The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
ahhhhhh! I am having a much better morning today than yesterday. Thank all of the gods for that! I must have been having one hell of a flare because I was nothing but a ball of pain and crank. I made it to the beach for an hour or so with my book, but even sitting there hurt.

Today the kids and I are off to the Lakota Wold Preserve in NJ. We went years ago before Gary got sick and its just so beautiful to see the wolves. Of all the wild animals, wolves are the ones I admire and relate to more than anything else.
Every year my parents take the kids on an outing before they go back to school. Its getting harder to choose a place as they get older (the kids, not my parents!) but the Wolf Preserve will be a good one for all of us. Its hard to get photos but I am going to do my best. Last time we went I had a regular film SLR, so I was limited on how many pics I was able to take. This time I have the DSLR and I am gonna go crazy! :photo: :boom:

I better make sure that the kids are up, they haven't had to be up this early all summer!

I wish that I could get in the pen with the wolves and they would let me love on them :D
I want to get good pics!!!
I wish Gary would be able to come with us.... someday, right??
Still wishing for that vacation.....

Chris!!wolves!?? WOW! they are so gorgeous. they are my idea of the Perfect Dog. except people have tried to domesticate them, and it didn't turn out well for anyone. they are just tremendous, beautiful animals. take LOTS of photos!!

wow, it's COLD here in the mornings recently. i've been putting on fleece or my down vest when i go outside to do my roundandround walking. these kinds of days are my favorite, though. in the mid 70s during the day, and cold enough at night to have to close some windows. i outsmarted the mourning dove this morning. i woke up before HE did! it makes for waking up in a better mood when you're not awakened my hooting right over your head.

today? gotta go get my face waxed so as not to look like The Bearded Lady or a werewolf. :ohwell: when i was 30, i never would believe that i would have to be doing this.... age does bizarre things to a body. believe me. then i think i have some shopping to do. gonna try to find some stuff that will fit in a 6x9 envelope that i can send to my new sponsored sweetie, Abigail, in Bolivia. 6 years old and just adorable.

Happy Wednesday, O-friends!

Morning O people!

Chris- sounds like a wonderful place to spend the day. Enjoy the time with your parents and kids and hope you get plenty of great photos.

Phylis- the temps sound perfect and wish I lived somewhere with those temps all year long. No reason to hibernate because it is too hot or too cold when the temps are in the 70's. Enjoy your day and enjoy shopping for your little friend.

Running some errands and off to the post office to mail my mom some new note cards I printed for her. BTW- she is 95 and they did a memory test the other day with her at the assisted living facility. They asked her 32 questions and she answered 31 of them correctly!:)....................I'm not sure I would have scored that high!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

DONNA!!! I know I would not have answered that many correct!!!! :pound: WOW!!! she is a sharp lady!!! How awesome, and you are wonderful to send her note cards...I am sure she enjoys them!!!!

Phylis....I am with you...those are the best days!!! We are having similar..just temps are just a tad higher....upper 70's in the day and cool at night to actually need a light blanket....It feels wonderful...but however...it's very very strange weather for us here...it's usually scorching hot!!! Guess we got all that in June/July!!! No complaining though!!! good luck with the waxing....I am lucky that the women in my family don't have that issue....none of them....but you know how that goes...I could actually be looking at a gorilla in the mirror anyday with my luck!!! :pound:

Chris.....((((((GENTLE HUGS))))))))) sorry for you pain!! We both need a very warm tropical setting ..... would help the pain for sure (even it means little glasses with umbrellas to do it :becky:) Oh your "field trip" sounds awesome!! I wanna go!! I think wolves are such beautiful animals too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike catches a few photos on her deer trail cams sometimes....I love seeing them!!! Oh, he caught some more baby bears last week.....they were playing and wrestling around...so cute!!! Have fun!!!

You ladies are smart cookies....yes my fave color these days is SCHOOL BUS YELLOW!! :pound: It was so nice to have a quiet house for 7 hours....well, we were gone for a few of them...did our grocery shopping...but I am just estatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both kids had a good first day....Jaiden just says she doesn't want to "spend the night" (take a nap is what she is talking about...I think).

Today...I am going to clean the house, so we can get started tomorrow on a couple of projects.............

Have a great day girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donna, i'd probably get about 10 right answers! she's amazing!

Nana, glad you enjoyed your "Silence is Golden" time! i'm HAPPY for you !

Morning ladies... Looks to be sunny again today, I love this time of year! Cool in the evening so you can sleep, but still pleasantly warm during the day. The trees are looking very stressed now and starting to turn color early, we've had no significant rain for weeks. Enjoyed every minute of my day off yesterday, got some scrapping done, although could not post any except one. Looking through all of my photos makes me miss everyone :hurt:

Chris - glad that you are feeling a bit better today, hope the Wolves feel your love for them and come out of hiding for some great shots for you! Enjoy your time with your parents and kids. Wish your hubby could join you, hopefully that will happen soon!!

Phylis - LOL on outsmarting that Dove this morning!! I would have used a sling shot on the poor thing, but maybe I should save that sling shot for my Boss instead!! :brick: :heh: Waiting for the day when I might have to have some waxing done, but like Nana, no one in our family is like that and it seems like I don't even have to shave my legs anymore, my hair seems to be in a no grow stage, my eyebrows keep disappearing on me and I have to get them tinted all the time, the hair is there its just so blonde now??? :noidea: You are right the body does weird things as we age!! Hope the rest of your day goes well!!

Donna - Wow! your Mom is one smart cookie!! How nice that she still has it all together, I hope that I can say the same when I am her age, but I don't think I would have passed that test today either. Sadly dementia is one thing that seems to run in our family. Yikes I better do all I can to prevent that from happening! You are a great daughter for doing those note cards for her, I bet she just loves getting them from you!

Nana Linda - Sooo happy for you that you are getting some free time! Enjoy the peace and quiet!! What projects are you planning? I hope that now the kids are in school things will be calmer for you and your MG!! Enjoy your day my friend!!

Well I am working a 9:45 -6:15 shift today, not exactly part time hrs :mmph: Spent part of my day looking for another job yesterday, not much out there, but I am applying for a part-time position at a bank in Mill Bay, about a 15min. drive from here. Wish me luck!! Have a great day everyone!!
