Surprise!! I am here!!! Because, as you know, my life is *never* simple.
Cait and I started packing our stuff up around noon yesterday when my MIL called to ask if we knew if there was a contingency plan for bad weather for the hearing. Thank goodness that she did or we would be trekking in the snow to a hearing that had been postponed. Cait emailed the DA and she seemed surprised that we didn't know that. Apparently, there was a letter sent out but we don't think we ever got it. Neither of us remembers and I think that is something that we would.
I was very happy to unpack my stuff and I know Cait is relieved that she isn't missing her first day of classes. She isn't thrilled that she has to drive to school in the snow. I am a bit surprised that her first class hasn't been delayed but I heard the snow plows go past my street already so she should be ok.
When I went to bed last night, there was only a small amount of snow and there is maybe 3" at most. I will never complain about the weather forecast being wrong when we get less snow than predicted.
I have no plans for today. I will keep an eye on Kibs and work on a scrap page if I am up to it. Kib is still the same, a little more yellow each day but tomorrow we will know more. Good news or bad, at least we will know what we are dealing with.
Ginny- the woman from my vet's office- has been a big help and I honestly don't know how she runs a kitty hospice. She lost a little guy just the day before. It would break my heart into a million pieces over and over.
I am going to post this now since I have no idea as to what I typing/saying. I am beyond exhausted and I might need to cave and take a nap.
(pfft- so much for trying to get myself on track with healthier habits like yoga...)
"Tomorrow is another day," to quote Scarlet O'Hara... wise words.
love to all of you!
