Hoooo boy. What a total mixed bag of a day/week. The weather is so nice and we are looking at another 10 days of temps in the 50s and 60s. My crocuses are in full bloom and look very springy! They are all in one main clump and I should thin and spread them out a bit. I wonder if I should do that now or wait until they are spent? I should google that. Normally, it is too cold t be outside when they bloom so I never wanted to be messing around with moving them ;)

The weather is the good part of my days. The virus, not so much. Colleges are now switching to remote learning. My kids' school will be remote until April 3rd. Two friends' kids' schools are only online until the end of the semester. Most of the people in school that are my kids ages are seniors. Being commuters that won't affect my guys too much, but for a lot of them, it is going to be really hard.
I had a good chat with my brother- he asked me if he should get in touch with his pulmonologist. He has cysts all over his lungs plus his lung function is very low so I told him YES! He might have a different threshold for testing since he is at higher risk. I also told Gary that he should talk to his endocrinologist for the same reasons. I think my brother will do that, Gary I am not so sure.

The grocery store was... "interesting." It was less crowded than usual and the shelves in the cleaning and health care aisles were empty. The woman in from of me in line has her cart filled with cleaning items. I had grabbed an extra bottle of bleach (I needed it anyway) and a bottle of Gatorade. That was my virus stock up LOL

I was able to catch up on some house cleaning and then scrapped a page in the afternoon. Overall, I had a some good/some not so good day.

I have to admit I am annoyed with Whisky. Now that she is allowed to go upstairs, that is all she wants to do. If Cait has her door closed she whines outside of it. Last night, W was cuddling with me in bed, Cait came home from Trivia Night and the brat went upstairs to sleep on her bed. hahaha! Cait is thrilled by this but now I know how fickle that little brown dog is.:drama:

Today I am going to see if I can get to the FP for a bag of groceries and then I have to work on my taxes. Time has flown by so fast that they are due next month. So yup-- total mixed bag again today!

Hoping that your days are only good!!
hugs~~~~

Kay- how was the luncheon? I hope that your friends were able to help a lot with the cleanup so you could rest your foot. So sorry to hear that you needed the boot again. Did your Dr give you any idea on how much longer this is going to last? I feel so bad for you!

Trudy- how was your food shopping? I thought the same thing about bread- worst-case scenario, I have flour! :D
were you able to get any scrapping in before you got your hair done?

Rae- I saw a few of the gorgeous photos from the shoot- what a happy couple. Babies are such a blessing. Yes, cutting back the bushes should encourage new growth. If you cut where it branches, it should also force more branches from that spot.

good morning - wow I have been busy. Lots of hockey games and with the coronavirus the question is always should I go or should the hockey games allow fans at all. I know that the number of cases is stated is way below the number that are actually around and I know that they say the elderly (those over 60 should be extra vigilant) but I feel so healthy and I just feel that I can not not live my life. My DH feels the same way. His school is on spring break but all the deans and chairmen are in learning how to remote teach. In science it is hard as so many labs that have to be done in person however there are many that can be done remotely so they are trying to decide what to do. My DIL a NJ high school teacher says that her school will not shut down (this is the whole town school system) per the mayor of the town. As Chris says most town are doing half days to start remote learning. But I am not sure how working families are going to deal with this. My son is worried about his dad and I as we are above the 60 yr age so he went to the store and got us lots of non perishable food should we need to stay in. I have to say that is so sweet. I am going today just to make sure I have meds and pet food and perhaps pick up some soups and canned veggies. Other than that I think I am all set. I do need toilet paper though LOL. I talked to my sister yesterday and we don't understand the toilet paper run. We have been busy taking Luther for long walks as the weather has been glorious. Been cooking also. Yesterday received very sad and very happy news. My girlfriend that I eat with each week lost her MIL yesterday. She had been sick for a while and I think she was not wanting to fight any more but it is so sad because she was always so vibrant. However one of my other girlfriends became a grandmother for the first time a little girl. She is so cute. So talk about the circle of life. My Devils have been playing much better but lost last night to the Penguins. They play again on Thursday. The Devils sent out a message saying do not come if you are sick or health compromised. There were still a lot of fans. The moon has been gorgeous too.

