Sun! I am finally seeing some sun! "bout time.
It was gloomy all day here, even when we had some blue sky, it was quickly covered by rain clouds. Cait and I took W for her walk and made it home just before it started to downpour.

Gary is herxing and wasn't up to coming with me to food shop. I hate seeing him suffer through this again and again. He looks and feels miserable and there is nothing anyone can do to help.

Even though it was cool outside, it was still really hot in the attic. I spent about an hour or so up there trying to find things to sell at the garage sale next week. I have so much junk, but it is either worthless junk or things I need to keep for sentimental reasons. I did get a bag of garbage together and a bag of things for recycling. It is a process...

BFFATS invited me to the lake today so I am going to head there for some sun and "water." It is going to have to do since I still haven't made it down the shore at all. Next month. Counting down the days until the getaway. (Please let the weather be good!!!)

Jean- That is how I feel when we have the Air Show and Boat Races in my town. It is necessary for tourism (haha! Never do I think of my little town as having any sort of tourist appeal ound: ) but the noise makes me crazy. Were you able to get the glasses ordered? I still need to order contacts and glasses but have been trying to hold off since money is so tight. Not that it is going to be any less tight next month...

I am procrastinating about W's teeth. I just don't know how to do it -- we tried to brush Ray's teeth after she had to have several of them surgically removed for to gum disease. She is the mellowest dog we ever had and that was hard enough.

Rae, Felis-- any tips on that??
My dad had a hip replacement about 10 years ago and that is what he said-- worth it for not having to be in such horrible pain. I hear knees are much harder to recover from than hips. I wish I could help her.
I am starting to get used to the layout of the store. I don't agree with it, but I am getting used to it.

TRUDY!!! Hey!!! So good to see you! I am counting down the days when you get back and tell us all about your time with the boys!

Rae- Good shopping karma still in full force at VV, I see. Good for you! We have had almost nothing on the DVR all summer, and we will get overloaded in Sept/Oct too.
So-- no advice on how to brush W's teeth LOL

Felis- happy name day to your mom!
No teeth brushing advice from you either... The toothbrush that the vet gave me is like a human one but much longer. She said to really focus on the back molars. Huh??? I should have Gary videotape me doing this.

Good morning, ladies. Watched a really funny movie with B last night, "Central Intelligence". B loved it and was screeching so loud LOL. Got home for a late dinner at 9 and by the time I finished up dishes and cleanup it was 10. I was exhausted and went to bed. Slept pretty well for most of the night except for the bear waking me up as he batted around garbage cans outside, around 4:00.

Today Taz went to daycare, went grocery shopping after dropping him off, have laundry in and now will start work for the day. I need to edit some pics too from a friend's b-day last month so I can give them their pics on a USB this wkend when I shoot their engagement session. So I won't be on the computer much until tonight.

Chris - enjoy the day with your BFF. No advice about the brushing b/c I can't figure out how to do Taz's. I'm going to ask my vet about it when I go in for his cleaning soon.

Hope everyone else is having a good day. I'm getting another coffee and getting to work now.

Kind of a murky day not helped by doing laundry, but that's life. Ordered the glasses with frames I think will be good and was sure glad they had 40% off the lens price. Yard behind us looks so barren and has no shade. Glad we have some trees. They are going to "landscape" and add a patio though like all the yards here it's small. I'll stop grumbling now.

Chris, nice to have the sun back. Hope you enjoy a little time off today.

Rae, glad B enjoyed the movie so much. You do such good for her. Hope your day is going well.
