MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
ound: No, I haven't lost my mind. Not completely at least. It is the family's Christmas in July Theme Day/Night. We had hoped to do some things last night too for Christmas Eve but yesterday seemed to -can't think of the right word to describe- get away from us all. We left out cookies for Santa and the kids tossed Cheerios on the lawn for out traditional reindeer food.
I have the croissants defrosted and OJ/champagne ready for out breakfast. We *melted* up in the attic yesterday looking for Caitlyn's small tree and some decorations. We wanted to find the Santa hats but it wasn't worth passing out from the heat. It has cooled off and my plan is to try again this morning.

Today's schedule is to have b-fast, decorate the tree. I need to wrap my presents. We did the scrounge the house for gifts- 3 for each family member. I think I have them all picked out, just need to wrap them.
Cait and I will be making some of the regular Christmas foods- buffalo fake chicken dip, spinach and artichoke dip, bruschetta, deviled eggs, cheese and crackers, fresh mozz and roasted red peppers. I was able to order GF crackers for Gary. we'll see how they taste. Nope, not we-- "he." He ate some of the GF pretzels and said that they tasted great as long as you thought of them as crunchy sticks with salt. hahaha!! Cait is making her homemade eggnog- plain for Gary, spiked for the rest of us.

I think that the kids picked Rudolph to watch tonight.
I am in the much-needed mood to laugh. As you can see, I am feeling back to myself. I had a few rough moments yesterday but keeping busy helped a lot. I think I was busy. Not entirely sure. I know that I went to the supermarket, sweltered in the attic. Worked on more computer issues. It locked up again on me and Gary things it *might* be overheating. He changed the fan speed settings after taking the cover off and dusting the inside out. I downloaded the new of ACDSee 2020 and got my old database converted/cataloged. I will see how it runs with everything else. Sale pricing is good until Aug 5.

So that is about it, I will do quick personals and then be off to celebrate!

Trudy- Bwuahaha!!! That was us at dinner last night. I asked if it was still Tuesday and if we really had gone to ShopRite that morning. It was such a strange day. It is funny that you and your Gary work so well together in house projects. I am so much happier painting on my own. That is so sweet to see the kids playing and swimming together. Has to be a kick in the gut though to not be there.
Has Mason tried ear plugs? We used ear wax for Caitlyn when she was little. She would get ear infections every three weeks like clockwork (infection/10 days of abx/week later infection again) and that is what her ped. recommended as it was pushed less into the ear canal than regular ones. I have no clue if that is still thing 20 years later though.
Did you schedule your whale watching trip? So exciting, I hope it is a really successful one. What type of whales are in your area?

Thank you so much for the info on leaky gut. I think I had researched that for him before when I was looking at gastroparesis - which can also be an issue for diabetics *and* Lyme patients. I will pass that info along. Part of him wants it to be celiac disease but again-- that would give him an answer. It must be so hard for him to feel miserable all of the time and not have a reason for it.
I am 100% with you on staying home and away from people when you can.

Good afternoon girls!
Nope I can't figure out nothing interesting to talk about. It's a so darn hot, and I'm melting! And already start to feels my 'natural' smell under the tons of chemicals I'm covered my body after the shower, as body lotion, antiperspirants, perfume and sun protection. I hate summer days so much! (The summer nights are the best!) This is why usually I live on switched mode and I'm active at night and sleeping at daytime. But now I'm trying to see do I'll be less tired if live in 'normal' human schedule. It's not turns good and I'm such a grumbler! Today I directly cut off my family from our afternoon talk, and now I feels like a real jerk. But I swear they text me the same things everyday! Absolutely the same nonsense as 'what you have for lunch', seriously?! I know you're bored but come on we can be more creative than that! The list with tasks in front of me is not moved much from the morning, and yes I'm not in good shape today :roll: LOL.
Looking through the window makes me smile as cats are sunbathing careless! I love my babies, BUT they treats me as a service staff! Yesterday Liam bites me, just because I'm crossing near to him till he eat. The prequel is that he came with thorn stuck in his tail, and cost me effort and a little bit pain for him to clear it. Thankfully it was attached only for fur and wasn't have a time to make wound. But the procedure was not pleasant for him. I'm trying to convince myself that they needs me, but honestly it's not looks like that in afternoon like this!

