Happy Hump Day! I am going to try and keep my eyes open today, I am both "adrenalized" and exhausted at the same time. I had more insomnia last night but no spooky voices, thank goodness. Whew. The adrenaline is from getting an email this morning from my dad that just had the word "Mom" as the subject. I think I was primed for that anxiety attack b/c Ray looked like she wasn't breathing again this morning. Yup- a roller coaster of a morning and is only 7.30.:faint:

I am so glad that I wrote down what my plan was for yesterday here because I did clean out the cabinet and if you asked me when I did it, I think I would have said days ago, not yesterday. ha! I did that, more loads of laundry watched some of the news on and off. I can not wait for it to be spring so I can go and work in the garden. I decided that some of the money I got for Christmas I am going to use *early* to get the yard looking nice. Replace some of the planters that are broken, some new plants.

Not much happening today, I have to pick up my groceries, call my mom, and make some dog treats. Scott is coming back today, he called to yesterday to say that they were sort of starting to pack to come back but he didn't sound like he really wanted to. I told home that absolutely nothing was happening here so if he or Leah didn't have to come home, then stay the extra day. I miss him but am so much happier when he is happy.

That is about it from me- same old same old, throw in some chaos and then same old same old again. That about sums it up!:p

May your day be more exciting, but only in good ways, than mine!

Jean- Hi! hope you had a nice day out in nature and that you got to see some cool birds. Did the sun ever poke out a bit?

Kay- what is wrong with PJ days??? I fully support! haha!

Trudy- See^^ No reason for anyone to wear real clothes anymore, PJ days for everyone!
How are Heather and the boys? Is Hunter sleeping any better yet?
Please tell us that the oven is fixed...

Felis- I don't think we have) a word like "daynightish" but that works for me. I would use "past 24-hours" as a phrase. And YES, that always happens to me- the days seem to slip out of my hands, and all of my plans go haywire. Lucky for me, my family can't fire me- but hopefully, your boss will be nice.
J does that with her bowl too- picks it up, ruins around the house with it, and as soon as I go to the dog food bucket, she drops it on the floor. Silly pups! I hope that one day you get a pic of Middleton doing that!
I am sorry to hear that your country us having floods :( An old friend of mine told me that just because other people are experiencing hardship, that doesn't make yours any less.
Thank you for the support about my mood and weight!!! I am pretty sure it is all tied in together with the stress and the pandemic and the political upheaval in the US. I need to nap for a year or so. heh.

Linda- Time really really goes past too quickly. Scott is 24 and has been with his girlfriend for 8 years now and Cait is 22 and is in grad school. My babies!
Do your kids let you take lots of pictures of them still?

Better get going. I need to get in the shower before I head over to the supermarket.
Hugs!

Morning ladies... I have to get this post done in a hurry as the power is flickering here and there are a lot of places without power this morning! It has been blowing like crazy for most of the night and the morning. Sure hope the power stays on here! I actually got a page scrapped yesterday! Hooray for me! I can't post it just yet though as it was for a Pre-release. Well my oven is working again for the time being, but after having the repair guy here, he informs me that they don't do Warranty work for the make of my wall oven. REALLY??? You couldn't have told me that earlier?? So now I have had to schedule another repair guy to come who does Warranty work. So after this last guy came the oven worked for about 5mins and then stopped again OMG!! I called the other repair guy and he informs me that I have to schedule a repair through the company that makes the wall oven. Ok that is done but now we have to wait until the 18th of January. Still not sure if we will have to pay for any parts, but I bet we will. We just have no luck with this dam wall oven!! I am ready to just give up and never use it again! A piece of junk that is just an ornament as far as I am concerned!! So anyway as DH was placing the screws back in place on it, it started working again. I am afraid to cook anything in it, but did manage to get it cleaned, manually. I hate using chemical cleaners and had to use my face mask to avoid breathing in too much of the fumes :mmph: I clean my entire house with my Norwex products and only water, so had to purchase this nasty oven cleaner. Ok enough about my ongoing saga with the wall oven :tape: Not much to do today except get the painting varnished. I got it finished and it is dry, the client loves it, but I think it is ugly LOL. So not my choice of colour combos, but I am happy that she is happy with it. Now to get it varnished and shipped to her. Hope to do some more scrapping today and maybe get started on a birthday card for my Gary and one for Heather too. They both have birthdays in February.

Chris - Yup same old same old here too, but with the exception of crazy wind and even crazier appliances LOL. Heather and the boys are well, but they sure do need haircuts LOL Mason can barely see his hair is so long and hanging in front of his face. Hunter usually gets his burred right off, but because his brother is refusing to let his Dad cut his hair, then he is too. Darn kids!! They are in lockdown in Ontario so no Hairdressers are open. We had a nice long face time yesterday and they seem to be having fun together, but keeping their Mom very busy!

Felis - Yup I am with you in the same boat! The days slip away from me and I feel like there has been nothing accomplished! Hope your boss does not get angry with you at your next meeting! I am sure everyone is feeling the same way after all the holiday time! Hope that the flooding will stop for everyone! ITA with Chris, just because other people are experiencing hardship, that doesn't make yours any less. What a smart fairy she is! It must have been cute to see your Middleton walking around with his bowl in his mouth! He was letting you know that he was ready to eat!! Hope you are feeling more energetic today!

