Eep! When my alarm went off this morning, I swore that it was still Sunday! what a bummer when I remembered it was Tuesday.:mmph:

Yesterday was pretty good. I cleaned at my client's house, but for some reason I was moving slowly. Her soon-to-be Ex was coming over to get stuff and he is not allowed upstairs, so I kept going to the window to see if his car was there. When I got home, it had actually warmed up a bit so I raked most of my front lawn. I had to find the dog poop! This has to be the worst time of year to scoop. I popped over to my friend's for a quick cup of coffee, then started to scrap a page for a Nov Challenge.

The phone call to the County Agency was... successful?? Maybe?? They needed a No-Income Form for Scott and I since we both lost any SS Benefits as dependants of Gary this past year. I wrote a cover letter, listing all of the heating bills I have, (with documentation) and the Income we have for Gary and Cait's SS Benefits (again with documentation), and then listed that Scott and I do not have income. There was no documentation for that, because how do you document "nothing?"
She is sending me forms to state that we have no income.Whatever. *eye roll*

I am trying three new recipes this week. Tuscan White Bean Soup, Spaghetti with Garlic and White wine bread crumbs, and Spaghetti Squash with Butter and Garlic. *fingers crossed that they are well received*

I did get to see the pics from Sunday and there are a couple of funny ones of Christopher. He was playing his drum set for us and would "hide" behind the drum sticks. He is a goof!

Tip on Tuesday:
Darn it!!! I had one in mind yesterday but I forgot what it was. *stomps foot*
I guess my tip should be to write things down!~

Phyllis- that is awful! Do you have any idea what is causing the rash? Feel better! And thank you for popping in, I was going to email you to check on you!

Nancy- it was 35* here when I went to work, Brrrrrr!!!!!!! It was nice that it warmed up when the sun came out.
How was the puppy sitting??? Is s/he snuggly? Pics????
BTW- how is your DS's new job going? Hop[e it is good!

Trudy- wow, you got a lot done over the weekend, glad that you had really nice weather. Oh yeah, little kids really do seem to go 100 MPH! Bet mason is working his way up to that quickly.
How nice that you got to Facetime with your family. When are you going to be visiting with them? The holidays?

Ok my lOvley O-Fam, I am off and running myself. Not 100 MPH, closer to .01 MPH hahahaha!!!
Have a wOnderful day!!!!!!!!!!!

good morning - well I did my puppy sitting yesterday and he is one cute dog. He is full of energy and the time went really fast. Came home and got in a good walk Chris it was amazing how much it did warm up. Tonight I have hockey. It is Devils vs Rangers. It is always fun but agonizing as I want them to beat this team. The Rangers are on a winning streak so it will be tough game. One of my players Martin Havlat on Sat was rammed into the glass and dasher boards and his visor caused horrible cuts and the poor man ended up with 55 stitches. He wants to play and has been practicing in a full face shield but gosh it must hurt! I bought the next book in the Outlander series and spent most of the day reading. It is good but must not spend the whole day reading LOL!

Chris glad the County call did go well! Cant wait to hear how the new recipes go!

Phylis sure hope the rash goes away soon.

Trudy all I can say about shingles is that I had it on my face and it was horrible. I was in bed for a week. The rash lingered and it was not so bad only because now they have anti virals so I can't imagine how bad it could have been. My Aunt had it and she ended up with nerve damage. I had the vaccine I just could not go through that again. In the US the vaccine is covered once you are 60.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... Another lovely fall day here, the :rain: seems to come in the evening and then the skies open up and it pours all night long!! That's ok because the sun is shining now and I am hoping to get in a great walk and take in the splendour of the the Fall Colours!

Chris - Glad that your call to the County was successful -ish seems like there is always something else that needs to be filled out! All of your new recipes sound wonderful!! I tried making Italian Wedding Soup for the first time yesterday, it turned out great and so yummy!! I think that getting all these comfort foods back into our diet is so good for the soul!

Nancy - Glad that the puppy sitting went well yesterday and hope that there were no little piddle accidents on your floor :becky: That poor hockey player! OMG that must have hurt like hell!! I can't imagine him wanting to get right back out there and play again?? Which Outlander book are you on? I am 3/4 of the way through her 8th and newest book, this one is just a great as the others and I am happy to know that she has another one in the works! But the characters are getting older, wonder how much longer she will continue with this series? I can't imagine the pain you must have gone through with shingles on your face?? I just can't decide weather to get the vaccine or not, it is covered here too for anyone that wants it, if it is recommended by your doctor then there is no charge.

Phylis - hope you are feeling a bit better today! We miss you!!

I hope to get my order for my new bathing suits today, at least I hope that at least one of them fits me!! Other than that I have a few groceries to get and some scrapping to get done. Calendar for the Aussie's are just about finished. Have a great day all!

Sounds like most of you are doing alright for now. Sure hope it stays that way. Yesterday I bit the bullet and deconstructed my work area in the dining room and reassembled it in the living room. It is getting crowded there, but we've almost got the DR ready for DH to start work on prepping for painting. As a reward yesterday I watched "Juliet of the Spirits." It is a 1965 Fellini movie that went to DVD at some point and is available through the library system. When I scrapped about it last month I decided I had to see it again. I'm not still an impressionable art student, but the visual aspect and its ties to the music are still stunning.

Tonight I'll make dinner and we'll watch game 1 of the World Series. Nancy, it is interesting seeing you getting into the hockey season as I wave goodbye to the baseball one.

Happy Tuesday and a lovely fall day to all.
