The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Well... yesterday's warning seems to be applicable for today too. :(
My day did not go as planned, not even a bit, and I am not feeling much better today.

I had an utter meltdown yesterday morning. I hate when that happens, there is just so darn much crud inside me that I stuff down and ignore. It is not pretty when it bubbles up out of control. Gary tried to tell to not stress, it is not good for my health either. He suggested seeing a therapist again, so when I felt calmer I popped online for my health insurance co, and the search was giving me therapists a half hour away, I know there have to be some closer to me than that. Then thinking about insurance got me off on a freak-out tangent of how when we lose Caitlyn's Social Security Dependent Income in Sept, not only will we lost that income, but that will drop our household income levels to qualify for Medicaid, I don't want to be on Medicaid. Those plans stink! I tried to add Caitlyn to my policy but if you are eligible for state funded, you aren't eligible for the ACA policy. That set me off again.

I get myself together, and head off to my client's house. I wander around her kitchen, there is no list of what projects she had for me, no money left out where she puts it. I leave her a note that I was there, and to call me to reschedule. Went home and tried to not flip out over losing the day's pay.

Pulled myself together yet again (are you getting images of those dolls on strings that they are limp, then you pull the sting and they straighten up? That is how I felt! LOL), got some stuff done in the house, then spent the afternoon digging in the dirt. It was so windy and the leaves were blowing everywhere, so anything I did will most likely need to get re-done. But I put on an audio-book and just ignored life. That helped a bit, and I was able to cook dinner and veg on the sofa after dinner.

Caitlyn, Gary and I decided it was better for her to stay home today too, so she will hopefully get the absences excused more quickly. How f-ing insane is that? She has to lose a second day of school, so she doesn't lose credit in classes that she getting all A's in??????? The nurse at the LLMD's office is just fab and sent me notes for yesterday and today to give us the option of what she decided to do.

Today I get to go food shopping, yippee.
Then my parents are coming up at lunchtime. My mom called to ask if we would be around, that she and my dad wanted to visit Something is up, my dad never just pops in for lunch.

Last does of Tindamax for the week was yesterday morning, which means it will be safe for me to have a gi-normous glass of wine after dinner tonight.

Trudy- the last audio-book that I was listening to (Elizabeth is Missing- very good!) was read by Davina Porter. She is such an amazing narrator. The main character has dementia and her voice gets more "crazy" and panicked as the dementia progresses.
But wow, it made me miss Claire and Jamie!!!!

Have a wonderful day my O-Fam!!!!!

This is too funny--
Today is Lima Bean Respect Day! Did you know that lima beans are incredibly good for you? They are filled with nutritious fiber, potassium, iron, copper, and manganese. Lima beans are also low in fat and contain protease inhibitors that stall the development of cancerous cells. Lima beans may not be your favorite healthy vegetable, but today is the day to show them some respect!
Humans have been cultivating lima beans since 6000 BC. Today, people use them in recipes for soups, spreads, casseroles, and salads. In Japan, green baby lima beans are an important ingredient in bean paste, which is a popular dessert. Succotash, a dish usually found in the southern region of the United States, combines lima beans, corn, and chili peppers.
To celebrate Lima Bean Respect Day, enjoy some tasty lima beans cooked your favorite way!

Nancy- hope that you had a great lunch with your friend. The dogs were so happy to be outside with me most of the afternoon, just sniffing the air and laying in the sun. I would love to be a dog. :)
Thankfully, I have enough DYI projects to last me quite a while and to keep my brain otherwise engaged. The chairs came out really nioce too, I am so pleased with it all.
Thank you again Trudy for giving me the idea and for not minding that I copied you.

Trudy- what a nice time you and your Gary must have had, enjoying the deck and solving the world's problems. I have officially decided that the world is going to hell in a hand basket, so if you want to get going on those solutions, make it quick :pound:
How was your swim? I bet it went much easier than you expected.

Rae- ugh about the router issues! Hope that being offline didn't make too much of a mess of your day.

Hugs to everyone!!!!

Good morning! Yesterday was nice having lunch with my girlfriend. We got caught up on family. She is enjoying retirement and she says she and her DH are not fighting LOL. Came home and had a fun walk with Luther. The weather was just perfect 70s and slight breeze. Watched hockey and the games were good. High intensity! Got more scrapping done. Today is grocery shopping and that sucks. Also need to get going on what I am taking on my trip.

