Happy Wednesday!
I am shooting for the fake it til ya make it groove today. We shall see. ;)
I didn't have a good day yesterday, physically or mentally. Heart Rate issues were really bad. I feel like I am having a heart attack at times but I know that I am not but it gets very hard to breathe and I feel like my BP is through the roof. I use my BP cuff, so even though it is occasionally high, it isn't "run to the ER" high. But damn, it exhausts me.

I was able to get a bunch of stuff taken care of and scrapped a LO for another April Challenge. And I did put my feet up for a half an hour before dinner. I am trying. I told Caitlyn this morning that I think that my Seasonal Affective Disorder is really kicking in now, which is weird since it is March. It is only going to be 30* and the wind is going to make it feel like it is 19*
I must be in weather bitch mode :pound:

Off to food shop this morning and then I am going to start working on the plans for teaching the Girl Scouts how to make the lip and foot scrubs.
I want to make it fun but I am not really sure how to do that. If I had preschoolers I could do that with my eyes closed but 13 yos, not so sure.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Nancy- I bet Luther was so happy to be out playing with his friends. Wouldn't you like to have a dog's life?
How was the game last night? I hope that the Devils did well. I saw some of your LOs and the scenery is so pretty. Still not much in the way of grass up here.:(

Sharon- much love and good thoughts to you and your puppy with the heartworm treatment. I never had a dog who had to go through that and it sounds pretty intense. Hope that she pulls through easily. Hugs!
I was the same way with my family (but I couldn't leave!). One of our cats died very unexpectedly years ago and the very next day Gary and kids wanted to get a kitten. I was adamantly against it. I was so mad at the new cat and would say "I hate you now, but I know that I will love you eventually." He turned out to be the best cat we ever had and I miss him terribly.

Trudy- Warmer spring? Wish that would happen here, it is too darn cold! Scott is very happy about leaving the restaurant but it looks likes he went on good terms and can go back after the garden center season is over. That opens this weekend which means he will get a *nice* paycheck for the hours he worked prior to the opening.

Rae- hope that al of the work you had to do got done with no issues. Taz must have been wondering what was up without his walk.
:dogwalk:

Sharon- whew! Good for Lyta!

xoxo!!!!

good morning - Well I am one happy hockey fan this morning. My team is not going to the play offs so I have to enjoy the little things when I can. Last night my team played the NY Rangers. It was scoring by my young players, John Quinville scored his first NHL goal and Joe Blandisi scored the OT game winning goal with just 56 seconds left in OT. The Rock was totally filled with Ranger fans but they were so quiet when we scored that OT goal. It was an amazing OT filled with great plays and great saves. It was fun. My poor DH still has a sinus infection and after seeing the ENT doctor he is on more antibiotics but also steroids. It will be nice if he can finally get this cured. He is not sleeping well and that does not help a person get well. I woke a little before 7am and said 5 more minutes and when I woke it was 8am LOL. Not having my son getting ready for work and me not having to make lunches I just don't get up LOL. The wind here is really blowing and the wind chill is crazy. I am waiting to take Luther as my DH had him out already. And for me a really cool experience. Anna Aspnes asked me to write an article on my hockey pages. Well she published it on her blog and OMgosh it is so cool to see.

Chris so glad you are getting scrapping done but I could not listen to those political hearings they just make me sad. Stay warm as you head out to shop. My friend sent me a link to Blue Apron which does the shopping for you for 3 meals a week for 2 people and I am going to try it. He said they are easy recipes and good. The first won't come until end of March but anything to save me from grocery shopping.

Trudy hope you get your hike in. Love seeing the pages after the hikes. Your area is so beautiful. I hope you get your warmer spring. I would like to see that in NJ.

Rae glad your computer is working well. Awesome that Jen is all settled in and happy!

Sharon glad to hear your dogs are doing well and staying calm. I have to say that I did not want a dog but so glad to have Luther around. He keeps me moving!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... Looks like I should be able to get hiking today, although I don't think that the sunshine will joining us. Grey and cloudy this morning but at least the rain is holding off for now anyway. It must have rained during the night as the ground is pretty wet, but that's ok I will wear my new waterproof hiking boots and get them broken in. When we did our hike to Meades Creek and went through all that snow, my hiking boots were not waterproof and my feet got soaked!! Good thing I had really good warm socks that my DIL gave me so my feet were wet but nice and warm. Hope to get more good photos and finally catch up on my last couple of hiking pages. I am so far behind in my layouts for everything!! :gaah: never enough time in the day to do everything LOL. I am just a bad organizer that is my biggest problem.

Chris - Good luck food shopping, I hate that task and must do that tomorrow! Sorry that your weather is stuck in Winter mode!! Sure hope it changes for you soon! Good for you for being able to accomplish as much as you did yesterday! I managed to get some commenting done, but no scrapping. I took a break and watched a movie in the afternoon. Julie and Julia one of my favs! I just adore Meryl Streep!

Nancy - WOOT!! I saw your interview with Anna!! How amazing is that!! You rocked it!! So great to hear your process and see your amazing hockey pages!! You are the queen of artsy sports pages!! How fun that your Devils beat their arch enemies too!! Nice to see the young players doing so well! Bruins not doing well their last few games, they just do not do well against the Canadian teams  Enjoy your walk with Luther hope the wind calms down for it!

Ok better get my backpack all ready for my hike, joining my brother and sister-in-law again for this hike so it will be good to catch up with them again! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Chris- sorry you had a bad day yesterday...hope it's better today. I have high heart rate issues and no one can figure it out. You do make me laugh so much- good luck with the girl scouts!

nancy- glad you have Luther to keep you moving

Trudy- glad you will get a hike in.

This morning I am already exhausted trying to keep Lyta calm between the cat and Londo who was full of energy, so I took him for a long walk. Lyta is now right beside me while I am at my computer. Maybe I will have to stay here and scrap!

Have a great day!

Good morning, ladies. It feels good to be caught up with work. Now if I can just stick with my new routine of mostly staying off the computer during the earlier part of the day and focusing on my desk work, I should be able to keep up without having to work late into the evening. Of course, I'll still have those days where I get overload but that will be sporadic and not too often.

I've started going to bed a bit earlier too. I think that extra half hour helps to make me feel more energized during the day.

I'm enjoying Anna's brush class and the last video is today. I'm pretty sure I'll be watching them a few times to let all the info sink in. I'm having even more fun now playing with brushes. I'm also starting to tag in acdsee too so that will help in the future with finding store product. I'm going to tag all new kits I download and then here and there will tag some older stuff. I'm doing a very rudimentary simple system. The best thing will be to see all the previews.

Chris - I feel the blahs after Xmas and it lasts until Easter. Then I start to perk up as the weather starts to warm up, the sun comes out a bit and the days are a bit longer. That 3 mth stretch is killer for me. I hate it. I think it helps me to have a project to focus on, to keep me occupied and not think about it. This year it was my new diet.

Trudy - enjoy the hike. Fingers crossed the rain holds off. It's been raining here all morning.

Nancy - I'll go read your article. I agree with Trudy...you are the queen of sports pages!

Sharon - being with the pets and scrapping sounds like a good plan!

I'm getting off the computer for awhile. Time to work. Have a great day, everyone.
