and fur were shiny and clean. Caitlyn and I were so happy! She called the vet to thank them.
Scott had a great time with Leah, in fact she is coming up here tomorrow for his birthday. I am so happy that this extended bubble seems to be working. her Graduation was supposed to be tomorrow so it will be a double celebration here.

We had a fun discussion at dinner, the 4 of us. Poor Gary had a Tiindamax (abx from hell!) headache and I felt his pain in memory. Remember how brutal those would get for me? I do not miss them at all. Nope.

Scott told us his grades-- 3 Bs and an A-!! Whoo-hoo!!! Both of them did so well, in spite of the semester being so difficult. They both worked really hard, several of their friends decided to take the Pass-Fail option as soon as it was offered and basically gave up. Both kids plan on auditing classes when the school is back open. I am so happy that they enjoy learning, I love it too and it makes me happy that their minds never really stop working.
They said that I did a great job as a mom when they were little. Of course, this had to be tempered with them recounting all of the times I was *not* a good mom-- like when I wouldn't buy them Flomo (some As Seen on TV scam) or made them eat Stroganoff for dinner. heh.

We picked this week's theme-- Alien Night. I think we are going to watch Avatar. We looked to see if Mars Attacks was streaming anywhere but it isn't. I have to see what food I can come up with. I know that I made round spaceship sandwiches when they were kids and we watched Scooby Do and the Aliens. Other than that, no ideas yet!

Today I have tons of desk work to do. Bills and banking. Finish the ShopRite order which means I have to clean out the fridge/pantry first. And I have to make cards for Leah and BFFs birthday.

HAGD!!! I hope that the sun is shining wherever you are!

Nancy- did you get bad winds last night? It was breezy but not windy at all. The sun is out right now, looks to be a pretty day. Hamburgers, man I do miss a good grilled burger.
My BFF and God-DD adore FGL and have seen them who knows how many times. I wonder if they watched Songland, I bet they did.
It is so funny how many dogs there are, right? Cait and I joke that we recognize the dogs better than the owners. And if we don't know the dogs' names, we give them nicknames-- Fluffy Tail and Curly Friend. I am so glad that Luther was happy when he got home and that he has a clean bill of health. I really need to get the dogs' vaccines done, esp the Lyme boosters. Why am I dragging my feet so badly? :frusty:

Trudy- I loved the page you posted on FB- the boys are so big and happy! Your FIL sounds like my dad! Your MIL sounds like me, much harder to get back up once I am on the ground.
I hope that the airlines are able to get running again without any risks. I would be heartbroken to think it might the long to see them again. Did you have flights bought already to go and see Heather this summer? If you had to drive, it might be fun for you and your Gary to rent an RV.

Hugs!!

Morning ladies... late arriving here, but I have been face timing with Heather and Hunter all morning LOL. Mason was in need of some quiet time, so he was in his fort that he made in room and watching some videos on his tablet. Sometimes we all need a break from each other right? Today is cloudy with the odd sunny patch and tomorrow it will start with the rain again :mmph: oh well still lots to do with the kitchen cupboards! Today i am starting a new section and it is just the drawer fronts that I have to paint so it should go pretty quickly. I also did some resin work on some new coasters, so those will have to set up for awhile. Hope to get out for a bit of a walk as long as the weather holds and then think about what to make for supper tonight Uggh!! Also working on a page for a release tomorrow, so I better get busy with that!

Chris - Thanks for this mornings breathing!! It really felt good! Also thanks for the nice compliment for my page that I did for the 52 Inspirations Challenge!! It took me long enough LOL. Yes the boys always fill my day with smiles and sunshine! I am trying to stay optimistic that the airlines will not be charging an arm and a leg to fly within our own country, its already ridiculous what we have to spend and we could fly to Hawaii for less than what it cost to fly from Vancouver Island to London Ontario :rollpin: Dam airlines!! they sure gouge us!! No we did not have flights booked already, good thing because it would have been a big fight to get our money back I am sure! I like your idea about renting and RV and it would be a nice trip for DH and I to take for sure! I will have to put a bug in his ear about it. I am so happy that T is doing so much better!! How nice to have Leah come and spend some time with all of you and WTG Scott on his great marks too!! You must have raised those kids right!! You should be very proud of the job you and your Gary have done with the kids!! Have fun with your Alien night, Avatar will be a good show to see for it! I just love the colour that is in that movie!!

Ok I am off to check that my resin doesn't have any air bubbles in it and then get the bed made and start sanding the drawer fronts and get some scrapping done! Oh another busy day for me, it is all good!! Have a lovely day my O-zies!!

Morning, gals. Looks like I missed posting the last couple of days... so sorry. Time got away from me. Had some CT duties that had to be done and that took up most of Monday and Tuesday. I did get over to the PO on Monday to mail the check. I talked to that company and the gal explained that there is a 7-10 day grace period after the due date... whew... that takes the pressure off. While I was out.. I stopped over at WM - wearing my mask and gloves - and got the cleaners DD#1 said she used on her glass shower. I used them but guess it will take several goes at it to get the water stains off of it! Also picked up some coffee and creamer and a few other needed things.

