happy Wednesday. Hey- I just realized, I haven't screwed up any dates in a while. On a roll!

I am not sure how long I am going to be online today- my hip is killing me something awful. Sitting and bending bring tears to my eyes if I move to quickly. Ii have to go food shopping and then when I am done, i think I am going to have to put my feet up. I am cleaning tomorrow and I have to be better by then.

I wish that this Earth Day people (corporations) would realize how precious our earth is and stop polluting, wasting resources and try to make the world a better place.
I want no more pain!
I want the people who are experiencing tornadoes, floods, wild fires, earthquakes to be safe.

I started getting migraines when I was 10, IIRC. I took Ascription, it was some buffered aspirin stuff. Oh- but now you can't give kids aspirin... Did he get any of the , whats the word..... auras? I usuallu see silver dots flying around before I get one.
Hope he is ok and i would say get checked by a dr, just b/c that's me....

Trudy-- you have got a deal!! I am packing some clothes and some rain gear and my gardening tools!! LOL
I hear you on the worry. I am the same way when people tell
me about what sounds like possible Lyme symptoms. Its hard to separate it all.

Laurie i hope the best for that beautiful girl! Scott is a hexagon in a round hole.... and it has been a rough time. How old is this girl? Scott is doing a lot better in HS then he was in any other grade. i think the little extra bit of acceptance? respect for individuality? .... not sure of what the right words would be- but his HS teachers respect his IEP and seem to be much more willing to work with his quirks more so than any other teacher. I hope the same for this girl too.

Meg- welcome back home! Hope that you are rejuvenated! You needed that.

morning- slept off and on as storms rolled through- I am hearing that the storms were much worse an hour from me. so thankful for that. I have to be into work early today and lead a meeting- wish I felt awake- good news is- theoretically I get to leave work early as a result of the early meeting, probably won't but won't be working with a patient, just paperwork.
 
Jeff's been up all night sick :( I'm now on the sofa trying to get back to sleep... our room does not smell very welcoming right now. I've probably gotten only 45 minutes of sleep... and I get to go to the DMV in four hours. Yay.

So, I've been on krazy coupon lady planning some shopping if I had time tomorrow.

I think it's time for me to try sleeping again... my sympathy tummy has calmed down!
 
Morning O family ... Off to work again today, my poor feet are getting sore and my legs are very tired. (Quit whinning :ohwell:) :sorry:. I will be glad to have this week over and done with, then I am refusing to work long hours like this again!! Wish I could stay and do personals, but sadly I am running late and better get a move on. Hopefully I can stop in here again after work and catch up! I wish everyone a great Wednesday :wave:
 
Hey girlies!! Trying to keep the ole head above water...doing pretty good, i think. Except we keep burning the midnight oil and then we get up early (I know!! shocker for me!!) and I get really really tired in the middle of the day then take a nap then i'm up until midnight again!!! so today i'm going to try not to nap so I can sleep all night from 10 on!!

sleep is overrated anyway, huh? nope!! we all need LOTS of it!!!

Anyway, in my neck of the woods, things are good. We had a really great band rehearsal last night with a new bass player, because our regular bass player is taking his whole fam to Scotland for three years, and these guys are some of our very best friends!! My kids are best friends with their kids, so this whole thing is gut wrenching!! We aren't even talking about what a hole there will be in our church, because they do soooo much!! yike...okay...already teary...gotta change the subject!! LOL!! So yeah, the band rehearsal was really good!! Our reg bass player was there to hear the new guy, who is a guy we knew from college and has recently been in a big named "new grass" band called Cadillac Sky. When I heard C-Sky was shutting it's doors and I knew that Juan was leaving, I immediately FBed this bass player and said, let's have coffee! He's a real neat guy so it adds to the band dynamic.

Change is hard, huh, guys?

So, today's list? Finish my mom's quilt top...shouldn't take but a half an hour. Then I'm going to do a new quilt design and take pics so I can submit it to some blogs!! HOpefully they will publish the tutorial!! After that, just cleaning up the house!!! I gotta get started on that, because our dear friend and fellow CheeryO, Kaylea (kateybug) is coming to stay in a week and a half!! isn't that so fun???? Yeah!!! She probably doesn't want to see my dirty laundry and piles and piles of junk that I haven't organized yet!! :)

Enough about me...how about you? How do you feel about me???? LOL!! jk!!!

Trudy, you enjoy that work, hun!!! (at least the paycheck!!!) and put your feet up with some Merlot and your laptop and hang here tonight!!! hugs!

yes im feeling MUCH better today....on a side note earth day is the 22nd not today :) i've seen a lot of stuff going around facebook (surprise surprise) about everyone thinking today is earth day LOL why...i dunno.....and lots of people all mad that people want to celebrate earth day today...i guess cause of the oil spills and columbine....whatever....thats my 2 cents...just that its NOT earth day today LOL
 
hehe, yeah i know it0 its the 22nd. I am odd that way. Today is the big 4-20 day.

12 years for Columbine, how crazy is that? So sad. One year for BP.

But I will be celebrating on Friday yay! (if It is ever nice enough to be outside!!!)

okay, so I THOUGHT the quilt top would only take me 30 minutes. What I totally forgot to factor in was that when you sew the rows together, you have to pin it first to match the star points and stuff!! So it took me around 4 hours to finish it!!! but the top is finished!! and I can quilt it next week and have it ready for my mom's bday which is the day before mom's day!! *whew*

evening- work done till friday, storms have passed, no flooding in the house, no storm damage near me- hope it warms up- I want to mow the lawn tomorrow.
 
Hi again everyone, I am sitting at my computer with a glass of Chardonay!! Horray for Chardonay!! my legs ache and my feet hurt, but oh my the wine does taste good!

Sally I love your quilt and so will your mom!!
I really have to try to find the pic of the quilt my sister made for my 50th birthday for you , you would love it!!

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful day and I will try to do better with personals tomorrow!!
 
I'm hanging in there -- no rest yet, my stomach is in an upheaval (not a bug, just the disruption of vacation.) Jeff's doing better, he's been reformatting his computer because he got a super nasty virus. We've been scrambling to save our backups, because we don't know how long the virus went undetected, it could of gotten onto one of our two backup drives & NAS. Got home from vacation and his computer wouldn't work at all - it somehow got into internet explorer, which you need to do pretty much anything on pre-vista bc XP runs using explorer, so he could only turn on his computer & turn it off.

Today - DMV accomplished, along with the bank to make sure my married name was on my checking account. Even managed to spend time with my grandparents. They gave me birthday money to buy a new printer - my grandma just wants me to get it to help teach her how I do couponing with internet coupons!

I'm sorry I've been such a downer today - super exhausted. But we did really have the most amazing two days off ever!!! I think most of you are on my FB and saw some of my iphone photos. There will be more later - including a group of nine sea otters swimming in the kelp forest together!!!!!

Ok... Jeff's taking a break from installing stuff on his computer to watch NCIS with me. Personals in the morning!
