Good morning, happy Wednesday and welcome to February!
Can I try to be optimistic *this* month? I tried really hard in the beginning of Jan. but lost that by the end.
I am so darn tired of everything breaking and for no apparent reason. Yesterday it was our printer. It worked fine one minute and then stopped the next. It isn't the printer itself, but the paper feed tray. Gary tried taking it apart, there was a spring loose, but after fixing it, it still won't grab the paper. And then I got our electric bill which doesn't have the Heating Assistance applied. I know we are in the program because I got a small check to put towards our oil bill. Why it didn't go through for a second month for electric is beyond me. And the point of the assistance is that I can't afford a $300+/month electric bill. Guess who I am calling today? And I also have to call my Breast Surgeon's office *again.* I called last week and they told me the mammo Rx was in the mail. I should have had it days ago. It isn't like I *want* to get my mammo done so why is the Universe making it harder? :rollpin:
That is how my January wrapped up so it might be a bit of a struggle to get out of that funk this month, but you know me, I will give it my best shot.
It snowed quite a bit yesterday which was unexpected. We were supposed to only get a dusting and we got more than that. Caitlyn had to drive home in it and I was nervous for her, she hadn't driven in the snow at all and she has to travel on some windy roads in the mountains. But she did good, said she slid a few times but was ok. Whew! That is one big test, the first time your kid drives in snow alone.
I was really happy about was dinner last night. It was yummy- lasagne and stuffed garlic bread. The whole family loved it which was an extra bonus.
Have a super day and month!!!