Turns out that my Blood Pressure was down on the evening of the 3rd day and has stayed in the normal range since then - without my taking the extra med. Not sure what triggered the rise and the return to normal. So will just keep an eye on it.

Chris... wow... great grades for Scott! Glad he enjoyed his visit with Leah... and that she is going to be coming over. I hear you about the expanded family bubble. Gary has my utmost sympathy on the headache from hell. I used to have migraines from when I had the flu/virus back in 1978... had them off and on for over a year afterwards. Hope his eases up. So glad to hear that Tat is feeling and looking better.

Trudy, glad you are coming along on the painting job. Can't wait to see the photos once you are finished. You are a project diva with your fluid painting on coasters. Glad you are keeping busy.

The allergies are still kicking up with the winds [25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph]. Temps have been in the mid-to-upper 90's... it got to 98* yesterday!!! We are under a high fire danger alert for the whole state with no rain is sight. Have to get some weed control spray as there is a huge crop of them popping up in the front yard again!!! Need to see if I have all the stuff for a home-made one - using vinegar, Epsom salt and Dawn soap. Heard it was very effective. Have to get them done before the HOA sends me a nasty-gram about them... grrrrr....

This week is just one busy thing after another it seems, the time just evaporating. Monday DH hosted the H&S Zoom and it went well. I did bills and stuff during it and after did the big grocery shopping. Got a big disappointment in an email that the art school alumni exhibit has been "postponed" to next year. Since the entry and judging process was all digital, I really hoped it would go through in one format or another, but they decided not. I was excited to try after so many years to get into a juried show, just to see if I could get anything into it. I did get inspired to do a mini artwork as a birthday card to mail DH's sister whose birthday is late this month. Tuesday morning went in for lab work and late afternoon had a Zoom chat group. This one has been meeting since last year on Zoom. Finished up the card, made another mask, but somehow felt like I hadn't gotten anything done. Today was a big day, 11:00 - 7:00 was live-streaming of a virtual version of a national genealogical conference. It was supposed to start today in Salt Lake City. I hadn't planned to go, but was registered for the state conference the end of April which was cancelled, so signed up when the national went virtual. In July we'll have access to recordings of today plus a choice of many, many lectures. Today was good, but it just isn't anything like being with friends and making new acquaintances and just sharing the experience. When it ended I still had to make dinner even though I felt cross-eyed by then. But I did have a potential plan that worked well.

Going back to the Sunday night movie, it is called "Up from the Streets: New Orleans: The City of Music" and was very good. It was strange seeing Roger Plant, young and old, the night before in the Led Zeppelin doc and then again in this one.

And I don't think I mentioned that we have a Covid version of Puzzle Up. It is 40 questions rather than the normal 50, but with 387 parts. Last night I helped DH with questions that were driving him batty.

I'm happy to say that yesterday I also scrapped the artwork/bday card!

Tomorrow there is a genealogist who's doing Thursday at 11 (Central, noon here - Elevenses with Lisa on YouTube if you'd like to watch live, or after recorded) live. I've been watching that, but I'll have to leave early as my user group will begin at 1:00, with another group member hosting the Zoom session, so at least I don't have to do that part. Finally starting Friday there are three days with nothing on the calendar!!!!

Chris, from the above bet you can understand that your breathing exercise was so welcome this evening! Thanks. Hope Gary's head is feeling better. Yes, I do remember how you suffered with the abx. How great your kids have done with college and the trying final session before graduating. Wish we could give them the biggest party. Nice that Leah will get to be celebrated by you all. And then the alien theme will be so fun. Even we have seen Avatar and it should be perfect. Can you color some food green? Wonder if we could do an alien theme? Wouldn't it be lovely if other Oozies could share it?

Trudy, interesting that Mason needed his own time, but then Hunter got time with you and Heather too. I know the kitchen will look so good when the work is done. Hope you had a chance to enjoy the outdoors. Someday air travel will be normal again but who knows when. It could be fun to take an RV with your MG, but would he take that much time off? It is interesting that the ILs actually asked for your help. You both got quite a workout, but in all must have felt good to get so much accomplished and help them out.

Kay, hope your weather gets nicer and the allergies calm down. What a nice thing to learn about the billing grace period. I'm glad your BP has been normal without needing more meds. Maybe you just had something going on when you got the high reading. I'm sure you know the drill to get relaxed before taking it but even so sometimes we're all wound up.

Nancy, you are doing such nice LOs with the new photos and I love the white ibis one!

Felis, I see you didn't have to go on the shopping and planted seeds. That could feel good. Hope the weather is nice.

Gratitudes:
That so much is available online
the azaleas are blooming and look beautiful
it isn't so cold anymore
and I can unload all this on you :bounce:
