What day am I now on with my back and hip spasming? This is really getting to me. I can't wait to get into the shower to see if the hot water will ease this up.
It is making me cranky (er).

MRI was actually in some ways harder than I expected. The machine itself and IV were fine, but it was the staying still while trying really hard to not take deep breaths or shiver that about did me in. I couldn't feel my fingers by the time they pulled me out. I guess in a few days the Dr will call with results and that will be one least Medical Test that I can cross off of my Bucket List hahaha!!!

I popped into Walmart on the way home to get the plastic to cover over the windows for winter and a can of spray paint for my Halloween costume. I bout 4 small items, and the cashier put them into 2 bags, and then didn't tell me that. Who would have thought that a skein of yarn, a tiny tube of eyeshadow primer, a small box window plastic and a can of paint would need 2 bags? Guess who left the second bag there and now has to go back today to get it? Blergh. Thankfully, we pass by on our way home from Jaida's appt so can run in then.

The weather here is going to be sunny and warm today and tomorrow. Caitlyn and I are planning on taking the dogs for a hike today after school. I was all set to pay the extra money for online grocery shopping this week, and I called my mom to see if she wanted to head down the shore on Wed but she has plans. It is SIL's B-Day darn it. Why couldn't she been born on Friday when it is going to be cold again?? LOL

Better roll. :bowl:
xoxo!

Nancy- your town had a beautiful day for the Duck Races. Yay for Luther! I hope that he didn't have too much to worry about with the vacuum.

Rae- looks like you and Trudy both did ok with the power. Whew! That is how Jaida looks at the rats in the wheel. Nose right up against the grate of the cage. She probably wonders why she can't have a wheel.

Trudy- I get like that too with my outdoor plants. I try to hold onto them as long as I can then I so sick of seeing how scraggly they are and out they go.

Jean- I don't know why I was worrying about hairy legs, the hospital gowns are *not* made for people as short as me. They trailed the ground as I walked. I couldn't even wear the headphones since they were too big for my head. :p
How is your baseball team faring?

Good morning - Wow our weather is awesome! Highs in the low 80s. Sun and yet no humidity. I am loving this! My DH made it through his biopsy and now is home today just taking it easy as he has not classes. No results for a while. And then tonight is my first home hockey game of the season. Very excited! Luther barks the whole time I vacuum but it does not bother me. Gives him a good workout! LOL Had a fun dinner out with my girlfriend. Panera's has brought back their turkey chili and it is really good.

Chris sorry your back is still not happy. I cannot believe having to be so still for the MRI did it any good. The one time I had an MRI I feel asleep. LOL Sorry you have to go back to Walmart! Really don't know why they have to use so many bags.

Trudy hope the clean up goes well. And we still have some plants outdoors and since we have not had any freezes they are hanging in there. Have fun talking to Mason!

Rae I am so lucky right now that my weather is not rain. It should arrive here on Thursday and I will be bundling up them and walking Luther.

Jean congrats on the Indians being just one win from the World Series. I am shocked the Jays have not put up more of a fight!

Have a great day all!

Morning O-zies, I am off to Chemainus to meet up with SIL Linda to deliver her Norwex order and have some lunch and do some shopping at the Christmas Store. I love going to that store!! They have so much to choose from though that it makes it very hard to decide what to get :becky: Hoping for a half decent day tomorrow for our hike, which will be up at my old stomping grounds in the little town of Youbou. We are headed to Shaw Creek and if I remember correctly it is a beautiful hike with tons of moss covered rocks. A place I used to go when I was very young and Dad would give me heck because the bears were are very plentiful there. With this group however we make so much noise talking etc. that I am sure we will scare any kind of wildlife away LOL!

Chris - Darn your poor back!! I hope that the hot steamy shower makes it feel at least a bit better! Keep us posted on the MRI results! DD had four or five MRI's while in the hospital, but she doesn't remember any of them. Perhaps a good thing? Too funny that the hospital gowns are way too long on you :pound: guess you did not have to worry about shaving your legs!

Ok I am off to the shower and then better get in a call to DD and Mason before heading out to meet the SIL. Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Good morning, ladies. Worked late last night and so did Darrell so he brought take-out food home for dinner. I prefer homemade food but do appreciate not having to cook sometimes. Bought a casserole/soup magazine and want to try out a few new recipes. I am getting really lazy and boring with my cooking lately, making the same old things.

This week will continue to be busy until I get all my editing done. Shooting 3 sessions within a week and then trying to find editing time while I'm also doing my day job is taking it's toll on me. I'm really happy to not shoot many sessions anymore, I just don't have the time and when I have the time I want to take my own photos. I walked around my neighborhood on Sunday just before the sun set and the rain was just a sprinkle. I took photos looking toward own home, through the trees and bushes, and walked around a few blocks, taking macro shots, and then finished up in the school yard behind our house and got some shots of the foliage around our fence and gate. It was an enjoyable 20 minute walk and that's what I want to do more of, just take photos for me.

Today we don't have to walk Ava which Taz will miss but I'm happy to use that time for work and will take Taz out for a walk along the river later.

Chris - I hope the hot water helps. Are you stretching? Taking some pain meds? Hope it improved today. I totally get that, pain making you cranky. It's so frustrating.

I just got out of the shower so better go blow dry and get dressed, then grab a second cup of coffee so i can get started on my day. Have a great day, everyone.

Looks like we cross-posted, Trudy. Have a wonderful hike!

Cross-posted with you too, Nancy. Wow...what warm weather. Wish we could switch right now. I'm really getting sick of the rain and just dread that the months of rain is just starting...ugh.

Today DH is taking car in for a squeaky noise. May be brakes. Hope nothing serious. Car is only 4 years old. (We only have the one.) We are very happy the Indians won the third baseball game!! Too bad we're down to 2 starting pitchers.

Chris, hope a shower helped. Stupid using 2 bags by Wal-mart!

Nancy, have fun at the hockey game!

Trudy, hope your hike is wonderful.

Rae, love your photo walk! Hope you'll have more time for your own photos.

I am here to share my excitement that after working on it for hours, I think my Adobe issues are resolved. Several weeks ago, Adobe started telling me my software wasn't legitimate even though I purchased it through the Adobe website in 2012. After reinstalling and then doing an uninstall and a reinstall, I am no longer getting that message.

Chris, I am sorry you are having back issues. I hope they find a solution soon. My dh suffers from near constant back pain as the result of micro cracks all along his spine from playing football from the age of 6 until 17. We have yet to find a solution.

Sounds like everyone else is having a great Autumn. I hear Autumn will be arriving this week with highs only in the low 80s. lol
