I made it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I survived the winter! Now I have six months to enjoy life before I need to hibernate again. ROTFLMAO!!!
The next few days are going to be cool and damp but it isn't going to snow and that is great news. I am going to ask Gary to put away the bags of ice melt from the steps to free up some room. I have been looking for planters online and I am bummed at how expensive the wooden whiskey barrels are. I think I am going to end up buying plastic "wood" ones. I do this to myself every year- I look at the stuff that I want and need but get freaked out by the prices and end up getting nothing. I have to get past that this year, there isn't much choice since everything is falling apart.

My back ended up hurting again and while I did go outside to scoop the lawn and pick up some branches, Gary came out to yell at me. I grumbled a bit but since I knew he was right (my goodness, two times in the past week, the world is upside down  ) so I came back inside. I am almost done scrapping a page for April and will finish that up today. I also worked on the crochet tutorial and some rows/rounds come out perfectly and others get all messed up. I cannot figure out where I am making the mistakes. I wish I had someone looking over my shoulder (even though I would be really uncomfortable if they did heh) to spot where I mess up.

Today is picking up groceries and some desk work. I need to clean my house before my parents come on Saturday but if my back and hip are still a bit twingy, best to not go crazy.

HAGD!!

@taxed4ever ((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))) I am so sorry that you are down. I cannot imagine how difficult it is to be so far away from your kids. It has to be heartbreaking. Are they still going to be able to be together for Easter? *fingers crossed*
I have to admit that it is smart that your area is closing back down. NJ is opening up even more- slowly but still... The Northeast US is not doing good at all. I am so frustrated for you and with you. More hugs sent your way~~~~

@Cherylndesigns I saw some of the pics of you at the park! The weather looked amazing, so sunny and you ladies are a trip! I get it, staying in your bubble. Scott says that looking back, maybe we were/are too cautious but better to be safe than dead. That makes sense to me.

@LSlycord There you are! I am glad that you are feeling more like yourself, even if you are wondering about that. ;) I hear ya!! I saw someone post on Twitter that we are all more burnt out than we think we are. I bet he is right.
I was seeing photos and news articles about Spring Breakers - it is insanity. I am aggravated that (IMNotSoHumbleO) NJ is opening back up to quickly that at least we still have a lot of restrictions including mask mandates for stores and restaurants etc. Your weather is making me wish for sun and sand.

love to everyone!

Morning ladies... I am in a better frame of mind today! The sun is shining and it is a lovely morning! I have asked Sister-In-Law Linda to join me on a hike this afternoon, so I think that should free my mind of all the cobwebs that have been accumulating in my head lately. Sorry about my breakdown yesterday, but I guess we are all entitled to one now and again LOL. I have some things to finish off here at the O this morning, but other than that I am just going to try and enjoy this beautiful day! I am working on a new AVI, now that the party is over its time to spring clean and get a new look.

@faerywings Hooray!! you made it through winter!! We knew that you would! It is hard to believe that it will be the first of April tomorrow! Do you have any plans for April Fool's Day?? Sorry that your back is still bothering you and I had to laugh about your Gary yelling at you while you were scooping poop!! I can see you grumbling under your breath at him LOL. Hope you are able to get your cleaning done, it will be nice for you to see your parents again! We are thinking that we should perhaps go for a drive and visit with the In-Laws and see if they need anything done around the property. Perhaps we will take up some lunch for them. Thank you for all of the hugs!! They were very much needed! I think that is what is bothering me the most, not having all those hugs and snuggles!! Darn now I am crying again o_O. I agree with you about better to be safe than dead!!! You all have been so great about staying within your bubble, sure wish everyone else practiced the same cautiousness! Yes Heather and Jason's families will still be seeing each other this weekend, they all really need this visit! They are very good with all the Covid rules and there still have been no cases in the small town that Heather lives in. They will keep to themselves and just have fun within their families and I am so happy that they will be spending time together!!

@Cherylndesigns - Love, Love your photos of the waterfall hike, so nice to see you all so happy! You live in a very beautiful area! Thanks for sharing you lovely photos!!

@LSlycord - Nice to see your masked face again! I am sad that your state is lifting the mask wearing, you should still wear yours if it makes you feel more comfortable! I can't see us going without wearing masks for a long time yet! We hope to be getting our vaccines sometime in April, hopefully! It has been a slow process here in Canada. Hope that you are feeling much better with your new meds and that you don't have anymore computer issues! Technology is wonderful when it works! But such a pain when it doesn't!

Alright I will get busy with my new AVI and then I need to get coupons finished off for the March challenges. Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon! Hope everyone is doing well! I suffer with IBS and have been off kilter since the weekend! So, I haven't done much scrapping this week. I also have trouble sleeping nights. I was awake ALL night on Monday night. Slept REALLY well last night, lol, but awoke with a headache at 9. Took some tylenol and laid back down and slept until 1 p.m.! That probably means I won't sleep tonight, too! It's a vicious cycle!o_O

I have been making some baby items for a grandson that will be coming in September! That will make 19 (I believe) with combining mine with his, lol! We both have 4 kids, so I guess LOTS of grandkids are to be expected! They are all about the same age and 3 of mine are done and the 4th is probably done. Mark's oldest is the one having the son in September. His kids are all in their 30's, so there could still be more.

