In like a lion, out like a lamb? That is much closer to how February began and ended even though that is the tradition for March. It is going to warm and drizzly here- in the 60s. I wonder what it will be like by the end of the month.

I am going to do this quickly, I am really feeling the Tindamax effects today. I hurt all over. As much as my back hurt over the last weeks, it was easy to use a heat pack and pain patches. This is just all over pain and tenderness. My poor knuckles are so swollen. It sucks. It is what it is.

I had planned on cleaning my house today but that isn;t going to happen. If I can get my headache under control I will do some work in my office. I finished all of out taxes yesterday but printed all three of the State returns incorrectly. Then I have to file for a property tax freeze that we are eligible for since Gary is disabled. For those of you not in the NJ area (Nancy will agree with me on this--), our Property taxes are insane. We pay about $8,000 a year on a 100'x50' lot and we don't have water or sewer. Towns that have public water and sewer will pay way more than that as will towns in more suburban and urban areas. We moved up here because the cost of housing was much less than where we were living before. The freeze caps the amount of taxes we have to pay which is good because while I was doing out taxes, I realized that our income last year was less than the year before. And Gary gets less net pay per month in 2017 for Social Security than he got the year before because his Medicare premiums went way up. Ugh- I hate paying bills and doing taxes. So depressing.

Anyway, that is about it. Sorry for being cranky (again). I am like clockwork, by Tuesday afternoon I start feeling crummy from Tindamax and Wed, I am shot to some degree or other. Last night I was helping Caitlyn find a pill that she had dropped on the floor, and Ray's nails clicking on the linoleum almost had me hit the ceiling. And here it is Wed... :help:

Have a super super day!!

Nancy- how frustrating it must be to see the refs blowing calls like that all of the time. That is good news about Luther, it is always worrisome when pets hurt and they can't tell you how or why. Hope he didn't give you too much of a hard time on a short walk.
When does Charles move into his new place? Must be weird for you.
For sure- wishing we could decide where out taxes go. Mine sure as heck would not go towards increasing our Defense spending. PS: Not sure where you sit on the policial spectrum and you don't have to answer, but if you are a Reg Dem, check out Jim Johnson for Governor in the primary. I am liking what I see of him so far.

Trudy- I am seriously flabbergasted at how our weather patterns are reversed this year. Crazy that you got more snow.
Yup- kids laughing over farts/butts/boobies LOL

Rae- hope that you got all of the files done that you needed to do.It is a double edged sword when you lose me time over money.
Congrats to Jen- hope that the job works out for her!

Sharon- Ok, do I want to ask about chickens and Mardi Gras floats? Is this a live chicken, a rubber chicken, a cooked chicken??
I bet it must feel like Christmas, all of the hectic craziness and gets to be too much.

Hugs to everyone!

good morning - today is a fun day as it is trade deadline day for the NHL. And Canada does an all day show on who is or is not traded. I find it interesting and fun. I learn so many unnecessary facts about players and the teams. My team is in the sellers category so I expect some to leave but have not heard much. Luther was so much better by the end of the day. He slept all morning and then woke for a quick walk around lunch time but still not feeling that good but then in the afternoon after another good sleep he was really happy to go for a walk and it was a good walk. And this morning he was a happy dog and got in a good walk. Today our weather is warm but cloudy and expecting rain by lunch and then thunderstorms in the afternoon. So glad we got out already. We met two sets of Cranford township workers clearing drains before the rain. Luther was so happy because both sets loved meeting him and petted him.

Chris so sorry you are in such pain. I am impressed that you know you are going to be in pain yet still know you have to take the antibiotics. And yes each year my property taxes would buy the home my parents bought in the 60s. As far as politics goes I am an independent and vote basically on social issues and environmental issues. I am not ready to start looking at who will be our next governor just yet.

Trudy wow more snow! Glad it is mostly melted! Have fun shopping for Sadie! And those Canadiens got the call again last night. In OT the refs call a penalty on the Blue Jackets on what was just a battle for the puck. Of course the Canadiens score. You are right something stinks in the NHL. But on the good side Boston is looking really good under their new head coach.

