CHEERY O
Ummmm, I am not liking the date- we are marching through June very quickly. Although, again I ask- what is time?? :ohwell:

I messed up. I thought that Arlene's birthday was Thursday but it is today which means she won't get her card in time. I will make sure to text her. But at least I got the card done and that counts for something, along with the two loads of laundry and bill paying and weeding and dinner and scrapping another LO for Friday. We also took the dogs for a walk. It was just Cait and me and we tried to go with W and J. J wanted nothing to do with the walk so we brought her home and took R instead. She was very happy and did her little walk/run/walk. It was a short walk so she isn't stiff today.

Gary just asked me if I had plans for today. See above:^^

Sorry that I am so boring!
We did pick our next Theme Night. It is going to be a luau. We already have coconut rum and pina colada mix so that is a start.

Gratitudes:
-the weather!
-uhhhhh....
-my family!!!

Trudy- I saw the LO on FB and OMG- what a huge difference in the kitchen, it looks fantastic! Truly!! How nice to get the sunshine yesterday and I hope that you get the same today for your hike. IMHO, I think that hiking is *very* productive.
Sorry that Isaac's card didn't get there, I hope he gets it soon. What did the family do for him?
Good luck getting your Gary to plant the raspberry bushes, yes, it will save money. Are raspberries hard to grow? We are watching Scott's blueberries carefully. So far, there are a lot on the bushes, but as soon as they get ripe, the birds will swoop in.
That is such a neat idea to bring something to hang on the tree on the trail! Make sure that you get a pic to share with us.

Nancy- the Impact of Women sounds like it was a fascinating documentary. I follow a Scottish historian on Twitter who writes threads on Scottish women who have done amazing things. I wish history was not so male-centric.
Luther must be thrilled with the weather. It is perfect for him.

Kay- fab news about the BP meds!! My mom is still having to switch her's up. She saw her cardiologist yesterday and I can't keep track of the changes. It has to be a relief to know that you are on the right track. Is the coughing all gone yet? I hope it is much better if not all the way gone.

Jean- any news on the car? Thank you -- and everyone-- for the good thoughts for my friend's DD. She is rooming with two of her friends that work at Disney. It makes me so anxious.
I think I would have a hard time not touching things when I am shopping. I tend to be very tactile- produce and clothing especially. So it is a good idea for me to stay out of the stores!

Felis-- hope you are well, don't worry about being "boring" or having nothing to say. Look at my post!

Hugs to everyone!
xoxo

Yesterday was a PJ day... not intentionally but it just happened that way. Realized that the phone call from the doc was too close so was going to wait to take my shower. Was trying to get a bunch of LOs uploaded to galleries after the call. The doorbell rang and it was DD#1. She had been in Arizona for the past 2 weeks. So we had a very long and fun time talking and getting caught up on all the news. Yes, doing the social distancing but was so wonderful to have someone to see and talk to. She even volunteered to cut my hair next week. She cut her DH's hair for years.. so knows what she is doing.

Yes, Chris, the coughing is much improved... think that what coughing is left is due to reflux. BP has been down in the range we want so that is good. Waiting to get the referrals then will set up those appointments.

Chris... saw the photo/LO of your theme night... what a hoot! The Luau sounds like it will be a really fun evening. BTW, if you have or can get a netting to cover your blue berry bushes, that will keep the birds from getting all the fruit. My BFF covers her peach tree with netting and that saves a lot of the fruit. Which reminds me.. I need to check out my plum tree and peach tree to see if there is any fruit ripening on them.

Trudy... WOW... saw the photos of the redo on the kitchen. What a difference the white paint made on the cabinets!!! Well worth all the effort - it looks fabulous now.

Jean, so sorry to hear about your car troubles. What a bummer that you had to walk to get groceries... glad the store was close by. The nearest one to me is over a mile away.

Need to get my shower then strip the bed and get the sheets washed. Will be a busy day playing catch up from what I didn't get done yesterday. Hope you all have a good day.