Chris I know what you mean about be befuddled. The weather is so nice and so much is blooming in my area. So glad PT is going so well. I hope the learning goes well for your kids. Funny about the dog. They do have favs.

Trudy your weekend sounded so nice with family at a party to celebrate a real milestone. Enjoy the swimming and creating!

Rae busy a usual. Fun to see some photos of Taz. Love the maternity photos.

Kay how was the Red Hat Luncheon. I bet you all have such laughfests! Hope the foot does not get too sore!

Felis I think we are all feeling uneasy and unsure if our leaders have any idea what they are doing.

Have a great day all!

i am up and moving... but slowly again today. It is raining - maybe doing that off and on all day. Hope we have a break before noon as DD#3 and her hubby are coming over to help load and take the donations over to St Vincent de Paul's center. Then we are going out for lunch. It is Free Pie Day at Village Inn and Son-in-law loves to go for that. DD#1 may join us unless she gets a call to pick up the keys to the rental.

Had a fun time with the RH gals yesterday. I had time to put my foot up for a couple of hours before they arrived. DD#1 came over near the end to visit with my BF who had such a terrible fall back in Oct. This was BF's first gathering with us since her fall. The gals helped clear the table, clear the food away, etc. Then DD helped me put the table/chairs back where they belonged and a few other things.

Haven't gone back to see the doc about the foot as he had warned me that it could take months before the foot was completely healed. DD#3 had a stress fracture in her ankle that took around 8-9 months before it was normal... so not surprised that I am having trouble with it still... especially given what I have been doing lately. Still have some boxes in the garage that I need to sort through but at least I can sit in a chair while I do them. I am actually starting to see daylight at the end of the tunnel... Hopefully will have the garage stuff done by the end of next week - then plan on taking a couple of weeks to recover before tackling the office. Even if my cousin arrives before I get the office done - we can get her moved in anyway.

Just got a cup of coffee and opened the blinds to the backyard and was surprised to see that the 2 plum trees have buds blooming open on about a a fourth of the branches! They were not opened yesterday. That says that spring is arriving. The peach tree has some buds but they haven't opened. Waiting to see if the 2 trees I had transplanted from the front yard to the back yard made it through the winter.

Chris, I would wait until this fall when the flowers die back to separate the bulbs. I lost a few of mine at the old house when I did it in the spring. Learned my lesson with that. I put a note on my calendar in October to remind me to do it then. Sounds like a good idea for the college to shift to on-line classes since the Coronavirus is in the area. Bummer about the cruise but would hate to have you end up quarantined on the ship. Hopefully this will die off by summer like the flu usually does.

Rae, sawed a few of the PG pics... they looks so cute. You are a fantastic photographer!

Trudy, did you get your hair done?? Had to LOL over not having bread for your DH's breakfast. That reminded me to check my freezer and I need to pick some bread up in a few days. Also need to get some more fresh fruit and veggies in the next few days. Won't do my 'big' grocery shopping for a couple of weeks. I will need to order and pick up Rx refills from the base then.

Have a good day and enjoy the warmer weather if you have it. CYL

Morning ladies! It is a bright and beautiful sunny morning, but pretty chilly still. The blossoms are starting to come out on the cherry and plum trees. I just love this time of the year! The promise of new beginnings! I am getting so tired of hearing about the Corona Virus and all the fear that the media is putting out there! :drama: Our govt has just announced that they will help out anyone who has to miss work because of the virus. How much you want to bet that there will be tons of people trying to rip the govt. off to get extra money :mmph: Ok enough about that :tape: I did get my hair done yesterday and I did some scrapping done and hope to get it posted this morning. I hope to do some more scrapping today and then spend some time on my painting. It is slow going, but it is coming along and I am happy with it so far.

Chris - Food shopping was great, I did it online LOL. It was nice to just go and pick it up after I got my hair done. So simple and it is free as long as I pick it up. Nice to hear that your flowers are in bloom and that you continue to enjoy nice weather! Yes the news is getting very frustrating and I am so sick of it! So funny that W is a very fickle doggy LOL. Hope that you can get what you need at the FP! Hope you manage to get your taxes done today too!

