GooooOd Tuesday morning, my lOvelies!
We are having an Indian Summer here. It was hot and humid yesterday. It should be cooler today but still in the 80s. And I do not mind a bit.

I am *somewhat* less stressed today than yesterday. Not by much but somewhat... which is ok by me! Gary took the dishwasher apart again after watching some videos on YouTube. The drain pump is working sporadically and he thinks that if we mess around with the wash cycle itself, it may work on occasion. I will take what I can get.

I was able to get some more housework done and then I went outside to take down the brown morning glory vines on the front porch. I finished up the one LO for October and now am working on another. Maybe I will get them all done by Oct 1.

I think I am somewhat bonkers because I am going to a different grocery store today. We got a $10 off $75 coupon in the mail for a store that is about 20 minutes away. My supermarket stinks as it is, but is also going through a year-long renovation which makes it even harder to deal with. Good marketing choice on the other store since we only have one supermarket in our town. I wouldn't drive that far if not for the coupon. It is going to take me forever since I won't have my routine in place like I do at Shop Rite.

So that is the excitement of my day.

Hope that all of you have a great one too!

felis- so happy to hear that you are feeling better. We all can't wait for Whisky to be able to play so we can take her and J to the dog park to run. Bet that was a fun afternoon to be out with your dogs.
Yes, I agree-- it's important to Leah's grandma to continue her religion but hopefully, she will continue to see how happy Leah is with Scott and our family.

Nancy- Caitlyn said that it was 90* here according to her car. How sweet to see that baby. I agree, there is no such thing as too many books. Or baby snuggles. :)
How were the two hockey games?
Man, you are all killing me with Outlander TV. It is on my Twitter feed non-stop. I love seeing the photos of it so I can compare to what I see when I read.
It *has* to come to Netflix/Amazon soon, right???

Trudy- I can't wait to see that pics of your door! A little bit of new color can make such a difference. I did take a pic of the centerpiece that I made for my ILs, they both said that it was pretty. Good thing I didn't toss it out when I wanted too.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy that the kids will be with your for Christmas!!!! Nope. I am beginning to think that we never, ever stop worrying LOL

Rae- I can't imagine how bad your cold would have been if you hadn't been using the EOs. How fun for Taz to go out with your and Bailey. You are a scarf addict hehe!!!
Enjoy the new TV shows.

good morning - yesterday was warm and sunny and I loved it. But I wonder at my boys. My son had on the AC and my DH opened the windows. My DH claims my son mumbled it was just the fan and my son does not even remember saying anything. So last night was two Devils hockey games. We wanted to see the game played in PEI but the NHL blacked it out because MSG was broadcasting the Devils Islanders game. But I was on twitter and saw that the Devils in PEI was slaughtering the Senators 5-0 at the end of the first. I was so mad as the Devils in Brooklyn were losing 2-0. But as technology would have it I looked at the NHL app to find the box score and it said watch so I tried it and sure enough the game had been saved and we watched. It was awesome. The final score was 8-1. Everything was working for the Devils. I do love it when technology works. Made ancho tacos and a red cabbage salad. It was so good. The boys were happy. Today is grocery shopping and I get my hair cut and colored. Yea! It needs it. So at least I will look good while shopping. I may get that frappechino again. LOL

Chris glad that you are less stressed today. For Outlander Starz I think is having a special where you can get the app and watch for free for one month. You can watch season one and two and then some of season 3 until one month is over. I hope their special is still going. It was be great for J and W to have time and place to just run. And yes I too am enjoying this warm weather.

Trudy looking forward to seeing the photos of the door. Wow your are going to be busy making food and that is so cool to be that prepared. Who wants to be in the kitchen.

Rae so glad you are feeling better. Scarfs drive me crazy as I can never get them to tie correctly and they make me feel a tad claustrophobic. I am always impressed by those that can where them so stylishly!

felis hope you are really feeling good today!

Have a great day all!

It is raining and cooler today, actually sort of nice. Yesterday we were gone all day out birding in Osage County. Not a lot of birds, but a place we love to be. Amazed it hit 94 at home yesterday! Glad I wasn't there. We should be home on Friday when it will be much cooler.

Chris, I know just what you mean about not being organized in a different store. Hope it went well. Aargh, hope the dishwasher is OK. I don't know how any of us can not be bonkers these days.

Nancy, great trip for that Alaska cruise. We've only done one birding trip to Alaska, but it was fantastic. It was in late June. Your DS cracks me up about August.

Felis, hope you're continuing to feel better. Here, the cat is still hiding under the covers, but some days that was also from noise at neighbors where work was going on.

Trudy, Rae, hope we aren't cross posting and you have a great day.

