The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
hey there my friends!
Happy Wednesday! Yesterday was such a looooooooooooog day. All chopped up too, which makes it even harder. Three bus stop runs, work, a dr appt for Cait and then chorus concert. Adding a very cranky hubby, pouring rain and a leaky basement, and it was not a fun day.

Hopefully today will be better, if for no other reason than I got better sleep last night.
:D

I want to spend less that $100 at the grocery store today but I bet that isn't going to happen.
I want to do some yard work this afternoon.
I wish that cranky husbands would not be so cranky!

xoxoxo!!!!!

Laurie- did you get your yard work done yesterday? It has been so wet and rainy here. I think that even if the sun does come out, it is going to be too wet to get much of anything done.
Gary and Scott don't read either and it amazes me, and makes me sad too. Gary has a learning disability where he can read the words fluently, but has no comprehension. Even trying to read a guitar magazine gets him frustrated. Youtube is amazing for him because if he hears it, he knows it, but write the same info on a piece of paper and he won't understand a word.

Good for you Phyllis, for setting your DS straight!
Love your answer to "lost 365 days"-- the question mark is great. Besides, don't they say a picture is worth a 1000 words??

Kristy- tell your DH that I said happy belated b-day!
How is your friend's family coping? I hope that they have a strong support system, because I am sure they are going to need it desperately. Thinking of you ((((hugs))))

Trudy-- how was your day off? Hope it was great and if you spent time in the yard you thought of me too! :D

P- that is a great template pack. Maybe I should try again next year......

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Morning all - no home internet so I connected to my tablets wifi hot spot which is slow. But it got the bills paid. No walk this am as I have to be to work early. I will get a walk in tonight- maybe even outside. I did get the yard mowed Chris and I am about to go out and water the transplants before I shower and head to work. Hope to take photos tomorrow of the outdoor space I have been working on and do a layout. Just remembered I have to go to all day class Fri- Sat for continuing ed. This one is about feeding and I will go with my co-workers so it should be cool! Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh ... I had just written a long essay ... clicked the wrong place and everythings gone *sigh*

Well ... yesterday just disappeared in a blur. I woke up at 9, went down, took my meds, but I wasn't feeling well. Lay down on the sofa. I have a vague recollection that DH went to work. The next thing I know is when John comes and wants me to mix him some juice ... the clock is 12.30! Turned out I had a fever. Spent the day knitting and watching TV. A little slumber. More TV. Feeling better today though.

Hoping to hear from my sister, texted her asking if she was going grocery shopping today. I need to get some stuff, and I really don't feel like carrying it home from the store. DH is working til 5pm and after that he's going to help mom and dad to get some stuff off to the garbage dump, so he won't be able to do the shopping. And tomorrow is a holiday.

Other than that - I'm looking forward til tomorrow. 11 hrs of ice hockey on TV! What else can a woman want??! :D Quarter finals. First Canada-Slovakia, then Russia-Norway, then USA-Finland, and finally the big thriller: Sweden-Czech Republic. Needless to say: you won't see me on-line tomorrow LOL

I want my sister to call.
I want chocolate icecream.
I wish Sweden wipe the ice with the czechs tomorrow.

howdy. it's Over the Hump Day. does that mean it's all downhill from here?? :eek2: i'm recovering from doing yard work again yesterday. my arms and hands will be useless today. (haHAA!! maybe i can use that as an excuse to order pizza for dinner tonight!)

Chris, i'm not sure how people are surviving with grocery prices like they are. every week when i go shopping, there's at least one time during the trip through the aisles when i say "WHAT!??!" right out loud. stuff is not just going up cents. it's going up DOLLARS. pork and ground beef seem to be the only "affordable" meat in the place. i'm spending about $150/week for TWO people. that is totally NUTS. and don't get me started on the electric bill....

Eva. a couch and ice hockey. sounds like HEAVEN to me. hope you're feeling better, too.

Laurie, i've been lucky. Mom Nature has been taking care of watering my tomato plants and such for me. i am REALLY hoping that we get some zucchini this year. last year, 10 plants, one zucchini. i can always count on the green beans, though.

have a sunny Wednesday, wherever you are!

they are doing as well as can be expected....the funeral is tomorrow....blah....im hoping to help them out in someway....they set up a fund for the family to collect donations to help with the funeral costs and medical bills...and are also accepting gift cards for groceries

Morning sweet "O" ladies!! Another beauty of a day today! I know that soon we will pay for this great weather! Chris I will try to send some sunshine your way!! Had a nice day off although I did not get to scrap as much as I wanted. My house was turned upside down after having all those people for Mother's day and then SIL and her sons and girlfriends stayed the night so they would not have to travel so far to the airport. So beds got stripped and laundry got done and bathrooms all got cleaned, floors vacuumed and washed Whew... I'm beat!! Off to work for a short day and then hopefully a walk tonight with DH.

Chris - I did manage to get some weeds pulled yesterday in between all the housework and I did think of you! Between the two of us we could get some serious gardening done!! :becky:

Laurie - Can't wait to see what you have been working so hard on in your back yard!!

Eva - Hope you are feeling better today!! Sounds like you will be in heaven with all those hockey games !! (go Canada!!) oops did I say that out loud!! :tape: :becky:

Phylis - that is so weird that your zucchinis won't grow, I used to have a neighbour that would bring me over countless zucchinis every summer, I had so many that I really did not know what to do with them all!!

Well off to get some breakfast and get to work, I promised I would fill in for a full day on Friday so one of the other girls could have the long weekend off (what was I thinking???) LOL Have a great day everyone!!

Kristy we cross posted  So sorry about your friend, hope that the family raises lots to get those bills paid!!