Chris I am so sorry life is so frustrating. I am totally impressed by the way you are able to cope with it all. Hang in there. And nothing annoys me more than when someone else tells me not to stress. My son and DH are always laughing at me when I begin to stress about going through the security lines at the airports. So annoying. Hope today goes better and enjoy the sun and an audio book! And really enjoy your glass of wine with your parents!

Trudy your brothers deck overlooking the river sounds so lovely. I always loved inner tubing. Just too bad a few are spoiling it. How are you feeling after your swim?

Rae what a bummer about your internet problems. Hopefully they were fast and you are up to speed!

Kay waving hi!

Chris and Trudy have you all noticed that email comments on pages are not happening. Yesterday all of a sudden I got like 63 messages. Very strange. They seem back to normal today. Just wondering?

Have a great day all!

Good morning ladies... just a quick fly by for me today as I must get my backpack all ready to go on my hike this morning. Lots of sunscreen and cool clothes today as it is supposed to be the hottest day of the week today. We could hit 80 degrees F. Yikes!! Isn't it April??

Chris I saw this layout today and thought of you, so many that are affected by this dam lyme disease !!
the link will take you to the GSO's but its in the finger pointing for April 17th if you want a closer look at it. I hope that today is a bit easier for you and like Nancy I am amazed at how well you handle it all!! Gentle hugs for you my friend! May you find some peace and quiet today!!

Nancy - You are headed on another trip? Where to this time? Lucky you always out on an adventure, you go girl!! Hope you and Luther have another wonderful walk today! Oh and not sure what you mean about the comments? I haven't really noticed anything different, but then I haven't made too many pages lately for anyone to comment on LOL. Have a wonderful day!

 to Rae and Kat, hope you both get to enjoy this lovely weather! I gotta get a move on :bolt:

Good morning, ladies. Busy morning, catching up on work, and sorting out a few issues with my email after the Shaw guy came yesterday afternoon and installed all the new equipment. Now that its done, I'm so glad for the upgrade. We have faster internet now and the new pvr's are great (especially since they all link up so we can watch pvr shows on any of the tv's). So last night I laid in bed, thinking I should watch something to fall asleep to and then realized that the bedroom pvr was linked to the LR pvr so I could finish watching a show I turned off earlier in the LR. That was awesome. The best part was that all these upgrades didn't cost us anything. It took the guy about 3 hrs to hook it all up and then it took us awhile to figure out how to use the pvr and set up daily taping schedules for it. So back to work today and just about caught up again. Whew. Busy few days so far this week.

Our weather is remaining hot and sunny. It's so nice to take the dogs to the river when it's like this. Our air conditioner has kicked in so the house remains nice and cool but outside it's been hot this week, 80+.

Chris - enjoy that big glass of wine. Sounds like you need it. What a crappy week you've had so far. Hope it gets better. Hugs.

Trudy - I saw that page too and thought of Chris.

Hope you all have a great day. I'm getting back to work so I can finish up at a reasonable time today. Last night was exhausting, trying to get some work done and the cable guy here all afternoon.

Good afternoon!

I assume this thread is where we post our day? I hope I'm not intruding.

I spent the morning scrapping for my Cts and then I took a walk since it's finally getting warmer here. Although next week, they are calling for SNOW on Mon!! YIKES!!

Hubby came home early and we went out to do some shopping. I need a new dress because we have a black tie event next weekend. My husband is a Mason and we go to these things at least 6 times a year. It's all the same people usually so I can NOT be seen in the same dress each time LOL. No luck today though, will try again on Friday.

Other than that, my almost 15 year old son is going on his first ever overnight trip with the high school band. He is only in 9th grade but was invited to play in the SR. Band. He's the first ninth grader to be asked in over 15 years! He plays trombone and he is just so naturally talented. He is self taught and I just love that he picked a unique instrument to study. They are going to Toronto for 2 nights and then to Stratford for a night/day. He is SO excited!!! He has Asperger's but high functioning and he never had the confidence to go on any trips in elementary school because he was bullied so much. I am SO pleased and thankful that the band has taken him under their wing and he's made so many good friends and they are all 11th graders and up. The confidence just oozes out of him now and it makes my heart smile.

So with this trip, he needs dress clothes as they are going to the Toronto Symphony one night and then to see Kinky Boots one night plus out for dinner. He had fun choosing things to wear. It's so great to see him so happy!

So that's my day!!