Morning ladies... Happy Tuesday, which feels like Monday to me because DH was home and underfoot all day yesterday!! We managed to get the second door finished though and they look great! I need to hang the Fall Wreath back up on the one door, but we thought we should wait a day or two and make sure the paint is good and set before doing that. Today I think I will get to the pool and do some lap swimming and other than that not much on the go today. I just finished face timing with DD and Hunter was sleeping so she is having a nice quiet break for a bit and will be able to have her lunch and perhaps watch Big Bang without any interruptions. I will keep my fingers crossed for her LOL.

Chris - So glad that you are enjoying the warm temps and sunshine, summer took its time coming to you!! Hopefully the shopping at the new store goes smoothly and you get to find some great deals! Nice that you have a coupon at least, it might be worth the longer commute!!

Nancy - Men!! What more can I say :becky: Have fun getting your hair done, it will soon be time for me to do the same, I think maybe I have two weeks left until then though. I always enjoy getting my cut and colour!! DH was saying to me last night that you would be very happy with your Devils!! Wow they gave the other team a real spanking didn't they!! Enjoy your frappechino today !

Jean - Wow what hot temps for your neck of the woods!! I bet you are very happy that you are not experiencing those temps while birding!! Nice that you are still enjoying your birding trip! Hopefully the good temps continue for the rest of your stay!

Ok ladies here is a pic of our doors, the darker colour is the new one, we are very pleased with the results!!

Good morning, ladies. Had a nice long hot shower this morning so the steam could help clear my head. Each day I feel a bit better but this sinus infection is a bad one and is taking awhile, even with all the remedies I am using. At night it is knocking my energy down and I'm ready for bed around 9:30-10 so at least I'm getting some good sleep. This morning I watched a bit of the first episode of Star Trek Discovery (new TV show) and like it, as I redid my avatar in fall colors. Also did a few urgent files for work and now can take a break for a minute before getting back to it and putting in at least 2-3 hours before my next break. I'm doing much better with my schedule now that I don't go back and forth on the computer so much and have been able to keep up with my desk job which is great b/c now I can relax in the evening after dinner with hubs and Taz. Later this afternoon Taz will go to the vet for his monthly bum flush which he hates but always makes him feel better afterwards. Dinner is one of my fave things today, baked chicken with creole spices and artichoke/asiago dip spread overtop, served with cauliflower and broccoli. Yum. I always have a bit of rice for Darrell to add to his.

Chris - glad you are feeling a bit better about things. Hope the dishwasher hangs in there.

Trudy - love the darker color of the door. Have a good swim today.

Nancy - we love tacos too (pretty much any mexican kind of food). Enjoy getting your hair done today.

Jean - sounds like you're having fun and good that you missed that heat, I like the warmth but thats too hot for me too.

I'm getting back to work now. Hope you all have a great day.

It's raining whole day :rain:, so I thought that will be good to do some inside work, and I started my morning with scrap, but then spent almost 2 hours in searching for one of the photos I wanted to scrap and even don't found it. In the end I was so tired so I choose just one that to match the idea even it's away from perfection. Then I upload the page and see it looks some kind unfinished, after that I updated it 3 more times. Is this happened to you?! Some times when I see my LO in the photo editing program it's look fine, but then on the site I realize I'm missed something.
At the work they give us free week, because into the headquarters makes some changes. It is little bit worried, because I got free days till I was ill and now this, will come very stressful for my budget. But for now will try to stay positive and do some preparation for the Autumn cleaning. It's not exact cleaning but I'm not sure for the word ... stowage?! ... when we change blankets, trails, clothes, everything with their thicker winter equivalent. And of course everything has to be washed and packed! This is a long-term project and it's a little bit early for it, but I have to use this free time completely.

Chris, hope shopping on the new place wasn't too confusing and you found good deals! Yes, dogs playing in leafs is one of my favorite things, I'm excited that it's coming! I can bet that Whisky will be fascinated too! By the way today I was doing one of my other favorite things reading with cats till rain dancing on the roof :) .

Nancy, sounds like you have really fun day yesterday! Hope todays shopping is been good too!

Jean, so good that you have a good weather! Here also most of the birds are flew to the south, we had one yellow friend which definitely miss us when we hiking around it's bush home. But the colors of autumn are my favorite, and I'm so curious to see your photos.

Trudy, the door looks excellent, this darker color will make your decoration to pop up even more! Hope that you could get your funny and quiet day!

Rae, how bad that this sinus infection is so persistently! Hope, get well soon! Yes, I just wait weather to become cold enough to try your idea about my new jacket and scarf, I have one snood with cats with glasses wich I love and will fit well. hmm maybe I have to scrap that.

Ok, now I have a few little things before to go to the bed. Goodnight, ladies! Sweet dreams!
