hellO O-Fam!
How are y'all doing? I am hanging in. By a thread but a thread is better than nothing, right?

I wish I knew what to do about Life. Seriously. I am halfway through and still can't seem to get a grip on it. I told Cait this morning that my ability to bounce back is gone. I am more like a leftover, cold pancake that going *plunk.* She looked at me like is was a bit crazy and rambling, which I suppose it the truth LOL

i plugged along all day yesterday, in spite of more car chaos. I *love* being told all sorts of different things trying to get my car towed to the shop. /s But it all worked out, car is there, the kids are carpooling today and Gary and I have Cait's car to take to the LLMD. Reason we are taking Cait's car: To listen for some weird noises before we get hers into the shop.
why oh why don't mechanics have Frequent Flyer/Driver Miles :pound:

Nothing else of excitement/import/worth talking about, which is all very good new for you *winks*

Have a fantabulous day!

Morning Chris. Flat, cold pancake, huh? I'm at about the wet noodle phase right now. Gees, we make a fine pair, don't we?! LOL I just posted this over on Facebook:

I do not have ducks.
Or a row.
I have squirrels.
And they're at a rave.

All the best intentions in the world of doing X or Y keep getting sidetracked by ... *** squirrel!!! *** It was simply par for the course yesterday and I tried leaving at 5 pm so I could get home for a 7 pm appointment with our tax advisor ... 1 hr 55 min later, I told Bill to go by himself when I finally got home. Nearly 2 hours to go about 30 miles!! No accidents, no police pulling people over, just volume on the roads.

Oh well, in the office early today so I can [hopefully] catch up on a few things .. yeah, like payroll. Payroll's important, right? ;)

Nancy- it rained almost all day here too, which is much needed. But I didn't get J our for a walk Sun or Mon. It should be a nicer day today so I am will try to get her to walk a bit more.
They found the bomber quickly, didn't they? Although, he doesn't seem very bright in a criminally minded sense. Caught on camera, then passed out in front of a bar? Thankfully, there were no deaths and only one seriously injured. It could have been way worse.
:high5: on getting your albums done! One of these days I will do an album for myself.

I ended up not calling my mom. I talked to Caitlyn and she said that it would be best to let it go. My mom knew that things got messed up, no need to rehash. I would only say more that I would regret. Aside from all of you here, I am not in much of a mood to talk to anyone ATM, so :tape: is a good thing. :)

Trudy- I love/hate when the cleaning bug hits. While I was waiting (again) for the tow truck to get to the house, I was on a cleaning rampage in the kitchen. Stove and floors. Let's see how long that lasts. I bet that as of right now- 7.30 am, there are already coffee spots on the floor. ;)
Hope you got lots of good computer and scrap time in. I never got to do that myself. happy to hear that Heather is feeling better too!

Rae- oh no! So sorry that the time with Beckham is so stressful. I guess watching him on shorter times is better for you all. Poor Taz too.
You are doing a great job on goign through clothes, doesn't it make you feel "lighter?"
Great tips for dog training. i have to work more with J again too. After her surgery, she was so contained and drugged that we let so much slide. Now that she has more freedom, she is showing us that she is a spoiled pup. Add one more thing to the To-Do list. But the good thing is that she was mostly well trained before so it shouldn't be too hard to get back on track.

Looks like everyone was getting rain yesterday. Hope that it helps ground water levels too.

Time to get in the shower before Scott needs it. TTYS!

good morning - well the alleged bomber was captured in the town close to me - maybe 15 min away. There are still so many questions as to why and if he worked alone. It was raining and unlike Rae I did not walk Luther but as I was vacuuming Luther kept trying to get at it and bark a lot at it so it wore him out. Poor guy - I keep thinking he will get used to it but so far not so much. Had fun watching more hockey. Had a fun dinner out with my girlfriend and her daughter. Her daughter is so fun as this year she is a kindergarten teacher and you forget just how little they know coming to school the first time.

Chris I hope this week is much better for you! It should be beautiful weather wise! Hope you get outside and enjoy your dirt!

Kat hope you are better too! And payroll is important! LOL

Trudy yes I am in hockey heaven! Hope you had a great me time day!

Rae thanks so much for the advice. I am working with him and he is smart so I think he will catch on pretty fast. And we do the palm up for stay so he has that already. And having two dogs is tough!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. The torrential rain has stopped...whew...that was nasty yesterday. Twice I was out with the dogs and was soaked to the skin each time. Luckily our final walk after dinner was the best as it just sprinkled out and I didn't have to come home and change again. Today I need to find a recipe for a rub for a pork loin I'll make for dinner and pop into the store for groceries after walking Ava later. My boss loaded me down with files yesterday but I think today will be a bit better. I'm getting better at time management and getting off the computer for chunks of time each day so I am more focused on work and getting thru it faster. I was amazed that I was able to finish everything up by 7 last night and had a simple dinner and relaxed with Darrell and the dogs for the night, watching tv. We saw the new comedy The Good Place and am not sure if I'll like it. I want to, b/c I love the two main characters (Kristen Bell and Ted Dansen) but it may be too silly for my taste. I'll watch a few more episodes and see how I feel.

Chris - you have so many struggles in your life and manage to get thru them all with humor and love of your family. I'm not surprised you are at a low point right now, you must get exhausted with it all sometimes. Knowing you tho, you are going to find some inner strength and bounce back. I hope today is a good day.

Trudy - did you get some scrapping done?

Nancy - yes, I agree, Luther sounds like a bright boy and should be fairly easy to train.

Kat - sounds like you've been busy and stressed, between work and house woes. Hope things are looking brighter soon.

I'm going to get out soon with Taz & Beckham, get some work done and then head out with Taz & Ava, before coming back to work this afternoon. Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Good morning ladies... OMG nothing ever works out the way it should!! Yesterday was a write off as I had to go and meet up with my Norwex rep who got me started on selling these products. That took away most of my day, so needless to say I got nothing in the way of scrapping accomplished! Today I have been on the computer all morning trying to deal with a few things and getting tickets for the ferry tomorrow as I will be taking my MIL to the Butchart Gardens for a special High Tea that they have on for people who have turned 80 yrs old this year. We are taking the ferry across the strait instead of dealing with the Malaht Drive and all of the traffic that is on the highway. Hoping to have a wonderful time at the Gardens and will take lots of photos as I am sure the fall colours will be amazing! Sorry I have been MIA from here today, but hopefully I can make up for lost time later on today and get some scrapping finally done. Heather sent me some great photos of Mason yesterday so I hope to get a page done with those. Wish me luck as something always seems to get in the way of my creative time!!! Enjoy the day ladies! I will catch up with you all a bit later on if all goes well!!