Rae congrats to Jen on getting her foot in the door. That is awesome. Glad you are getting all the extra work done!

Sharon I am like Chris why did you have to get a chicken - is it a live chicken? Glad you got to the parade in the nick of time! Have fun scrapping.

Have a great first day of March - where did February go?

Morning O-zies!! Off to my hike today which is to Meades Creek, not far from here and very near where my sister lives. It is a mild morning and so far no rain so lets hope it stays that way and we can get in another great hike!

Chris - My poor faery friend, I am so sorry that you are hurting so much again today! I hope that you make it through the day without too much going on and that tomorrow will be a better day for you! Yikes your property taxes in your area are INSANE!! I though ours were high, but your's take the cake!! Ouch!! Yes it is depressing paying bills and doing taxes, ranks right up there with death!! At least you got them done though!

Nancy - Glad to hear that Luther is feeling much better today and that he got some loving from the township workers! How nice! Yes DH and I watched as the Canadians got the break that they needed to once again win. The only way that they can win is by cheating!! So maddening to see such obvious bad refing!! Yes what a difference in the Bruins with their new coach, they are like a different team. Wonder what will happen when they have to play Montreal again :becky: Enjoy the Canadian T.V. today!

Rae - Wow lots of work coming your way, nice for the pocket book, but sorry that it takes away from your Me time! Diet is going well so far and I have already dropped a couple of pounds, not craving carbs yet, but having a difficult time with what to have for lunch?? So used to sandwiches etc LOL. My tummy is much happier for not having the grains though! I haven't peed so much in my life LOL. I realize that I do need to drink so much more water though and so far have only suffered with a slight headache so hopefully will not get the Keto flu! Congrats to your daughter for her new job, hopefully it will turn into something much better for her too!

Sharon - Ha, Ha, you have us all wondering what the heck is with the chicken?? Hope you get to rest after all that activity with Mardi Gras !

Ok I have to pack my lunch and get my backpack ready to go. Please send any sunshine this way today! Oh and I managed to find some really cute things for Sadie's birthday her other Grandma is going up to help with the party so she will take the gift there for me. Can't believe she will be 7 years old already, soon she won't want anything to do with us old farts and that makes me sad! Maybe she will be one of the rare ones that actually likes to spend time with her grandparents who knows LOL. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Need to get to work now and have a few CT duties to get done right away. It was nice to make some extra money last month but boy, it sure took its toll on me with time management and of course the settling in of my daughter here. We are all getting into a flow now but I think as long as she is here, I'll be on the computer a little less b/c we spend more time chatting and hanging out together. That's a good thing, I am happy with that and don't need to be online as much.

I ordered a lovely glass carafe to put my 60 oz of water (my keto diet minimum) with some lemon and a few drops of stevia. I can leave that on the counter all day and just keep refilling my bottle from it. It will give me a better idea of how much fluid I am drinking. I also have 16 oz of spirulina and psyllium husk drink in the morning and a keto electrolyte replacement drink at lunchtime. Whew...that's a lot of liquid LOL. My body has adjusted and now I am not running to pee every 10 minutes, thank god. I sleep through the night just fine now.

Chris - ugh, so sorry you are in pain. Hugs.

Nancy - enjoy the sports stuff today.

Trudy - have a wonderful hike.

Sharon - so the parade was fun? Are you tired now?

Off I go to get some work done and then some CT stuff done. Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Hi everyone. I am laughing hysterically about the chicken. It's Popeye's fried chicken and it is a New Orleans and a Mardi Gras favorite. Everyone brings it to the parade route! lol It's really good! the even open early on Mardi gras day so you can order over the phone and come in and pick it up!

Rae- we want to see your new face! Glad you and your daughter are enjoying chatting and hanging out.

Chris-sorry to hear you are in pain. I did so much walking over Mardi gras that my knee starts hurting sooner on my walks. yuck!

nancy- glad Luther is feeling better.

Trudy- hope you have a great hike
