Happy Hump Day, O-Fam!

It's another dark and gloomy morning. Of course, I had two pool days scheduled yesterday and today. Maybe it will clear up by this afternoon, you never know.*fingers crossed for some sun*
I woke up in a *mood.* Exhausted and so depressed. I couldn't get back to sleep but stayed with my face smooshed into my pillow a little longer. I must have been having a bad dream because I am fine now. Nothing that I can remember so it wasn't super wild like they usually are LOL.

House update for Cait: They officially canceled the contract yesterday. The owner's lawyer said that the septic had *not* failed and they would not fix anything. Ummmm, yes it did fail and there is paperwork filed officially with the town that says so. Cait's lawyer advised that it was time to get out, there isn't any way to negotiate with someone who can't agree on something as basic as a report. Caitlyn asked me how I felt and I told her I was mostly disappointed for her. Slightly relieved that she wouldn't be leaving just yet, very relieved that she wasn't buying something that was going to end up as a money pit. But mostly bummed.

I am visiting my cousin today and want to bring some of the old pictures I have of us. Maybe she'll be able to help me figure out the who's and when's that I am stuck on.

Today I am grateful for my kids. I know I did a good job with them and they did a good job with me.

Hey there Ms. Ketchup! Oh. It's just you, @tanteva What a view! It's so picturesque.♥ Is Urban getting a lot of research done? I hope that the weather is ok, I saw Norway was flooding last week, I guess it is moving on to Sweden now. Be safe on the roads.
You should know by now not to put any restrictions on things to buy, Tea, yarn, you always find a loophole

@vickyday Thank you for the support. It makes it easier to think that Scott is moving out with Sam. She is a good influence on him. Usually, when he packs for festivals or camping vacations, he gets stressed. I didn't hear him complain once yesterday. And she makes him eat more vegetables! They are a good team.
Glad that Mark is still feeling ok! Are you all better now too?

@BrightEyes I am glad that your weather hasn't been too hot the last few days. It's nice to have the windows open. We have been lucky to only have to turn the AC on downstairs at the end of the day and that is more for humidity than anything. Upstairs gets hooter so the kids put their AC on in their rooms earlier.

My spider plant hasn't had babies in years. It's actually from a baby of a plant that my friend across the street gave me when our girls were still in elementary school. I haven't seen your LO of the yard (or if I have, not recalling it ATM) but I'm going to look for it.

Really quick in and out. I woke up early, already showered and dressed and ready to leave for neurologist doctor's appointment soon. Will be talking to her about the problem with my hands. Have to get gas for the car... WOW... the price has really jumped!

@faerywings The kids made the right choice to pull out of the house sale. Congrats to Scott and Sam on the apartment rental. So glad he has Sam and she helps him stay calmer. Sorry your pool time got rained out.

@tanteva WOW... wonderful photo of where you are vacationing. Hope your drive home is okay and no flooding on the roads. Glad to see you back in here again.

I'm glad, for C & T's sakes (and that you get more time with her) that they canceled the contract! If they were denying the failed report, there is no telling what other "hidden" items they are hiding!

Mark seems to be staying in the clear for now and hopefully completely! I am still waking up with a sore throat, but once I take some Tylenol and drink something it seems to go away. I think it must be from open-mouth breathing at night! I did take another home test this morning and I am no longer positive for COVID, so that's a good thing! This, too, shall pass!

Our realtor is young and trendy and they do a lot of social media advertising. They made an awesome 2 min video, walking the viewer thru the house. I'll have to find out where it'll be shown. I have a private link to it but can't share that one. Here is the listing if anyone is curious to see it. We lowballed the pricing in the hopes of a quick sale. Fingers crossed.

I'll be in and out this week, Lots to do. Today I need to call moving companies and getting quotes and an idea of dates. I still haven't booked any excursions for our trip, need to do that. Plus, want to start going thru everything and purging anything that doesn't need to come with us on the move. We shoved lots in the closets/storage when they did the photos and video but now need to pull all that out and sort thru it.

I might get the odd page scrapped here and there but if we get a sale soon we'll be hopping on a plane and heading to Calgary for 1-2 weeks.

Good Morning!
I woke up with another sore throat today. I must be sleeping with my mouth open because once I take some Tylenol and drink something it goes away! Just to be safe, I took another home test and it shows that I am NOT positive for COVID, thank the Lord! This, too, shall pass! And Mark still has not taken a bullet yet, so hopefully he will not.
I still have 5 days of meds to take. I thought I would show you what I've been taking twice daily.....plus the PredniSONE (which is beginning to decrease amounts taken) and 80mg Famotidine (or Pepcid) and Promethazine for nausea:

1 aspirin (325mg) a day (morning)
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
Cucumin (or turmeric)
Quercetin (immunity booster)
Zinc
Hydroxychloroquine (prescribed)
Doxycycline Hyclate (prescribed)

I still have not started the baby blanket yet. I can't make my mind up on the pattern I want to use. While searching for a pattern for that, I did find a cute tank top to knit. I might start that today.....or not. I may just do some more scrapping. I got my July monthly review done yesterday that I will be posting after I finish writing this post. I will probably do the first half of August next.

Good afternoon all,

It's gorgeous here and 81 right now and going up to 85. Yesterday was in the high 70's and so beautiful. I hope this hot weather is on it's way down. We haven't had it as bad as some areas though.

Chris @faerywings that's sad about Cait and Tom's offer, but it sounds like a money pit to me, too. There's no house worth that! They'll find another, better one - I just know they will. There are red flags going up all over that deal. I went out and took pictures of my zebra grass yesterday and a couple of close-ups so you can see the stripes. It's as tall as the front window now and the tree behind it was literally a tiny thing and I think it's a Japanese Maple. It's really getting big, too. My vines on the trellis are nearly touching on the top and if I wasn't such a midget, I could probably weave them together. Every time a tall person comes down, I forget to ask them. I keep forgetting to ask Chuck to do it, too although, I'm not sure he would do it like Adrienne would. I must remember to get her to work on it.

Kay @BrightEyes I hope things go well at the neuro today. I think I said ortho. Anyway, hope your appt goes well.

Vicky @vickyday sorry your throat is sore again but at least it gets relief when you drink something and take your Tylenol.

Rae @bcgal00 just took "the tour" and wow is your home gorgeous and so big! It looks like it's perfectly staged and ready for a quick sale. Sending good vibes to you.

I'm going to go now and get ready for my day. Adrienne wants me to come up later this afternoon and sit out on the porch with her. They got some new big windchimes the kind that sound like Tibetan bowls (kind of) and I can hear them from my house when it gets real windy. They just got them and she wants me to come up and meditate with her. They have a beautiful wrap around porch and those hanging anti-gravity chairs. OMMMMMMMM
