Happy Wednesday to all of you. I know everyone is busy out and about and that is fantastic!

The kids got to the campground with no problems and went over to the amusement park last night. They only forgot 2 things that we know of- American cheese slices and a tub of butter, both of which can be easily gotten at a convenience store or probably even at the campground's "general store." The weather today is going to give them some trouble with some t-storms coming through the afternoon and evening. But they have a cabin with a covered porch area to stay dry. All of their clothes/bedding will also be dry inside the cabin. I remember too many times of getting soaked in a tent. That was never fun.

I was able to get all of my errands and food shopping done and back home before they left. I spent some time in the yard and took W for her walk before I popped some frozen pizza in the oven and watched a movie on Netflix with Gary. He is having his post-Tindamax cruddy days. I am not missing that at all.

Today I am cleaning and then probably sitting upstairs with the rats and Floyd. Clover is still eating and enjoys being pet so I am trying to focus on that. (please let her make it until Caitlyn gets home :( )

Have a fun day and stay cool!

Rae- I saw your bear picture on FB! How close was he? It was a great shot but damn, I would have been too startled to take it.

Did Taz's tummy hold up ok after snagging the meatballs? Poor little guy! Oh no, it should be-- bad puppy for stealing the food! Nope, poor little guy was right the first time :D
I hope that B starts to eat again, so good that she has you cooking for her.

Love to everyone!

Good morning, Chris and anyone else that's around but it looks like a quiet week with everyone busy with other things.

Crazy about the bear, huh? I was squatting down, moving further off the side path to try to get closer to the crane and thank goodness I caught movement in the corner of my eye. The bear saw me before I saw him and he was watching me intently. Had I not noticed him, I would probably would have crept another 4-6 feet closer. As it was, he was only about 18-20 ft away. I spoke softly and started backing up really slow. When I had backed up about 5 ft, I stopped and snapped a pic and then kept moving backwards. This is probably the bear that has been on our street almost daily this last month or two. There is another one with two cubs that is around too. We live 5 minutes from the mall and 2 minutes from a major busy road but we're along the river and there is a lot of bush/wilderness area around us so we get cougars, bears, coyotes and deer.

Today I'm making a chocolate spread for me and B. Its with hemp seeds, cacao, honey, cinnamon and coconut oil. Can't wait to have B try it. The next batch I'm going to put in some nut butter too for a bit of variety.

I won't have as much free time as I thought I would this week b/c the other girl is getting her computer serviced so my part time doctor asked me this morning if I would do her work today and tomorrow. Its good though b/c she'll be away for the next 2 wks after this week so it'll be a bigger paycheque from her, to balance out the almost zero paycheque coming after that.

Hope G feels better soon. Taz wasn't feeling well this morning and wouldn't eat or drink his goats kefir, so I think his body is reacting to the meatballs now. I don't feel sorry for him :) OK, ya, I do LOL. Poor little guy, his diet is so limited so those meatballs must have been like heaven for him. He's off to daycare today so hopefully he will run and play and feel better when he comes home tonight.

Have fun today hanging out with C's little critters. Hope Clover stays stable while C is away.

I'm getting to work now. Have a good day.

Uhh, I don't know how much to share and what to keep for myself. So I wrote and rewrote this post few times. Everything is so complicated and also applies to other people, so I can just be direct at public forum (especially after all happened here the last month, who knows who read this and how laugh on me; not as I really care, but still...). So yeah, I prefer to keep quiet here this days.

I cuted my hair alone, just like that in front of the mirror cut and that's it. Usually I'm not eccentric person, but everyone needs some eccentric days just for color.
The pragmatic side is that these few days was awful hot, and the long hair can't just be left to fall free. Now is just to the shoulder, and for awhile will have this asymmetric style, but mom will fix it at the weekend (did I mention that hairstyling is her hobby).
The philosophic side is much darker, but it isn't appropriate for these beautiful summer days.

Chris, I hope you follows the Rae's advice and will enjoy the quiet time without the kids. Make some fun stuff like no cooking day, or cup of wine under the stars whit Gary, something in that direction.

Rae, I'm not surprised that B don't want hospital food, good that they allows you to bring her home food! You should scrap these bear photos, I want to see it so much!

Jean , I'm a little bit worried that you're also very quiet here these days. Hope you're busy with some funny stuff!
