I am sorry I have been so MIA lately. Some of it has been physical- being away and offline. But a lot has been that I have been in a funk and have been trying to escape my head, IYKIWM.

I have just been exhausted and stressing out way too much. As the summer gets closer to the end, I wonder where the heck it went? And all of the hopes I had of "de-stressing" and recuperating before the stress of back to school restarts are gone. I have been here what? 5 years? I bet that it you go back through my August 2006-2010 posts, I say the same dang thing. LOL

I am in a rut, and when that happens, I have such a hard time scrapping. Its even hard to comment onother people's LO's because it makes me feel even worse- as inthe Why am I so untalented and uncreative? I know that is not 100% true, but it feels that way sometimes.

Anyway- I have been quiet, trying to not be a downer, but look at me now :bolt:

Laurie- oh wow!! 31 years! Congrats. What is your secret? heh! Did you have special plans?

Eva! I scrolled down so I see that YMG is home and doing ok. That is a relief that it was not his heart. I hope that they can find out what it is, or maybe it is just one of those things that go away on their own?
Double good news with your son and the dentist. I have a friend who's DD is 5 and has ADHD and anxiety and is the same way w/ dentists.
Meanwhile, Scott had two cavities filled yesterday. he took one look at the Novocaine needle and said no way. he had them drilled with no Novocaine and said he was fine. He's probably right- that Nov. needle hurts!

Trudy- It will be quiet for sure. I can only imagine how much you miss your g-babies. Even after spending 5 days w/ my parents, my mom calls me yesterday to ask when she can see them again. How was your lunch?

(psst- what is it w/ Christmas stuff coming out already??? No!!!!)

Eva- please eat and take care of yourself! I tend to be the same way, stress makes me not able to eat. Hope that today is a great day for you, you deserve it!!

BlueBell- Thanks for the tip I am off to check out your blog next :)

Hope that everyone has a fab day. I am off to go food shopping (UGH!! It is a huge list this time and everything has gotten so darn expensive) then hopefully the beach. We had three straight days of rain, so it is good to see the sun!

Oh WOW I really miss reading these posts! Faerywings I'm so sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it. I go through the same stuff periodically.

Yeah Summer has just flown by, I too wonder where it went. Here in San Jose we really haven't had much of a Summer weather wise, which is a good thing I guess since the rest of the country has been going through a heat wave.....give me cool anytime!

I have been away from Oscrap, but decided to come back and get involved with this wonderful community again. Hoping everyone has a great Wednesday, I know I will....;>)

DH has been home from work today - I more or less had to force him. Men! His pain is a bit better, he's on meds. He's going to work tomorrow - can't keep him home any more.

Hi Ladies.... beautiful sunny day here today and I don't have to work so horray!! Heather and I are off to get a spa pedi today, can't wait!! My feet are so in need of some TLC. Should be a great day!

Chris - I hope you get out of your funk soon!! Do like Eva says and scrap about it, it is wonderful therapy!! We love you and only want you to be happy again!!

Eva - aren't our men funny?? They can be so stubborn!! But you gotta love them!!

well, home from work early- at 10:25 one of my little pt's decided he was made at me and went to slap my face- he got me in the eye with his fingers- so yet another trip to occ health, more pee testing another 000 breathalyzer test and a visit with my opthamologist- I have a corneal abrasion. My good eye started to tear up every time my icky eye started to hurt- so I left work early- made it almost all the way home and then it was touch and go with tearing. I am home, have napped and now can open it without major issues, or I would not be on here. It almost feels scrap worthy!