I'm sorry that you can't be on a beach! I can totally relate to that at the moment! I wish a could be fancy girl who walk naked around his :roll: house, drinking cocktails and dancing ound: . Honestly did someone stay naked in real life, or only top models do it? I know me and you can't do it because have parents/childs, but

Trudy, will be awesome if you took pictures. Some people prefer to be in the moment without capture it, but it's so much cool if can save it and share it with us! Oh, I wasn't realize you'll start immediately with the stairs. Your Gary is really productive! Love the stories about peeling away bubbles! Your kids are such a sweeties!

Good Morning ladies... Its going to be another sunny warm day and my DH is already on the roof, blowing out the gutters. Sheesh he hasn't even had breakfast yet :loco: oh well he wanted to get it done before it got way too hot on the roof. So another job off of his list of things to do. Later he will be washing the outside of the gutters, they are getting very black and grungy looking. Then when the front porch is out of the sun and in the nice cool shade, we will begin the painting of the stairs. Yesterday we did a bit more sanding and scraping and now they are all bare and ready for the new coats of stain. We took a drive to Cowichan Bay and checked out the times and cost of the Whale Watching and will compare it to the one in Victoria to see which one we will decide on. Nothing is ever done with my Gary without researching EVERYTHING first!!! :doh: Been enjoying getting pics of kids all having fun in the pool at Jason and Jackies! Should have some good ones for the 2021 calendar!

Chris - Merry Christmas to you all LOL. What a fun time you will be having! I sure hope that the temps are a bit better for your festive evening! It is so good to hear that you are in a much better place in your mind!! I hope that your Gary enjoys his GF crackers and that you find out just what is going on with his tummy! Rae is right, he probably has leaky gut! I know I did too and then I changed my eating habits. Some days I try to cheat, but then I sure pay for it!!

Rae - How nice to see your smiling face here again! Good advice to Chris and her hubby! Hope you enjoy a lovely birthday with your beautiful daughter! Happy Birthday to her!!

Felis - Sorry you are sweltering in the heat and yes we all get a bit boring, saying the same things over again everyday LOL. I always ask Heather what they had to eat too and I am sure it drives her crazy!! I love that picture that you linked us to, wouldn't it be lovely to wander around your home naked like that LOL. good afternoon - Hockey is back. Yesterday 3 games, today 4 games and tomorrow more. The funny part is that while the games are happening in Canada the Canadian TV did not show the Flyers/Penguins game. A lot on twitter were not happy! LOL These games are just exhibition so that was the excuse. But today they have decided to add some games. I have gotten in some nice walks but have not been in the mode to cook. Luckily we have had some frozen stuff I could just pop in the oven. I am now on the last episode of season 5 of Longmire and there are only 6 seasons. I really need to scrap. I have met twice on my walks people one just relaxing by the river and another pair exercising and I asked both if they could be my picture of the day. They both were surprised and happy. It is nice to interact with people even if it is at a distance and behind a camera.

Chris Merry Christmas! You day sounds so fun. Love to hear tomorrow what those gifts were. I bet they will be clever. Sure hope Gary's stomach is improving. That was awesome of Rae to give you some other things to try.

Trudy have fun to get photos from the kids swimming. I love to check out my son's photos so I can scrap them. You and your MG sure are busy. As was said it is really sweet that you and your Gary work so well together.

Felis I am sorry the hot is getting to you. And you are so right the summer nights are wonderful! Sorry about the thorn in the tail. You are a great pet parent.