Anyway, I've crocheted a baby blanket and knitted a matching set that includes a cocoon, hat and mittens. I'm working on booties, but @faerywings I'm having a hard time with my crochet boots working out, Chris. I don't know where I'm going wrong! I've given up on the crocheted ones and trying a knitted pair. We shall see!

Have a great rest-of-the-day!:D

Hello, hello, hello!! It's sunny and beautiful here! 61 today, but I'll take that! The wind was SO strong last night that I had trouble sleeping. Things kept banging into the side of the house. I don't know why, but it just freaked me out. Adrienne sent me Carrie Underwood's song about the Wind in Oklahoma (she's from here) and it helped me to listed to that. All I could think of was that there was a bear out there - everything outside sounded like it was literally getting pushed around. I have a door right off the Master BR and so I can really hear everything. Chuck went out there this am and tried to tamp everything down. It was 4 am before I finally got to sleep.

Trudy @taxed4ever and Chris @faerywings I'm glad you enjoyed my pictures. We always have fun together - 3 generations and we love being together. Ava declared, on the way home, that she had more fun with us than anybody! We're so silly and we even all say the same thing at the same time. It's too funny. I had fun putting them on FB and IG.

Trudy, glad you're feeling better today and vent away girl. We ALL do it - that's what I love about this private forum. At least you have lots of wine. BWAHAHA - I don't know if you drink it or sell it or both.

I've been trying to clean today - I'm constantly re-organizing and moving stuff around. One of these days, I'll get everything where I want it. At least I know this is my forever home. That's quite comforting. We had a cookout at our dd's 5th wheel last night. SIL built a nice deck and it added so much living space! I don't think I told you all that he moved their 5th wheel to THIS property! They had to put a septic system in just for it, but they got it done and now they're here on the property with the rest of us! When they move into their house, the 5th wheel will become a rental.

GUESS WHAT????? WE'VE BEEN TOLD THAT WE MIGHT HAVE WIFI WITHIN A WEEK!!!!! Yes, I'm yelling. ROTF When SIL called my hubby today, Chuck had him on speaker and I started whooping and hollering in the other room. Roger said, he guessed I heard the conversation. Hahahaha Where's that HAPPY DANCE emoji????? We're not holding our breaths, because in "these parts" a week could be a month - but it's coming!!! Everybody is "on lake time" around here.

I gotta go, but I'll be hanging around. I know there are end-of-birthday things to attend to. I'm going to get ready and take Daisy for a walk. She's been a patient girl and I know she's ready to go.

Waving to all and hugs.

Hard to believe March is ending. I think it was pretty good but hoping April even nicer. Our last sighting of a lone redpoll was on Monday, but that stretched their visit to 17 days. What a nice bit of excitement they were. Otherwise mostly just same old same old.

Chris, so sorry the back is still in pain, but having Gary -correctly- call you on activity you shouldn't have been doing is a pretty clear sign of you being just the way we know you are. Stubborn too. Hoping Cait gets through the computer woes without having to buy new, and even more without losing anything or time. Having others here at the O with computer problems is making me twitchy! Where's that hiding emoji? I think an email today said it's World Backup Day. Good thing for all of us to do.

Trudy, your new avi is so lovely and you look beautiful. Hope it's a sign of your recovery from the all too understandable meltdown. Glad to hear the kids will be together for the weekend. The ILs would surely be happy to see you both and lunch too. You describe all the work you've gotten done but I wonder if there is ever an idea to paint something. I just this morning had a thought for a new artwork, but haven't gone near the studio. Not a very inspiring time for some of us.

Vicky, I'm amazed that you can go from crochet to knit like that. Knitting is a totally alien world to me while crochet always seems to make sense (but then I don't do little things like booties.) Hope you get them all made.

Cheryl, sorry I haven't seen the photos, but your comments make it sound wonderful. I've been to Sequoyah State Park a couple of times and it was nice there and other nearby places, but we were there birding. That is at least near you. Getting the wi-fi will be so good!! Hope it's the sooner rather than later version of time.

Felis, also hoping your computer problems are getting fixed one way or another. Let us know what else is bugging you. Everyone else here has something too.

Kay, hope you are feeling better and can come by more.

@faerywings I am sure that what you read is true...we have all been under so much stress for so long...of course we are burnt out! Take care of your back...listen to Gary.

@taxed4ever I like the new avi! I’m sorry that you are having to deal with the COVID stuff. We are lucky that we live in Florida and can be outside for so many things. But we will keep wearing our masks for sure.

@vickyday 19 grandkids. Wow! And love what you are crocheting. Love that you are doing all of that for number 19.

@Cherylndesigns WiFi? That will be a true celebration!

@scrap-genie 17 days of redpolls. That was quite a stay! And I can’t believe that March is over. Time goes too fast.
