I could also use a new body, if anyone has an extra one of them. A new soul? No one knows for sure is Faery even has one to begin with

Some reasons why I need a new brain:
1. I used gallons upon gallons of Brain Bleach after watching some of the Debate on DVR last night. And to think- after 1 hour, I couldn't take another second and we turned it off.
2. Tindamax/Lyme brain
3. Totally scattered because I am totally disorganized. I am also realizing that I am incapable to get organized. Procrastination and Disorganization should be my middle name(s). See #2 for further explanation.

A new body-:
1. Tindamax/Lyme
2. Ridiculous expectations that my body will work after painting a bathroom. yeah, i was only going to tape off and cut in yesterday but once I got started, I had to keep going. (Who didn't see *that* coming? :D). But but but-- In my defence, My bathroom is really small and all of the stuff that I keep on the counter is now crammed in the corner of my bedroom and I know that if that stayed there too long, I would trip over it in the middle of the night, face plant on the stair stepper, (Clothes tree, I suppose would be a better name for it) and that would hurt much more than muscle aches from painting.

A new soul:
1. Mine seems to be a bit withered around the edges :p

But the good news is that the mold killing primer is done and the bathroom looks so much better already! My next question though is what color to paint it. I am scared that when I get the new vanity- a glossy white, it will look terrible against the Antique white paint that I have leftover in the basement. It might make the walls look dingy?:noidea:

The best news is that I did hear back from BFF and we are meeting for coffee today :tea:
I hope that just having a nice cup and some time to talk will help us both feel a little less isolated and alone. I love her with all of my heart and it hurts me when she is hurting.

Nothing more exciting from me, I hope that all of you have nice and relaxing days!

xoxo

In light of the clown sightings/political landscape/hurricanes/fill in the blank, today is:

Face Your Fears Day
Take a moment to consider what your life might be like if you conquered some of your greatest fears. What would you do differently? Face Your Fears Day gives you the chance to stand up to your fears, overcome them, and to seize the day.

What is your fear?
My fear is always about losing loved ones, and not ever being cured of Lyme.
My silly fear is being turned upside down.Clowns too, but that is more of a creeped out feeling that actual fear.

nancy- Whew! Great news that Luther is doing better. Dogs are *much* easier getting meds into than cats/rats/bunnies. J was great about hers too, smear it with peanut better and she gulped it down.
It is freezing here this morning, 31* and I don't like it either.

Rae- I am choking up reading about your day with Bailey too. She is amazing! The dinner sounds perfect, including the mashed potatoes for Taz :D Good luck editing if you have to do more today.

Jean- I tried calling my ins co and this is what I got: "Your call cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later." Thankfully, this call was to confirm that I didn;t need prior auth. for my MRI and my dr already did, but this is more for my peace of mind. I will try again today.
I also tried calling NJ FamilyCare. It is an S-CHIP program for lower income families, and this is where Caitlyn gets her health ins from. Typically you age out at 19, but since our income dropped yet again, we should qualify as a Family. I cannot tell you how long I spent on that phone call just pushing menu buttons and you couldn't say Representative or 0 to speak to a human.
I gave up, went to the website and tried starting a New Application. I thought it would be easier to let Cait's account reflect the loss of income, but nope- Had to start from scratch. :frusty:
If we get accepted into the program, it might be harder to find specialists, but hopefully we won't have to worry about Gary's insulin and the Medicare donut hole.

I hope that your B-ball teams win, esp Cleveland :) Play ball!!!

Guess who is running an hour behind schedule? Me!!!!!!

off to the races.... :dogwalk:

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday was taken up mostly by editing client photos but we did pop out for a turkey dinner. Jen called and said that as great as the ham dinner was at Bailey's the day before, it didn't seem like thxgiving without turkey so she popped out in the morning, found a fresh turkey and invited us for dinner. It was quick visit, the meal was delicious and then we came home so I could finish up the editing. Got it done about 11:30 last night. Whew. It's in their gallery and now onto the second client editing. I hope to finish that by Saturday b/c I have another session booked that day and really want to be caught up so I can move onto the 3rd session and then be done. I'm glad that I've semi-retired from photography so that I don't have to work that hard very often now. It's good timing with the money though b/c it'll help to pay for the new or rebuilt computer I need to get soon.

Chris - hope you can take it easy today, enjoy your visit with your friend and let your body and mind relax. Hope you get the health care issue sorted out and you get the family plan.

Looks like everyone is having a late start to their morning. I feel like I could crawl back into bed LOL. I'm going to go pick up the little desk today or tomorrow after walking Ava and will have to get some stain for it. I'm sure Darrell will help and we can work on it this Sunday. It's nice to have a little project we can do together.

I'm out of here, getting my butt in gear, and starting work a bit early today. Have a good day, everyone.

Morning ladies... I was MIA for the whole weekend and now have lots of catching up to do! Thanksgiving was one of the best we have had for many years! So nice to have some of our family back home with us! We had lots to be Thankful for!! The turkey was delicious, so nice and juicy and done to perfection! We had the most amazing white chocolate and pumpkin pie!! Jackie made homemade buns with my bread machine and the grandkids kept us busy playing hide and seek and air hockey. We went to the pool and had fun there while the turkey was cooking. On Saturday we went bowling and had lots of fun there too! A great family weekend!!

Chris - Sorry you are feeling so discombobulated I have days like that too, when I just can't seem to get it together. I know that your situation is so much worse and I wish that there was something to make it all go away!! Hope that you manage to get your bathroom finished, perhaps the paint store could add a bit of colour to your left over paint to spruce up the colour for you? Maybe a light grey or a nice khaki colour? I hope that you have a nice visit with your BFF today! Enjoy your coffee!!

Nancy - Glad to hear that Luther is feeling so much better! I hope you had another good walk this morning and that the temps were not too cold for you!

Rae - How wonderful that Bailey had her first Thanksgiving in her new apartment! How great that she invited all of you to share it with her too! You made me tear up a bit over your special card for her, you are so good to her and I know she holds a special place in your heart! I hope you don't have too much work to catch up on after this long weekend!!

Jean - Nice to see you here again! Yes it has been cold here too, but the sun is shining and hopefully the temps will warm up this afternoon. Glad you are enjoying all of the ball games, of course here we are cheering for the Jays!!

Well I better get some breakfast and then answer my emails and do some gallery browsing! I am busy with my Norwex orders too, its going better than I thought it would! I don't think I will make a ton of money with it, but who knows :noidea: Tomorrow will be hiking day and it looks like another lovely one with nice weather too. I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!

Not enough time this morning before we were off to meet someone for a tour of the new wildlife area at the natural history museum. During the tour ran into a good friend we almost never see and later my nephew and his wife. How strange and nice. Then a lovely lunch and birding our way home. Lots of juncos and some other fall migrants then in our back yard a gorgeous male Black-throated Blue Warbler (see https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Black-throated_Blue_Warbler/id). Last night we were ecstatic that Cleveland won and goes on to (uh-oh Trudy) play the Toronto Blue Jays. Hope we don't get another 19-inning game!

Chris, hope you had a peaceful meeting with BFF! Sorry that the ins. calls yesterday were as taxing as expected. At least you have lots of experience wading through it all! Also sorry you had to watch some of the debate. We are plain chicken and won't watch. Oh, Trudy has good idea about adding color to the paint if possible.

Rae, sounds like best of both worlds on Thanksgiving dinner! Glad the editing will bring in handy funds.

Trudy, you too had a great sounding Thanksgiving. Hope ours next month will turn out as nice.
