I was talking to Gary and Caitlyn, and said that I needed for the coffee to get into my brain and then I would start my day. Caitlyn responds with do you need help with the funnel. I had no idea what she was talking about, nor could I remember what I said that would connect. I guess that I am pretty tired!

I survived food shopping, amazingly. I think I have a decent amount of food ideas. I even remembered to soak the chick peas to make falafel tonight.
Derm went well, I;d say. We have a tentative answer to what the spots could be. It sounds kinda gross, but it is most likely an overgrowth of a skin fungus. We all have it but in some people, the body isn't able to keep it in check. I asked the dr if it could possibly be from immune issues, and she said that it could be. More Rx's and go back in 5 weeks.

She has been off the abx for strep since Sunday and already her throat is hurting again. Makes no sense!!!

Next up for me today is that I have to make the appt with the allergist. She has a week off between work ending and school starting so I am going to hope we can get in then. I am sure that will be a busy week, but it is what it is.

Car is in the shop, so I am stuck here- which is good since I want to get some work done outside. I know that I have complained about it before, but my town uses grit instead of salt when the roads get slippery. I don't mind that, but the grit piles up on the plants by the road and is killing them all. My goal for today is to get a bucket and scrape up as much of the grit as I can.Maybe my lilies will come back next year if they can get through it.

BTW- is anyone else having issues with Firefox? It is acting up on me, so I am using Chrome, which I don't really like.

Hope that you all have a wonderful fantabulous day!

Nancy- eesh! Glad you got sun- it was cold here, Cait texted me to ask if I could bring a hoodie to work, This morning-- freeeeezing!!!!! 58* when i got up. Ugh about the gyno- I am waaaaay overdue for mine, but it isn't a big priority since I don't have a cervix anymore and I get breast exams ever 6 months LOL I know, I still need to go in, I have my ovaries... and I am not even going to say a darn thing about my luck. :tape:
Luther is so smart, looking for the rabbits:) I can tell that Jaida's leg is feeling stronger, since she is always on alert for the buns and squirrels when we are out.

Jean- I am proud of you! That must have been a hard decision to resign but I am sure you will be happier and less stressed for it. This is something that I struggle with, when to say "no." I think most women are like that.

Rae- you day was like mine. I added al of the Bill Due Dates to my Planner and OMG, it is so scary ha! This is the last month (I think, I HOPE we get this month!!!) of Caitlyn's Social Security Disability as a Minor/Dependent. I can't think about losing that much money a month but it will all work out. It will. (It HAS too!)
As much as you will miss Avav it will be nice to have one less responsibility for a bit. You need to be able to recuperate after last month.
The BBQ sounds nice and yummy too!

OK- way late... TTYS!!!

Morning ladies... someone had me up super early this morning LOL!! Such a cutie but hard to keep him quiet while others sleep. Sadie is a great sleeper and not much of a morning person so i try to keep Mason quiet while she sleeps, hard to manage :becky: Having so much fun with the kids and grands. I said I needed a little time to get things posted here this morning, so Heather is doing her best to keep her little man occupied. Wish I could stay here longer and catch up some more, but only a little over a week and I should be back to my old boring life. Weather is not cooperating for us the past couple of days and it looks like the birthday party for MIL will be rainy... Ugh!! 27 people to try to keep happy on a rainy day?? This was supposed to be only a close family thing, dam SIL has turned it into another reunion which we did not want to happen!!!! But that is another can of worms! Hope that you are all having a great Wed!! I miss you all!!

Good morning, ladies. I just got back from dropping Taz off at daycare. He didn't even realize where we were until I opened the car door and then he had this crazed look in his eye, he got all giddy and was jumping around in excitement. When we got thru the door, the girl greeted him and he just threw himself at her LOL. He sure loves it there. I know he loves Ava and his time with her at the park but the daycare is just his really happy place. Work turned out to be super busy yesterday and will be again today. Turns out that the vacationing girl isn't ready yet to work so I'm doing a few more days and then the doctor will be away on holidays for a bit, so I just need to get through the next 2 days and then....back to normal. At least the work is easy, I don't mind it....it's just the long hours. No complaints though b/c the extra money makes up for less money while she's away. I think dinner today is going to be spaghetti and meatballs. I've been craving that. Lunch is going to be a big salad. I haven't been eating as many veggies as I should lately. It's so easy to start sneaking in more potatoes/rice so I need to cut back on those. With my thyroid disease i have to be careful not to overdo the carbs or I just keep gaining weight.

Chris - that sucks about the fungal infection with Cait and her mono-like symptoms but hopefully it can be treated and cleared up soon. I think with compromised immune systems, it just opens up our bodies to all kinds of complications and makes us so much more susceptible. Hope she is feeling better soon. I don't use firefox, I'm ok with chrome. I'm used to it. I had to give up firefox a few yrs ago b/c it just kept giving me problems.

Trudy - so good to hear from you. Enjoy your last week with the family. That sucks though about the rain for the birthday party. Hope it all works out.

OK, I'm off to get some CT work done and then get started on my job so hopefully today will be a bit easier than yesterday (I worked until 9:30 last night..ugh). Have a wonderful day, everyone.

good late morning! Got a late start on the day. My son made me angry and so I just did some cleaning and took Luther on a walk. Got some scrapping done and so the album is coming along. Not much else on my agenda.

Chris glad you survived grocery shopping. I find it so hard. I did make burgers and they came out great! Interesting about Cait and her skin problems. Makes sense that her immune system is off so this could happen. Hope she feels better soon. And wow 58 is way cooler than we were. We were upper 60s. It seemed like a fall day and I am not ready for that.

Trudy glad you are having so much fun! Cant wait to see your pages when you again have time to scrap.

Jean so glad that you have created more time for yourself while still being involved in your genealogy club.

Have a great day all!

Chris, cheering you on to get the caffeine funneled in!:cof2: At least you got through the food shopping.

Trudy, good to see you here for a bit. I know you'll be sad when you have lots of time for the O again. Family! what can you say? Good luck with the rainy day gathering.

Rae, Taz must have been one happy doggie! Sounds like you'll have some more time soon too. Nice.

Nancy, I am so enjoying your trip pages. That must have been so wonderful.

Yesterday I goofed off after a bit to read some of a mystery and after dinner we watched "Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot." If you expect a comedy, it isn't! Tina is good but I could never really not see the hand of the author and the way it made her look good. Odd name change as she is Kim Barker but in the movie Kim Baker. Maybe Nancy had a similar reaction to the book which I haven't read. I was interested that it is filmed in New Mexico.