Nancy - I have been wondering what you have been doing, but of course you are enjoying all the hockey games! Hope that you continue to get to your games! Nice that your son is worried about you both, heck I am over 60 too, but sure don't feel like a senior LOL. Yes we did have a lot of fun at the Anniversary!! It was so good to see family members that we used to see so often when we were kids! Now we are all a bunch of old farts LOL. How great that you are getting out in the beautiful weather with Luther, hope it continues for you!!

Kay - Sounds like you have been so busy with cleaning out of the garage! It will be very satisfying to know that it is done! Hope that you the rest of the clean up goes well, but probably a good idea to give it a break for a bit and take care of your foot! What a nice surprise to see the trees in bloom! Got the bread and milk that I needed with my online shopping, it really is a great way to shop for groceries! My DD loves that she can do it too, they no longer have to drag the kids to the grocery store and listen to them wanting everything they see LOL. Nice to hear that your Red Hat get together was a success, sounds like they are all a great bunch!

Ok I need to get my page uploaded and then get some chores done before starting another page today. Have a lovely day everyone!

Good morning, ladies. The sun is shining but its cold and will remain that way for the next few wks. I am going to get a lot of desk work done today b/c tomorrow I will spend the afternoon with B and then we're going to see a movie at dinnertime when Jen gets off work. Poor girl is suffering so much with the dental skin grafting, hope the movie takes her mind off the pain for awhile.

Talked to an old friend last night and she can't wait for us to retire and hopefully move out closer to them. Still a few yrs away but we both agreed that time seems to fly by so it won't be long til we're ready to sell and move out further from the city.

Watched the Bachelor last night, love the silly drama of it all.

Chris - I can't wait until our temps get a bit higher. Still pretty chilly. I'll wait a bit to prune back the bushes since it looks like close to freezing temps at night for a few wks.

Nancy - yes, circle of life, good news, bad news. I really enjoyed shooting the maternity photos. My GS is so good natured and didn't mind at all, most guys hate photog sessions and having to pose and smile for me.

Trudy - I agree, you know there will be many trying to rip off the gov't for money. I told hubs we'd better go get some TP soon b/c I don't see this situation getting any better and people here are crazy about buying up all the essentials.

I'm getting to work and will enjoy a lunchtime walk with Taz in the sunshine. Have a great day everyone.

Hello girls!
What a strange time! My most favorite Instagram influencers are posing all about the toilet paper crisis at England. Mr Kane is ironical as usual (I love this man so much, he always makes me laugh). Dominique from other side looks like she is really into this madness, but WHY?! I really don't care much. My house anyway is full with disinfectants and cleaning products. And the age of my hands is far forward than my actual age, because of them.
Everything is very chaotic. And I can't get it why stores are working, but theaters no, it no make sense to me! And all theens that aren't on school are now at cafeterias and stores. If the information here is correct kids aren't affected by the Coronavirus, which said to us that probably some of their other vaccines create immunity for this too.

The good side is that more people will stay at home and I hope on this O party no one to complain that is too busy with the outside life so to be serious here! I'm so exciting to see it is started and I already start to post my wish list!
Also lots of work and my family is watching more news that I wish to hear.

Chris, you allow to the dogs too much, L O L they should know who's the alpha. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying on good weather!

Nancy, Condolence to one of your friends ! And congrats for the baby of other! Live is so short, so I can't understand these people that are agree to put it on standby mode, games here are playing on empty stadiums :-x .

Kay, so nice that you're able to keep your plans unaffected from whole this madness! In my opinion that's the right way.

Trudy, blossoms are starting to come here too, and I guess the spring fatigue is not far away too :) ... So now kids will be block at home once again I guess? Poor Heather! Government have to pay to mothers like her, affected by others' laziness!

Rae, it's so exciting to start your retirement plans from now! I think my dad is more scared than happy from the free time he don't know what to do, crazy man!