Linda - It really is surprising how quickly the kids have all grown and now for me its the grandkids, growing so fast and not being able to be there to watch it all happening is making it even worse! They are all so busy with trying to get online schooling figured out and missing their friends in the meantime. It is sad! This year needs to get much better!!

Ok I will wait to see if the grands will be face timing me this morning. So far the power has stayed on and it looks like the wind may be lessening, Hooray! Off to get another cup of coffee , anyone want to join me?? :tea: Have a great Wednesday everyone! Do something creative today!

Very quick lunch drive by here.

Chris---Scott is 24. Is that a joke? Oh my...and Cait in Grad school. Dang! My kids complain when I take pictures...but not terrible complaining so I keep going. Shaun had senior pictures and they turned out great. So I have some scrapping material. LOL And of course, I have the dogs. You will see them a frequently.

Trudy--the online school thing is crazy. I'm just trying to breathe. My two are back in brick and mortar but the school now has 10% of the kids quarantining so that has me stressed out.

I went shopping last night. I bought Adobe CC to scrap and to work with photos. So I need to watch a few tutorials tonight. And I also bought a designer collab...that was always the best value in the O! And I think it probably still is!

Everyone have a good day!

Good early afternoon. Quick drive by for me, too. Need to make a run to the other house to download some files today. My hotspot won't accommodate anything more than uploading 600x600 layouts to the gallery and that's S-L-O-W.

Hope you all have a good day.

Wow... busy morning for me. Up and dressed and off to the grocery store by 8 AM. Not busy at all there. Came home and put the stuff away - then off to the produce market and quick stop at dollar store to pick up Toffee Popcorn packs. Then a 'quick' stop at Wally world LOL ... not quick at all as there were lots that I had to get. And the one thing that I really needed {thin disposal gloves} they didn't have. I use those gloves to protect my right hand when I shower. Only have 4 left so will have to check at a different store to see if they have them. But I do have fresh veggies and fruit and liquid flavored creamer so I am a happy camper. That took all morning. I did get some new style Band-Aids that are designed for fingertips and they fit and protect so much better than the straight style.

I bought eggplant, onions and zucchini so am going to make a casserole with them for supper. The first time I made that casserole, DH said he wasn't sure he liked it... then proceeded to eat 3 big helpings!!! It is one of my favorites, too.

Oh, Trudy... don't blame you for wanting to toss that wall oven out!!! Sounds like there is a major problem with it.

Chris, I know what you mean about days running into each other and losing track of what you did when.

Cheryl, sorry you don't have a good hot spot for internet. I am sure that is frustrating for you.

Got to take time to get some food. CYL

Good morning girls!
I had a lovely day. Not exactly special, but I don't think you've heard anything like this before  .
I actually got a page scrapped  ! But then when I tried to link the palette, Pinterest ask me to log in to be able to grab the link. I tried every possible variant of password unsuccessful, then give up and request to change the password, just to receive message that I'm not been registered there with this email. Yep, "Her mind is not, as sharp as all her diamonds" :heh:! I'm telling you lack of sleep blur the brain.
Also,
I decided that I am going to get the yard looking nice with some new plants. So I just received my early order for some seeds. (Hope to be able to get some bulbs next month too. But they are expensive.) Flowers, we need more flowers!!! At the previous year I wasn't able to buy plants on time, so this one will be prepared! As I'm not skillful enough to get good results from seeds I ordered few packages from each kind, and hope at less some of them to give results! I'm so excited! But, Spring, don't rush, I needs snow first! :pound:

Chris, so how is your mom, actually, you didn't explained this?
It's such a shame that it's illegal to send seeds via mail! I have collected (all right my mom have, it is the same) so many tagetes seeds and as I can put them in regular envelope it wouldn't be so expensive to send you some. How the people with etsy shops are able to do that?

Trudy, how funny about the boys haircut. I bet that if Mason watch how some youtuber or football star make his haircuts at home will change his mind! Learn who admire and find this video. I was laugh a lot on your idea for oven as ornament! Its reminds me for one of my favorite TV series "The Middle". And also can you keep a secret? I still use one small broken oven as cabinet ::alien Don't tell anybody, I hide it at the cat house! Hope they will be able to fix yours without to ask you for astronomical amount! OMG, dont even make me start to talk about the chemical cleaning products! I can barely remember the time when we was so enthusiastic to clean only with sodium and vinegar, past year Domestos become my family best friend. I will not be surprised if I end naming some cat at this way :twitch:. Don't even want to show you my nails. :tape:
Do hope that the power stays on!

Kay, grocery is annoying, but I bet you feels proud from so many tasks crossed off! Such a warm story about the casserole! I'm tell this before, but I can't understand when some of you explain how much now she miss the hugs, my family never hug or kiss, we show love by cooking! So this make your story to sound even more dear!

Cheryl, I hope you was able to download your files!

Linda, enjoy your new goodies!

The rain stopped so this was good day!
