Oh wow, it looks like we are having a perfect weather day here in NJ and guess where I am going???
The Shore!!!!!


My mom and I are heading down to Belmar for the day. She is probably more excited than I am. too. We went for the day in June but not to swim or stay on the beach. Then she went down with my dad a few weeks later and he hates the beach so they just went out for lunch and walked on the boardwalk. But this time, we get to sit in the sand. I am hearing that the water has warmed up a lot which is good becasue last month is was brutally cold.
I am also looking at this as a dry run for next month when I go to Wildwood with Scott and his GF. I'll make sure that my chair and cooler will work ok and all that good stuff.

Guess I should get going, I have to leave in a few. I hope that you all have the bestestest day ever

Oh Trudy, hoping that you get some rain. I was so happy when it rained yesterday b/c we would be getting the same problems..... all very dry. You must be so happy that Mason is coming!!!! How many weeks will he be? Around 6? He'll be doing so much more when you get to see him!!
Ugh about all of that walking and not losing any weight. I figure if I can lose now and try to not let it creep back, maybe I would have to worry as much as I get older? *hopeful*
I also wonder if the Lyme has messed with my thyroid again and that is why I am losing the weight so easily...hmmmmmm. I test hyperthyroid, but I have hypothyroid symptoms. Next time I see my dr I'll see if she wants to run more blood work..... Although I am quite happy losing the lbs and I am so used to being cold that it doesn't matter to me. Maybe I don't want her to find out and try to fix it. hahahah!!

Phyllis- ooooh have a wonderful time away!!!! Hope you got everything packed and ready!!!

Morning!! I said... Good Morning!!!! :horn:Geee where the heck is everyone?? I guess you are all either in bed or on some wonderful summer getaway? Not me I am just hanging around home today and doing the exciting job of sterilizing and rinsing wine bottles. I have to get them done so that MG and I can bottle the Sauvignon Blanc that should have been done a week ago. Then I hope to get downtown and check out a little shop that had a cute little summer dress that I want to try on. Tomorrow the In-Laws are coming here, they want me to take a few pictures of them for their 60th Anniversary which they celebrate on August 10th. Hopefully I can do a good job for them. They are not the most photogenic people and have a hard time not closing their eyes and for some reason FIL always seems to have his tongue sticking out in most of the photos??? LOL :tongue: Not sure what to do to remedy that??

Chris - Have a wonderful day with your Mom in Belmar!! I hope that the weather is just perfect for you and you get in a super relaxing day!! You deserve it!! No :rain: in sight for us for quite a while I'm afraid. Its going to be tinder dry here shortly :scared: Oh and my little Mason will be exactly 2 months old on the day he arrives at Grandma and Grandpa's house, so excited to see him and Isaac and Sadie too!!! :laugh: It will be a happy house!!! BTW I finally got that picture of myself on the beach scrapped yesterday .

Morning is long gone, but with so few comments, I can at least say Hi!

I'm still at the college in Pittsburgh having a great week and class. Hope everyone is doing fine.
